The place was very clean but my son did see a roach crawl across his toothbrush both days. The back sliding door was missing the door handle, the track had a piece of wood in it to keep it closed and it was full of water and we kept getting bit by mosquitoes. We weren’t able to access the garage as the owner said the door was broken by the previous visitors and the new looking washing machine didn’t work and I ended up having to do laundry in the bathtub. The front yard had trash all over it when I got there that I cleaned up and the back yard had a broken chair, debris, and the landscaping needed attention. The pots/pans were well worn and need replacing. The oven temperature light was broken so you had to guess what temperature it was at. The fan in the master bedroom had been broken and didn’t work. The owner did call me back every time, even late at night during my stay, until I checked out early due to not being able to do laundry and the mosquitoes, then no longer responded. The house was decorated beautifully and there wasn’t a water spot to be found on the shower doors/walls. The neighbor was polite but there is a lot of street parking and the neighborhood is seeing wear when the development isn’t that old. I paid more because it looked beautiful in the listing and it was my birthday weekend but we only slept there and were gone the majority of the day, it just wasn’t what I thought I would get for the price.
