Cosy apartment in the countryside 17km from Beauvais, and 20km from the airport

Welcome to the Moulin de Longueuil, a property with 4000 m² of land and the "Le Sillet" river, located in the commune of Berthecourt, 17 km from Beauvais and 20 km from Beauvais Tillé Airport.

On the property, there are 2 separate houses (short-term rentals), and 3 accommodations (1 house of 280 m² and 2 apartments in the brick house). This gîte, located in the newly renovated red brick house in 2023, covers 65 m² and is attached to another studio occupied by my father, who is 95 years old but still independent (only one person comes to help him with cleaning and lunch). Please note that he will not be able to assist you if you ask for help...

The cozy apartment, decorated in a Savoyard style, consists of a living room with a TV (WiFi via Orange + Canal+), a kitchen with a central island (with electric oven, microwave, dishwasher), a master bedroom with a 160 x 200 bed (with TV), a children's room with bunk beds (mattresses 80 x 190), separate toilets, a large closet in the hallway for coats and shoes, and finally a bathroom with a large shower, a washing machine, and plenty of storage.

The beds will be made. There will be coffee (Nespresso machine: about ten "Vertuo" capsules), two dish towels, and a hand towel, toilet paper (1 roll in advance), laundry pods (3 pods in advance), dishwasher tablets (3 pods in advance), hand soap in both the kitchen and the bathroom, garbage bags (3 bags in advance), and a few cleaning products. I do not provide towels or soaps (shower gel, shampoo) in the bathroom. You will also find a vacuum cleaner, a mop + Spanish broom + traditional broom + dustpan and brush. There is also an ironing board and an iron. Finally, there will be a large clothes dryer. For storing your belongings, there will be a dresser (drawers) in each bedroom, as well as storage space in the utility room and the built-in wardrobe in the hallway. There will be board games and books for children and adults to keep you entertained!

You can enjoy the large garden, the very large trampoline, swings, and slide. Additionally, you can take walks in the forest and fields right outside the gate. You can also visit the horses and cows in the fields next to the property.

This old mill has a factory, attached to the large plastered house, which dates back a century, where wooden objects such as school rulers, squares, and levels of all sizes were made. Up to 7 workers used to work there! You will be able to visit this historic place starting in February 2025.

In the village, you can enjoy a bakery, grocery store, hairdresser, florist, post office, and gym. Additionally, you can refuel and visit a large supermarket in Hermes, 3 km away. There is also a butcher, another bakery, another hairdresser, and two restaurants (a pizzeria and the town hall’s PMU, where small dishes are cooked with love)!

If needed, I can provide you with the contact information of a babysitter from the village, available only on weekends.

The entrance is through a large gate using a badge, which you can pick up from a "key box" next to the gate. You can park in one of the three parking spaces on the left side of the driveway, and once you’re in the inner courtyard, you can collect the key to the accommodation from the key box next to the front door. I do not live on the property.
