3 BR 2 Bath Salt Air Retreat on Deep Water Canal Minutes to the Gulf

We use this house for friends and family so you will find it has all the amenities throughout. Three bedrooms to accommodate 6 people and a pull out sofa with powered air mattress for 2 more. Master with one King bed and en-suite bathroom. Two bedrooms with Queen beds share a full bath with tub and shower. The street is very quiet and has no through traffic. The canal out back has no through traffic either so the only boat traffic is from residents. I keep my boat on the lift so it is not available to tenants, but the floating dock is secure enough to tie up to if you don't mind your boat being in the water during your stay. There is power and water available on the dock. We do have 3 outdoor security cameras. One is focused on the boat & lift out back, one is covering the carport and one is located on the boat. You can see the listing pictures for an image of what areas are covered. The video storage device is on the property. Video is removed/deleted every 30 days. There are several restaurants and bars within a short bike ride or walking distance. Hudson Beach too is within walking distance. The main through roads in the neighborhood have sidewalks. Its a fantastic place to enjoy a quiet getaway.
I encourage you to look at the reviews from my guests and compare to reviews of other properties. The local sales tax on short term rentals is 12.00%. If you are looking at booking a property for less than 6 months I am required to charge you sales tax.
Homeaway/VRBO does charge a service charge to travelers who book online. Owners do not get any of this service charge or the Damage protection Insurance.
If your desired stay is for longer than 3 weeks please reach out for customized rates. There are some weekends that have higher rates and we may consider reducing them for the overlapping longer stays. If you are interested in dates more than 12 months in the future, please send a message with your desired dates. Also, please note the Ad may say an average price per night. This average comes from 7 night or longer stays. If your stay is less than 7 nights the rate is higher than the Average.

Great place to stay

Our family had a great stay in this house. The owner was especially attentive of our needs and the house was very clean. The house had almost everything you would need. I would recommend this pick as a stay.

Our favorite vacation property!

I believe this was our 3rd time staying here and it was just as wonderful as prior visits. Owner is extremely communicative and accommodating. The home is beautiful, located in a quiet neighborhood, with many thoughtful touches inside for guests’ comfort. We will continue to stay here whenever we can!

Saltwater stay

The property was clean and well stocked with beach items and the kitchen had everything we needed. The property was entirely accessible from front to back canel. Loved sitting on the canel side patio for meals!

Hudson Heaven

This house is everything you need. Completely remodeled on the inside and it is beautiful. Brand new kitchen, brand new dock, new grill, everything!! You will not be disappointed staying here. If you are boating this is the place to be. Minutes to the Gulf for fishing, sandbars, etc. Deep water canal so in and out anytime. No boat, pleanty of things to do nearby. Host is amazing! Quit looking and go ahead and book this house. Trust me, I have looked at all houses in this area and this is the best. We are already booked for next year. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Awesome place to stay !

We loved staying here , hated to leave. The house is comfortable, clean..beautiful location, right on the canal..loved having our coffee , looking out at the water...watching the ducks, egrets and daily visit from the Great Heron. The owner is super nice, and very accommodating..can't say enough about how great our stay was. They have top quality towels, pillows and bed sheets...soft..an added plus were the washer and dryer. Looking forward to our next stay.

Boaters Paradise

This is an amazing property. Boaters piece of heaven. 10 minutes you are in the Gulf. Host is amazing, there to help with anything we needed. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Can't wait to come back to this amazing property.

What a pleasant vacation... everything you needed from shampoo to shovels for kids to play.

Everything was beautiful from the very entrance and throughout the entire home . Everything you can think of is there for your needs. Definitely recommended!!! We will definitely go again as a family and as group of friends.

Spacious, clean, and hospitable

This was a great location for my family’s summer getaway. The house has plenty of room, it is impeccably clean, and the owner/manager is very responsive. The nearby beach was closed for swimming due to red tide, but the house is only about 45 mins to 1 hour away from Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon Beach, which were open and beautiful. I highly recommend this house for anyone visiting the Tampa area.

Family scalloping weekend

We had a great stay for a long weekend. The home was lovely and just right for our family. It was cozy and nautically decorated which was charming. Beds are comfy which is sometimes hard to find. Kitchen is super stocked which was nice. We really enjoyed the water view from the tv room. The owner is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We’ve stayed at a variety of places over the years and we would come back here again.

Absolutely amazing

We stayed over New Years weekend. Absolutely beautiful home! We sat on the dock and watched fireworks. Homeowner was very quick to address any questions that we had. This home absolutely felt like home away from home. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing Vacation Location

Salt Air Retreat is a wonderful facility. It has been completely renovated - with Brand new appliances, furniture (except for a couple of family antiques), cabinetry, etc. It was IMMACULATELY clean and refreshing, my wife is very fuzzy about cleanliness. Everything was fully equipped. Everything was very comfortable and refreshing. Kees is an amazing host - who could not have been more accommodating and helpful. I recommend everything about the home. Being about to sit out along the waterway was beautiful and restful. Especially great if you are a boater. HEARTILY recommend this for your next vacation,Dick Emmons

AWESOME!!!

My family and I spent a whole week at this property and loved every minute. The house has everything. So clean and relaxing. Sit out back and enjoy the peace and quiet. Grill is clean grounds are well maintained and love the shower. If you forget something I am sure it will be in this house. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Vacation in sunny Florida.

Home is exactly as advertised an even better. Owner Kees was prompt in answering all our questions. House was emasculate clean and keep to high standers!! We hope to return next year if available. Great spot, very close to the gulf

We really enjoyed this house. Very clean and well equipped. The ice machine was very convienent. The owner was very responsive and friendly throughout the rental process. The neighbor across the street gave us a great tip regarding 'redneck island' which was about 10 miles south from the end of the channel. It was a beautiful beach that you can anchor your boat up to. We spent a lot of time there. Local marina was helpful and friendly. Loved the area and location of this house!

Great Stay in Hudson

The house was very clean, was furnished very nicely and the owner was very responsive. The furniture and appliances were new or like new. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and pillows. The bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. We really enjoyed the bikes and 2 man kayak. Dock is in a deep water canal and just a few minutes away from the Hudson Beach. We'll be happy to rent again when staying in the Hudson area.

Exceptional Hosts

My family stayed at The Salty Retreat for Spring Break 2021 and had a wonderful time, despite the weather. The hosts made the trip!!! Their home was stocked with everything needed, as well as any extras you may not have thought of. It was cozy and super clean. The neighborhood is quiet and has several local good places to eat and we made a daily trip to a tasty ice cream shop. It is close enough to Clearwater and Tampa for sight seeing but far enough for some good old relaxing with a nice fire pit on the canal/ocean. We also kayaked at the "Salty Dog" Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park which was so absolutely beautiful. We would highly recommend this home and are hoping to come back.

I love to fish and have a 30 ft Grady White Marlin fishing boat on the lift behind the house. This property gives me what I considered one of the best locations for Gulf access of any other properties in the area. Convenient to get to the marina for gas or just get out quickly with very little idle time. The house is on a VERY quiet street with the best deep water canal in Sea Ranch.

My wife is what makes my property unique. She insists there always be nice Towels and Linens. When we stay at other VRBO properties the Kitchen cookware is almost always a disappointment. We make sure you wont be disappointed when you cook here.
