Excellent apartment with beautiful views
Our family of three spent a wonderful week in this well equipped spotlessly clean top floor apartment in one of the most beautiful areas of Bavaria. The interior photos of the apartment do not fully justify the apartment because it was much bigger and spacious than anticipated. We did not prepare any food but for someone who wants to cook the kitchen is very well equipped. A balcony leads from the kitchen with a nice view of mountains in the far distance. The balcony from the living room has a wonderful view over a green meadow with Fussen town and the mountains in the distance. It is peaceful sitting there and sipping a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the mountains. The bedrooms and the two bathrooms were spacious. The spa facility (indoor and outdoor pools both heated and the various saunas) at the hotel which is included with the accommodation is of a very high standard. It is open until 10 in the evening. There are nice walking/bicycle paths from the apartment along the Forggensee all the way to Fussen. The two famous castles of King Ludwig the 2nd are very near. The hotel reception gave us the names of a few restaurants in the area and we enjoyed especially the restaurant Gasthof Hirsch in the village of Hopferau and Fischerhutte in Hopfer am See. There are so many little towns in the surrounding area to visit that our week was way too short. Thank you Jurgen for the privilege to have stayed in your apartment I can recommend it to anyone.
