Cozy for two.

It is a cute little condo and we had a great time. I would recommend since there is no washer dryer that maybe beach chair set up could be included to add a little extra.

They had a lot of stains on both of the couches and the handle to the shower was broken and would come off if you were not careful.

Our stay at Sandpiper Cove

Very nice property, property manager were very nice and they were attentive to our questions. The only thing is that we cannot accès the beach with our dog, that should be stated when we rent the property.

Best spot to vacation!

Our stay was AMAZING! The complex is located in the heart of everything. Anything you could need is just a few minute drive away. The unit was gorgeous, just as beautiful as the pictures portrayed. The beach access was extremely convenient and the chair rental was super affordable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversary ❤️

Very nice gated condo setup. Security was great as well. Very friendly!

Over all great experience! We are going to book again. Had couple issues with condo, but when I told them about it, they were right on top of it. Very nice place to stay and plenty to do. Tight security and it was awesome to know that your stay was safe! Highly recommend for family vacation! Very reasonable price!

Review

We stay at Sandpiper every year (5x). Compared to other condominiums this one had a few unreliable kitchen appliances. I liked this room was right next to the pool and laundry room.

Overall for the price of a one bedroom it was disappointing. The refrigerator froze everything even on the bottom shelf. The air conditioner froze the living room however the bedroom never was cool. It stayed warm. The blinds in a few wi does were destroyed by a prior guest. I’m guessing their pet destroyed them. There is no type of Tupperware or storage type dishes for leftovers or to take to the beach.

Great location!!!

Everything was as expected except the toilet and mold on balcony rails. They both need to be replaced. The toliet would not flush good at all.

Destin Family Vacation 23

Very nice and clean. Great location and area near the beach. Could have used more washclothes as we only had 2. Laundry was pay per load which was not described to us prior. Wifi and network for internet and tv were poor. And the toilet did not flush well. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

Improper Damage Charge & Back of Complex Location

This condo is at the back of the complex - there was only one way in and out of the condo complex - so if you plan on walking to the beach, you have to walk all the way through the complex and cross a street to get to the beach. When we arrived, the doors to the front closet were off the hinges and leaning against the walls. There was also a piece of plastic on top of the refrigerator. We thought to email the rental company (Southern Vacation Rentals) about the closet doors but did not think to email them about the piece of plastic on top of the refrigerator. They never responded to the email about the closet doors. The day we checked out, they charged us $55 and claimed that we broken a piece off of the refrigerator and attached a photo of the plastic piece that had been on top of the refrigerator. When we called to contest the charge, they said that because they had proof (the picture) that we had broken it, they would not reimburse the charge. The did state that the day we checked in, they submitted a work order for the closet doors but did not communicate that with us in advance or attempt to fix it before we arrived. I will not be renting from this location or from Southern Vacation Rentals again.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that your stay fell short of expectations. We do list the beach access on our guest portal which also provides details in how to get to the location. I understand being charged for damages is unsettling and it looks like we did refund this charge back to you after determining that the cleaner failed to mention it breaking while she was cleaning it. We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of customer service and hope you have a chance to come back a redo the experience with us.
