This Gulf-front condo is also near plenty of local attractions and activities including the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Gulf State Park Pier, an amusement park, golfing, and dining.

After a full day of exploring the area or lounging by the zero-entry pool that overlooks the Gulf, come home to relax on the sofa and enjoy the cable TV. When the group gets hungry, take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen. Eat meals or play games together at the dining table. Rest up in the tranquil bedrooms and get ready for another day of vacation bliss. Start your next day off right with coffee on the balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air and spectacular water views. There’s something for everyone when you stay at San Carlos.

The room would be great if the floors were mopped and the air conditioner in the two bed bedroom worked good . Especially at night . It was hot in there . We had to go buy fans because no one came to look at it

Nice condo!

This condo was very nice, very close to the beach and the hangout. Plenty of room for our family of 5, and all bedrooms had a bathroom, which was great! The only issue we had was the air conditioning in the room with the double beds. We turned the air down to 64, and it was still unbearable to sleep in that room. My daughter ended up sleeping on the pull out couch. Also, the bedding is very, very thin and only has a sheet and very thin comforter. If you want to be warmer while sleeping, bring a blanket.

Great family summer vacation

This end unit has an incredible view! The layout is perfect for large families! The 3 elevators were always working and fast response! We needed to call about a few questions and the representative called back with quick and kind response. Not a problem, but just know to bring your own salt, pepper, foil, spices, garbage bags (they provide 2, but if need more). Very good stay and will be back!

More Memories To Make

Girls Trip 2024 was perfect. The condo was the perfect location. It was decorated brightly and beachy. We were comfortable and relaxed throughout the stay. Plenty of room for all of us to lounge around. Beds were comfortable. Condo was clean and loved the fact all we had to do for checkout was strip the beds and turn on the dishwasher. We have already booked this same room for next year and counting down the days.

The property was nice and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach was very nice. We had issues with a loud rattling noise and the air conditioner not working properly. We messaged Vacasa multiple times with no response. There were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We did experience a shooting outside the local Hangout Bar which was very unsettling.

Beautiful Gulf View

4 adults, 12 and 9 year old had an enjoyable trip. The condo is decorated nicely and provides enough room for 8, if you include the fold out couch. The twin bedroom needs some work. The ceiling fan only works on one speed and it was, by far, the warmest room in the house. The mattresses need to be replaced quickly. For anyone staying 3-4 nights it may not be an issue, but when you stay for 10 nights it became an issue. Multiple fire alarms went off, in the condo, during our trip. After several texts with representatives no one showed up to check them out so we unplugged two of them, per the direction of condo staff. The morning and evening views from the balcony are amazing with ample room for coffee, books, and overall relaxation. I was aware of the parking risks prior to booking but did not consider paying $50 per stay to park across the 4 lane highway. Overall we had an enjoyable trip with many memories made. This condo has room for improvement and isn’t far away from a 5 star review.

Beach Trip

Location was fantastic! We had a couple of issues: 1) Condo never cooled off. Thermostat said 68 but was very warm. We had to use multiple box fans & my own travel fan to comfortably sit in the living room. 2) Thete was constant loud noise coming from the walls & vents which would wake us up during the night and annoying during the afternoon. Contacted management but we were only there for 2 nights so not sure they could have gotten someone in to fix it before we left anyway.

13th floor :)

The unit was exquisitely decorated. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with most everything you'd need (although with all the wine glasses, you'd think there'd be a wine opener!) There was no functional can opener (manual or electric)- of course that could have been an operator error. The one concern I have about this unit is the noise. The neighbors on the 15th (rather 14th) floor moved furniture around either to prepare for their basketball court or soccer field throughout the day and throughout our week long stay. I have stayed in plenty of condos and never did I feel like someone could pop through the ceiling at any given moment. It's as if the concrete noise buffer between floors was forgotten for this unit. Fortunately, we had a beautiful deck to sit and avoid the noise and thankfully they were not at it ALL night!! And, many times the noise could be ignored, though every person in my family made a comment about it at various intervals- so was unfortunately annoying enough.

Beautiful condo

We loved our stay at 1409 San Carlos in November. The unit was beautifully furnished and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. We look forward to staying here again on our next annual trip to Gulf Shores.

Beautifully decorated and located but needs maintenance

The condo was very spacious and beautiful decorated. Almost breathtaking to walk in to. Lots of room for the 8 of us. It was clean and well stocked (wine opener would be nice). There were some cons though. I would bring your own bedding because bedding is very thin and rough. (Same goes for the toilet paper provided haha) The twins headboards where firmly attached and leaned over the bed and had to be pushed back. I believe almost every bed had broken or cracked baseboards on the frame. Especially in the king suite. We had to assemble it three times. It was apparent that it had been “rigged” to make it to the next guest. It folded us up like a taco on night two. Rude awakening if I do say so myself. One of the storm balcony doors had a loose handle that we called the office about so we didn’t get blamed for that. Lastly the jacuzzi tub was wonderful except for the fact that you must hold your finger on the jet button the whole time if you want jets. I believe the toilet in the king suite might be due for maintenance because it took a few flushes to send the load. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again but I surely hope these things are fixed by then.

Great place to stay!!!

It's a very grate place to stay with a beautiful view. Everything was clean upon entry, the only thing is they need to leave more essentials out. There was not any supplies for cleaning, their was only one trash bag for the whole weekend. There was coffee cups without a coffee machine.
