Cook up a masterpiece in the fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and surprise your group with tasty meals and beach snacks. Then, retreat to the waterfront balcony for a quiet evening at home or snuggle up on the sofa and watch TV on the flatscreen TV or read a good novel. The balcony can be also accessed from the primary bedroom.

This retreat features a den/sunroom that can be used as another bedroom/private sleeping area for your convenience.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The person who checked us in was very friendly. The condo was very nice with a few imperfections that were easily overlooked.The pullout couch was very uncomfortable so, to say it sleeps12 is stretching it. The view from the balcony was nice, but partially obstructed by the hotel building in front of the condos. Some of the arcade games didnt work, which we didnt know untitil after we swiped our cards and lost points. We loved the hot tub, pool, sauna, the price and, most of all, the beachfront location! Anyone thinking of staying here, keep in mind that The Carousel is an older building so, if you don't expect perfection and give some grace, you will enjoy your stay.

Good size spot

The spot was great, the house had a great amount of room for our group. The hotel was very busy as there was a festival taking place we knew nothing about, might have been my overlook but would have been nice to know as somethings were kinda off putting with children .

Good for a short weekend but not great

Good room but needs some TLC. Lots of unpainted wall patches, some ceiling damage, and overall paint issues. The living room chair is badley stained. Good for a short family weekend with 3 teenageers, but definitely needs a refresh to attract clientele

Our Stay

Some of the outlets didnt work . There was construction going on in our room during our stay so men where in and out fixing the doors on the laundry room. Some of the lights switches didnt work . On the plus side it was a Beautiful view!

Couches and sofa beds were gross , needs new trim in places small holes in ceiling , keys never worked , everything in the main lobby was to expensive, don't waste your money

Good view, bad furnishings

Great space...the extra "den" was great for the sunset and kids to play! Bedrooms good but shabby. Kitchen great but bring tinfoil to line old pans. Bathroom great...bring paper products. Caroulsel, like this condo, is old but trying and will always be my favorite for kids and off season.

We had a great vacation with beautiful weather, however, the condo itself was not as nice as the pictures presented. It would be a home inspectors nightmare (almost all electrical boxes were loose, light switches did not turn on lights, had to go into room and turn on a lamp in the dark), tubs in both bathrooms filled up quickly with water from slow drains due to sand in traps, beds were not comfortable, especially in the den pull out sofa (springs were poking into my body no matter how I laid down), others complained or their beds not being confortable as well. In the shared bathroom, there were limited towel bars to hang towels on and one was nearly coming out of the wall (anchors were loose). The toilet rocked when you sat on it (hold-down bolts need tightened). The hour hand on the large clock next to the kitchen table was loose and would not spin (I fixed this). Several of the dresser drawers in the bedrooms appeared to be broken (we did not use them and just lived out of our suitcases). The new carpeting in the bedrooms was clean. The laminate flooring in the living room, kitchen and hallways was nice. There was a TV in every room, however, we only used the one in the living room. The fridge worked well as did the freezer (kept everything cold). Coffee maker worked well too (did not use the Kureig). The kitchen was well stocked with sliverware, glasses, plates, etc., however, we brought our own to use. A/C was good in the east rooms facing the ocean, and

Great Vacation!

The condo was great for our family. The children had a place to "call their own". It is laid out very well. It could have been a little more clean. But all in all we would definitely book it again.

Not so clean

The location was nice, but the condo was not clean, Lots of rains on walls and cabinets. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Not all electric outlets work and most were loose not fixed to the wall definitely a fire hazard. Dishwasher was not working. Pots and pans were limited and was very junky. Junk was piled in the utility closet. Even the cleaning tools were disgusting such as the broom etcā€¦. Shower rods were gross and super rusted and broken chairs and beach rental chair on the property. Definitely didnā€™t feel clean staying there. I wouldā€™ve definitely brought my own cooking supplies and linen. Also the AC unit need to be unlocked, nobody want to spend time or come back to a 80 degree, smelly and humid room that they paid for. Thought it was going to be nicer, but hank goodness It was a beach visit, but I didnā€™t want to feel like I was still in the beach when I got back yo the condo. Definitely not pleasedā€¦

One thing that disappointed us..

Great location, carousel is an amazing place to stay and very friendly staff: the vacasa staff on the other hand were not as friendly when the carousel let our guests check in early to move their luggage from a previous hotel room: with a ton of kid friendly activities at the carousel: the condo could use a professional carpet cleaning as our kids feet and legs were black after playing through the bedrooms. We all wore out sandals throughout the house. Had enough pots and pans to cook breakfast during the stay, convenient with washer and dryer, loved having linens provided.

The unit was large and comfortable for all. However, it was not cleaned properly. The bathrooms were dirty. Curtains were moldy and the rugs were filthy. The toaster did not work and when we complained they replaced it with a new one. There were paint cans in the kid's room, the door to the washer/dryer was broken and light switches were inoperable. Very disappointed with the poor maintenance.

This home was very dirty. Looked as if no cleaning crew had been there in months. Mildewed toilets/shower curtains. Sand and dust covering the entire condo. The screen door was broken for the slider. There was a knee hole in one of the bedroom doors. Living room furniture was dirty and worn. Would not recommend staying here!

Nice view, could use new furniture and HVAC

Love the (partial) ocean view. However, living room furniture a little dirty/worn out and beds not comfortable. Heating vents only worked in front half of condo so master bedroom was too hot while queen bed room was cold. Hot water in shower was lukewarm.

Mostly good but some issues

The condo was a good place for 4 adults and 3 children. We would say that is the maximum to stay comfortably as anyone else would have to be on the pull-out beds in the living room. The management people were friendly and you can walk right out to the beach. They are strict about "quiet time" from 11:00 PM to 7:00 and that was a really good. The view from the living room and master bedroom was very nice. There are plenty of dishes and silverware and the dishwasher works well. Our main concern was the AC system. The master bedroom was nearly 15 degrees colder than the two other bedrooms and there was no way to change it without making the rest of the condo uncomfortably hot so we slept under two blankets there just so everyone else would be reasonably comfortable (but still warm) at night. We heard the same complaint from another guest so it may be a design flaw in the building itself. Also the rooms were clean, but not spotlessly so, and the garbage had not been emptied when we arrived. Overall a good stay.

Ocean City Condo

The "partial view" of this property was great. The condo itself is in need of some sprucing up adn some updating.. Comforters did not fit the beds, one was torn and the stuffing was coming out. There were several pieces of broken furniture, and a missing bifold door for the laundry area. As stated in the listing. the kitchen is really lacking in cooking pans of any sort. There was a large "spill" on the balcony and chairs need to be washed. The hotel staff are excellent and everyone was very helpful, friendly, and eager to helpl There were some housekeeping issues, but VACASA addressed these quickly.

Awesome Hotel for Kids (and big kids)

The hotel is awesome. Big indoor pool and heated hot tub, outdoor pool and awesome ice skating rink with nightly shows that are great. Can't skate they have walkers. Mermaid visits, movies on the beach, indoor and outdoor snack area with great food. Staff is awesome. Room was clean, everything you need with plates, cups, utensils, pots and pans. Balcony was great although you do have a partially restricted view but still see the beach and ocean. And it does have a regular coffee pot and a Keurig coffee pot and they serve Starbucks coffee in the indoor snack bar. King bed in master bed room very comfortable, and queen bed in the one bedroom. Bunk beds great for kids. Would give it a 5 star rating over all.
