Beautiful Private Lakefront Cottage with Hot tub

Tucked away in the woods with its own private 5-acre lake this cottage allows for maximum privacy and relaxation. The views are incredible whether watching the sunrise over the water or stargazing at night. Enjoy the outdoor fire ring with comfortable seating for 6. Relax on the screened in porch under the cool breeze of the ceiling fans. Accommodations include stocked kitchen, twin bunk bedroom downstairs, upstairs private queen bedroom and upstairs multi bedroom with 2 queen beds. Living room also has a queen sleeper sofa and twin-size sleeper chair. Full bath with tub/Shower combo and vanity. Propane grill and starter firewood provided for our guests. This cabin accommodates a maximum of 9. Salt water hot tub on back deck overlooking the pond.
*Please note due to its secluded private nature this property gets limited cell service, but we do provide internet. During winter months 4-wheel drive may be necessary to access the property*

We had a great time staying here! Our stay was from Jan 1-3. Here are some tips for others who are considering this property:1) If you can help it, donā€™t arrive after dark. We werenā€™t able to get there until about 7pm and it is complete darkness out there. There are signs close to the ground that direct you to the house, but since it was snowing they were snow covered and we were crossing our fingers that we were going the right way. Thanks to the ownerā€™s instructions we made it, but it was a bit treacherous! 4wd is absolutely necessary if you plan on staying during iffy weather. 2) It did get extremely hot even upstairs and no matter what we set the thermostat at, it remained warm. Honestly pretty impressive for it being the dead of winter, but be prepared for that. 3) Prepare to cook and bring all your own necessitiesā€”coffee, cooking oil, etc. It takes about 30 min to get to where shops and restaurants are. But we planned for this, so it was no issue. Also, you may want to bring your own knives since the ones there were kind of dull.Other than those minor things, we kept saying how much we loved it and want to bring our kids over the summer. From the decor to the hot tub to the stunning viewsā€”everything was just perfect! It was so beautiful even in the winter, I canā€™t imagine how gorgeous it will be during the other seasons. Picturesque is the best word I can think of and even that doesnā€™t feel like it does this place justice. I cannot wait to stay again sometime!!!

Read the driving instructions before starting your drive.The space is gorgeous, the hot tub is relaxing, not a soul in the vicinity! So peaceful with breathtaking views! We had a very relaxing weekend.

This was a mother/daughter getaway. We wanted something private with beautiful views and this place did not disappoint. We loved it. The farmhouse was clean and cozy with plenty of sleeping space if you need it. We really appreciated the fire pit and hot tub.

It's beautiful. The kitchen has the necessary appliances, but the counter space is lacking. We didn't use the microwave at all; we would have preferred the extra space. However, it is a beautiful place albeit a bit hard to find.

This lakefront house was absolutely amazing! Extremely clean. Well taken care of and just an overall very enjoyable place to relax and kick back. The communication with the property owners was prompt and quick I highly recommend renting this location. Very very secluded with beautiful scenery!! I will be renting it more often

Beautiful Weekend Getaway

This entire property was absolutely well maintained, cleaned, well stocked & very cutely decorated. The entire house just made you feel ā€œat home.ā€The hot tub was well maintained & very relaxing. The water & the scenery was breathtaking. The kids kayaked (we brought ours), swam & fished (they caught a bunch).

Total seclusion! Peace, quiet and tranquility abound here. HAn old farmhouse that is updated with modern conveniences and farmhouse decor while keeping the house's historic charm intact. Host was very responsive to a couple questions I had before arrival.

Beautiful Ohio countryside

Our family had a wonderful stay here. Our 5 year old grandaughter said she wanted to live here! The house is charming, and also functional. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every morning and just listening to the birds. It was springtime and the chorus was wonderful. We also enjoyed taking walks, cooking in the farm kitchen, and the hot tub.

Perfect, Peaceful, and Beautiful!

Over the weekend my family and I stayed here! And let me tell you, pictures do not do this place justice! It is so beautiful and peaceful here! My fiance and 2 boys loved the lake for fishing! We went on trail walks, the nature, the sound of wildlife, even went and grabbed some dinner from the restaurant near by! This is exactly what we wanted! We did not want to leave!! But rest assured, we will be going back!!
