Nestled at the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, our lodge is a convenient 5-minute drive from town and offers a centralized location to the diverse array of spiritual centers. The Great Sand Dunes, nearby hot springs, hiking, and other outdoor activities await you.

The Purple Sage Lodge sits on over 1 acre with no neighbors on adjacent lots for a serene setting. Sip your morning coffee or tea (or both!?) on the front patio as the sun rises over Challenger Peak or the back deck overlooking the San Luis Valley. Enjoy a brisk cool evening sitting around the fire pit and patio heat lamp, roasting marshmallows or grilling your favorite food while being warm and toasty. A Keurig machine for those who want a single cup, and Cuisinart for larger parties compliment a well-supplied coffee and tea bar. Feel at home in our fully equipped kitchen, which includes spices and other basic staples for your culinary cooking delights. A water purification system is installed to allow purified water for healthy drinking and cooking. The living room offers a cozy and tight knit atmosphere with a corner wood fireplace, books to read, and board games to choose from.

The Blanca Overlook master suite is a uniquely geometric design with a private balcony that offers a stunning panoramic view of the San Luis Valley. Enjoy a restful night's sleep on a memory foam king-sized bed. The Sangre Sunrise is a charming room with a memory foam queen bed. Movie posters from some of the most iconic flicks dress out the walls of this spacious room. The Rocky Badger room has an adventurous feel. Looking east, you see Challenger Peak which rises a mighty 14,087 feet, one of the ten Sangre de Cristo "14ers". The room comes with a memory foam twin bed. Automotive art combines with Colorado's most photographed spots to dress the walls of the colorful Rocky Badger room. The futon in the living area converts into a queen sized bed to allow for additional sleeping.

Never miss your favorite team's sporting event or TV show as each room is fitted with a Smart TV. Direct TV is provided along with streaming service capabilities such as Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, etc. A private work space allows you to bring your work with you.
