Just Beachy

Come check out my newly renovated condo. This is a one bedroom completely furnished, beach view condo. There’s a queen size bed in the bedroom, Bunk beds in the hallway and a leather couch in the living room. The condo can sleep 5 if one person sleeps on the couch. If you have a large group coming in, i have 3 condos in a row that could comfortably sleep 15 people.

This condo sits on the beach in a gated community. There are 2 beach access gates or if you feel like lounging by the pool we have 2 swimming pools on the property, 1 being heated which is perfect for those cooler nights. There's also a outdoor Tiki Hut area with a fire pit and tables & chairs, perfect for cooking out or birthday parties. I have recently been hired in as the event coordinator for this resort and will be hosting an event each week. It could be a pool party, beach party, karaoke, or movie night at the pool so be sure to check with me to see what might be happening during your stay.

Things to Note:
There is a non-refundable $15 check-in fee, which is payable upon check-in. This covers your parking pass, gate keys, and wrist bands. You can feel safe knowing security is on site 24hrs.

Around the Neighborhood:
There are many great places to visit close by. Blackbeards would probably be my favorite place on North Beach. I recommend the seafood queso.
Smoke previously known as Fajitaville, is a very cool beach restaurant/bar. They have volleyball, cornhole, and other fun games for the whole family.
The USS Lexington is a short walk from the condos and the aquarium is just a little bit further. You could walk it but I’d recommend a car or bicycles if you have kids. There’s also scooters available to rent.
Across the Harbor bridge on your right you’ll find Whataburger Field where you can go watch the Hooks play some baseball and also Hurricane Alley Waterpark.
Downtown is only about 5 mins away. There are many restaurants, bars, parks and sites to see. Some of my favorites are Water Street Oyster Bar, Crawdaddy’s, Dokyo Dauntaun, Executive Surf Club, and Republic of Texas Bar and Grill.
Night life I’d recommend The Point on Tuesdays for karaoke, Rockits, Goldfish and Bus are also some local favorite bars

Our weekend getaway to Corpus Christi at “Just Beachy” was the perfect relaxing trip needed before meeting up with extended family nearby, for our Nephews graduation trip. The condo provided ample space for four individuals to maneuver and not feel crowded. Several beach themed decorations were noted throughout the condo that set the tone for a calming and welcoming vibe. The ocean views from the balcony created a serene atmosphere. The close proximity of the beach access from the condo was convenient and elevated our overall experience. The condo was close to several attractions, including the USS Lexington (our group thoroughly enjoyed) along with several restaurants and bars located right on the beach. The host was very responsive to any questions presented prior to our stay, which was appreciated. Would highly recommend booking a stay with “Just Beachy”.

Weekend stay

We enjoyed our 2 day stay in Corpus Christi our condo was clean, cool and relaxing. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. We will definitely visit again!

I liked the property. It was just the construction going on and I got a screw in my tire from there. Price was reasonable. But hopefully when construction gets done, it will be better. Elevators didn't work and as an elderly person I really needed them . Thank goodness for my daughter and grandchild. But thank you and I will go back one day.

Our stay at the condo

Our stay was good overall, we didn’t spend much time in the condo other than to sleep, but we also didn’t spend much time at the beach because it was covered in jelly fish at the time. We ended up driving to Rockport for our beach time. The condo was great for our short term two night stay, but I will say, the amount of people this place sleeps may not be accurate for everyone. It was VERY small, and I would say it can sleep 3 comfortably IF one sleeps on the couch. The bunk beds are VERY small, and we’re very hard. My 4 year old enjoyed it, but it was nearly impossible for me to fit on the bunk bed comfortably at all. They are the size of RV bunks. But perfect for children…not adults. I ended up sleeping on the floor as it was more comfortable. Just an FYI. The area also could use some work…yes the condos are in a gated and secure-ish spot, but I noticed people holding the gate from the beach open for others and there is no way to regulate who comes in and out if that’s the case. Experienced a few sketchy moments in the parking lot. This part of Corpus Christi was not my favorite though overall regarding cleanliness and feeling safe. There were also a ton of renovations/repairs/construction going on at the building.

Cute bungalow

Cute and homey place. I’d recommend for a couple. The bunk beds are a cute addition, but were not really comfortable for my boys (8, 11yrs). If they said the beds were hard, I’d imagine an adult would have much less an enjoyable experience sleeping on them. Other than the bunk beds, the place was great! All the amenities you need are provided. We weren’t able to go down to the beach in our short stay but the heated pool was clean and my boys had fun. Amber was very quick to respond to text messages for any questions I had. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly.

On the Beach

The condo was exactly as portrayed on the listing. Right on the beach, lots of shells to be found and an excellent walking path. Close to fun activities such as the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium. Villa del Sol itself was in rough shape but was also under construction the entire time we were there. The elevator to our condo did not work the majority of our stay, and the "heated pool and hot tub" were not heated.

Family Fun

Excellent location for a short walk to the beach - kids were excited to play in the sand. The room is clean and enough room space for my family. The owner was gracious and allowed us to check-in an hour early, when I asked.

Wonderful family location!

It was a lovely stay. The condo was everything it promised- it was clean with comfortable beds, necessary amenities were all available and the beach was very nice. We were within easy distance of the Lexington and the Aquarium and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. I was nervous about the appearance of the facility. The complex shows its age but it is under renovation. I also noticed that there were maintenance people hard at work all day, doing their best to keep the facility clean and safe.

Close to the beach

The condo was easy to find and the check in process was quick and easy. The room was newly updated and very clean. All the necessities were available, clean towels and fresh linens. There was even coffee available. Amber was very responsive and helpful. The beds were very comfortable as well.

The condo was the perfect size for the 2 of us. The beach was in our back yard and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check in was a breeze and communication with the host was prompt and pleasant.
