Hocking Hills Laikyns Lodge with Indoor pool- Great View!

This Lodge is now open as of July 18th, 2022! Laikynā€™s Lodge has over 6,500 sq. ft. of living space. Includes 8 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Includes large wrap around deck with indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Lodge features a 15x30 fiberglass indoor pool that can be enjoyed year-round. Lodge also includes a large hot tub, and fire pit area. One of the best features of this property is the breath-taking view of this lodge. Another great thing about this lodge is its proximity to the city of Logan with many restaurants and shopping stores as well as its proximity to many hiking attractions that hocking hills has to offer. It is right where you want to be!

Upstairs layout:
4 private bedrooms each with a queen bed. 2 full bathrooms. Loft with sleeper sofa and chair. Sleeping up to 11 people.

Main floor layout:
Living room with 65ā€ hdtv with direct tv and blu ray player, fireplace and leather couches. Two dining areas seating up to 20 people. Large kitchen with bar seating, stainless steel microwave, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Master bedroom with king bed and full walk-in luxurious shower bathroom. Floor also includes entry way area, half bath, and great views of the outdoors!
Covered decking around the entire main floor with outdoor fireplace, picnic tables, 4 burner gas grill, and numerous seating options to take in the peace and beauty of the Hocking hills.

Downstairs layout:
Massive game room with pool table, arcade games, card table, leather couches, 82ā€ hdtv with direct tv. 3 bedrooms. 2 full bathrooms.
Bedroom 1- Queen bed and twin sized bunk bed.
Bedroom 2- Queen bed and twin sized bunk bed.
Bedroom 3- customized queen/ twin bunks. Includes 2 queen beds and 2 twin sized beds.
Covered deck with swinging chairs, picnic table, massive 8-person hot tub, access to fire pit area and again great views of the valley.

Pool house layout:
Features an 15x30 fiberglass in-ground salt water heated swimming pool with steps and benches for seating. Stamped concrete flooring with cathedral ceilings and skylights, full of windows and great views. Pool house also has a full bathroom.
Off the pool house is another massive deck great for star gazing at night, gathering area, dancing area, could be used even as a beautiful place to get married! Has picnic table and a few lounging options to relax and again take in the beautiful scenery this place has to offer.

Other notes:
Each bathroom features luxurious tile adding to the beauty of this cabin. Features approximately 3500ā€™ of decking alone! Can sleep up to 26 people comfortably. Sits on 8 acres of privately owned land. Built in 2022. Asphalt black top drive and parking added in spring of 2023.

The Laikyns Lodge was exactly as advertisedā€”clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. It easily accommodated our group of 20 and provided a perfect setting for a relaxing, memorable time with family. The location was excellent as well, close to Hocking Hills Lodge and numerous hiking trails. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Laikynā€™s Lodge. . .it TRULY IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. It was perfect for a girlā€™s weekend. We loved the location and fabulous views, the openness of the main level, the beautiful decks, the pool and hot tub as well as the cozy and comfortable bedrooms. We hope to return next year!!!

We stayed here for our annual family vacation. We had 9 adults and 5 children so it was more than enough room. We had a great time in the pool, hanging out on the deck, playing in the yard, and relaxing as a group watching movies in the living room. The kids loved the game room. We would definitely rent this property again!

Annual multi family vacation

This was by far the best place we have every stayed. Well stocked with toilet paper towels and kitchen supplies/utensils. The home was clean and welcoming. The view was amazing and would definitely stay there again. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We had just enough space not to feel crowed with 4 families.

The cabin from outside was pretty. Very limited parking for large lodge. Furnace was not working first night we all were cold very cold. The host did send repair man but no change in function. Multiple doors and furniture were loose/broken, 2 coffee pots 1 broken and one full of rust. Pool left rashes and 7 of 10 people in our party. Chemicals had to be off. Host came to try to fix some of issues and 2nd day brought a new coffee maker. Pool table needs repairs and pool sticks unusable, Arcade games are child size and 1 game knobs were broken. Water / showers shower door broken sulfur smell bad and shower heads all need replaced, septic was leaking on ground with foul smell you could smell and see, dishwasher wellā€¦ gross and would not clean dishes. Main carpet had burn holes and hot tub had paper on jets and we did not use. Host was nice when he was there 2 times during our stay and worker there 2 times also separate then host. If you like to freeze and smell from lack of heat and water/ water pressure or lack of then this beautiful cabin is for you! Very expensive for quality.

Better than anything we imagined.

The pictures do not do this place justice. Itā€™s absolutely amazing. You can tell the owners thought of everything and really care about the property. Relaxing, fun, incredible view. The pool is in great shape. The owners had Great and pleasant communication. We have stayed at many Vrbos and this has been our best stay overall. This might not matter to some people but even the checkout is easy, only asks you to do a couple of things whereas other places have had a laundry list to complete the morning of checkout.
