Nestled in the beautiful Lincolnshire neighborhood, this duplex apartment is the perfect place for your stay in River City. It is centrally located, with amenities and major highways in close proximity.

This unit is one of two in our Airbnb duplex. Designed with comfort in mind, this space is equipped with everything you might need to unwind after a long day of travel. The living room boasts comfortable furnishings with a smart TV and plenty of books to read. In the kitchen, you will find the necessities, including coffee and tea, as well as a large kitchen table that can double as a workspace. Just past the hall bathroom, you will find your bedroom with a king bed and ample storage space for your items. In the closet, you will find a twin-sized (4.5” memory foam) roll out bed that can either be placed in the bedroom or living room for an additional guest. Washer and dryer available upon request.

This apartment truly is situated in the heart of Evansville. Seated at the cross-section of US 41 and US 66, you can reach 9 of the top 10 attractions in Evansville in 10 minutes or less (check out all 10 on TripAdvisor)! Bonus: University of Evansville is only a two-minute drive away! Double bonus: our locally run coffee shop, Donut Bank, is within walking distance!

Great visit!!

We loved our stay and our visit to Evansville. Parking was a bit of a struggle because we had 2 cars but we managed. Great place for our weekend get away!

Would stay again!

We just needed an overnight accommodation so we did not have to drive 2 hours after attending a concert. This was perfect for us, easy to get to, close to concert venue, and very comfortable. Check in was very easy and the owners were very quick to message me upon rental. Their pre-checkin instruction was very clear. I believe if we had had any issue they would have been quick to address it. We had no issues, however, and found a very inviting space. While we stayed only overnight, this is definitely a good longer term space. Good accommodation, great hosts, good overall experience. Would stay again! Tina

Just so-so

I read a few very positive reviews about this property before staying there. I saw a few things that were not mentioned in the others. I have had a VRBO property for over 10 years, so that is possibly why I see things others do not. Compared to a hotel, this has much more space and full kitchen plus separate living room. A very big plus for staying here over a hotel. In terms of upkeep, some things in the unit are getting very tired. Kitchen cabinets and bathroom door did not close properly. Couch and loveseat were stained and clawed by a cat. Bathroom was updated, which was a plus. However, I questioned the use of a porous, soft wood paneling. It was split when they installed it using screws. Behind the sink was stained with toothpaste spittle. There were repairs I would have taken care of in my property that were not done. One example is the towel rack in the bathroom was hanging off the wall. The sidewalk and walkway were covered with sand and mud due to a recent road repair. I would have power washed it to get rid of that, especially since it had been raining when we arrived and could not avoid walking through mud. Outside of house needs paint, and the northside is starting to mildew. Some decor was falling off walls. I did walk in the area towing mornings and enjoyed the college campus and surrounding area. The owner tried to put everything we needed to know in the check-in instructions. However, he did not answer a pretty simple question before our check-in date.

Peaceful Resting Place During Personal Recurring Problems

We rented both sides of the property in order to have a cost effective place to stay during a family emergency. We set a specific time to stay and had to extend and the owner was so accommodating. We were so grateful. The duplex itself was older but that just gave it charm especially with the vintage and farm style designs of the two residences. It really ended up feeling like a home which was exactly what we needed.

Adorable, cozy spot!

I traveled to Evansville with my daughter for a campus tour and this was the perfect little spot for a clean and comfortable night away from home.

Heavensville suite

This property was cozy and clean, loved the decor in the living room, bathroom and bedroom. Nice and comfortable, King size bed! Bathroom had a nice shower with hairdryer. Games and books for enjoyment! Nice large tv in living room, but wished it had local news stations, basic gable. The streaming service offers little entertainment. Thankyou for letting us stay at your property
