Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The location is amazing, couldn’t ask for a more beautiful view or to be any closer to the beach. House could use some TLC and updated beds. Star link internet only worked about 25% of the time which made for some long rainy days with a toddler when we couldn’t watch any television. If you have little ones or elderly family, the stairs may be challenging.

Bay Walk Vacation

Our family had a wonderful vacation staying and the Bay Walk house. Plenty of room and right on the beach. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking.

Beautiful Beach Home

It’s our 2nd stay in this home. Perfect for our annual girls trip. Home was very clean and beautifully decorated. Love that it is just steps from the beach. Would definitely recommend. Will be back.

Great view. Easy access to beach. The house provided more than enough beach toys for kids. Perfect sized house for our family gathering. Easy 20 minute drive to restaurants/grocery stores. Easy access to Gulf Shores.

Beach Trip

Loved the house. Very clean and very close to the beach. Only negative is the kitchen needs to be restocked with new pots and pans (only had one) skillets(finish came off on our food and handle almost broken on one) and stove pans(pan or skillets wouldn’t set level). This would not keep us from renting again. Loved the location and cleanliness.

Great Home and Location

The home is beautiful and the location cannot be beat! The kitchen needs some updating. Not many tools to cook large meals. Only 1 of 5 bedrooms have TV’s. It was a little inconvenient at night but didn’t affect our great time. Any problems we had were with Vacasa not the home itself. All in all I would rent it again and probably will.

Amazing location and nice house!

We loved how this house was right on the beach and all the open windows to see out. The main complaint we have was the mattresses was so bad on the beds. Probably the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in. It was a bummer because the house other than that is amazing, but getting good sleep is important on vacation. The only other thing is there isn't a dining room table to play games or eat inside the house but there is one outside to sit at so that wasn't a huge deal. Overall a very great house and location!

Roaches

I already did one but it disappeared. We got there n the screen was ripped on the door there was animal hair on a chair and there were roaches everywhere and a toilet that didn't work. I called e everyday and they did nothing until 2 days before we were leaving. Very dissappointed, they didn't offer anything for us. I paid on this vacay for a year and we were worried about roaches crawling on us at night.

Bad management

Location was great. House base potential but needs some attention. Not for families with toddlers nor older adults - description should include dangerous stairs within house. When we arrived hand railing on one set of stairs broken off wall. No hand towels at all! Took 3 days for Vacasa sent some via runner. Horrible property management- very evasive. Phone calls all go to Oregon - no local contact to speak of. No inside table for eating; only broken table on dilapidated screened porch (which COULD be nice. Broken toilet tissue holder downstairs; NO toilet tissue in master bath. Lights out on outside stair and one in kitchen. Owners must not check on it very often. Could be a great beach house. Good outside deck; beautiful view; flat walk out to beach… my suggestion would be make sure they have retained new property management before you book!

Beautiful beach house

I recently stayed a week in this home with 5 family members. We loved the location. The beach is great. It is far enough from town without being too far. I have a few complaints though. First, the “5th” bedroom with the two single beds that are end to end are NOT a separate bedroom. It is a perfect space for a family with children but not for adults. There is no way to access the back bedroom without walking through the other first. I knew this going and we only needed 4 rooms so, it was not an issue for us but others should be aware. My biggest issue was that, while the kitchen looked pretty, it was poorly stocked. The pots were old with peeling Teflon. There was only a single salt shaker, no other spices at all. I just have never experienced that before. All other rental houses we have used have had a cabinet with supplies other renters have left behind so you don’t need to run out and buy that garlic for dinner (although, good news there was a dinner general 3 miles away)... Additionally, only one pot holder, bar soap for hands, no cleaning spray, and only 2 trash bags. I know it sounds petty but frustrated at the time. The deck and deck chairs were great. The couches were comfy. The mattresses upstairs left a bit to be desired. Bathrooms were all clean. Water pressure was good as was the both the heating and A/C. I have no real complaints, just the minor issues. The house comfy, we had dinner for 9 of us with plenty of room. We had a great time. We would return!

Below average

We arrived on Saturday at 4 o'clock the cleaning people were still in the house. They had no linens for the beds and no towels and promised to be back in an hour with these. We did not get Linens and towels until Sunday night also no blankets so we slept on beds with no sheets no blankets and we had to go buy some towels to take showers. Although promised and included in price there was no Internet or Wi-Fi the entire week and we were told that wouldn't be repaired until the 19th of July good luck to the next people. The screened in porch had no screenshot the outside door so was worthless and allowed insects in The ceiling fan on the porch was missing a blade and did not work. One of the hand railings going upstairs was pulled out of the wall and was not repaired until Monday. With elderly people in our group this was a real safety issue. All of these things were reported Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday. There was a tv in the living room. And one very small one in the twin room...no others. No kitchen towels or potholders so we bought some.

Cozy, Convenient, and Clean!

My friends and I really liked this place. It very comfortably accommodated 8 of us and could have easily accommodated 2 more without any issue. The home was clean and you could tell it had been cleaned prior to our arrival. The living room was great and the TV had plenty of options for when the rain forced us to be inside. The screened porch was a group favorite. The house is steps away from the beach and leaves little to be desired. Would certainly stay here again! Bathroom fixtures and toilets could use some updating and refreshing, but it worked for us. There was a nice supply of beach items downstairs (umbrellas, boards, toys for building sandcastles, etc.). No nearby high rises always ensured relaxed time on the beach and minimal interaction with others.

It is beautiful, but not for everyone

Vacasa did great and the house was clean. This house is beautiful and has a lot of wonderful aspects, and it was obviously loved and cared for by the owner. The location on Fort Morgan and being right on the water is wonderful. However, this home is not for everyone. There are a lot of steps in the house and the ones by the kitchen are not the best for those not steady on their feet. There is no dining area inside the house, so you can either eat around the kitchen island (3 of the chairs are set really low), the coffee table, or on the outside table. Again, this house is beautiful and would suit a lot of people, it is just not the best for everyone.

BayWalk Vacay

The house and property is breath taking. A hiccup checking in. They did not send us a working code. Spent over 40 min on the phone to get that fixed with anxious kids, 95 degree temps, but we pushed through it. NO DINING ROOM TABLE TO EAT AT. Only an outdoor table. Minimal kitchen supplies to use for cooking. Tons of beach toys was a plus. Need new beds in both queen rooms and the twins upstairs were really bad. Hope they invest in new mattresses soon. Also, no mattress covers. Weird. Bring your own laundry soap, dish soap, etc. Not enough dishes to go for 2 meals, so had to hand wash everything after every meal. Overall, with new beds and a kitchen table, would highly recommend.

House was really good

The property was really good, however we called Vacasa several times and were told that the local office would contact us, never heard from them. One question we had was what are the rights as far as beach access. We had people walk through the property and set up in front of the house. I wanted to know if we could tell them to move. We paid extra for a house on the beach and two different times we had renters from across the street just walk down the driveway and beside the house and set up where we were.
