Located in Vernet-les-Bains, a pearl of the Pyrénées-Orientales, not far from a mountain path that leads directly to the Pic du Canigou and a 10-minute walk from the charming village center with its restaurants, shops, and market square. A multitude of activities await you in the surrounding area: Family-friendly: Animal park (5 minutes away); The Canalettes cave; The legendary Yellow Train, which will allow you to discover the region; The town of Villefranche boasts an exceptional heritage, spanning from the Middle Ages to the present day. Sports activities include: numerous hiking and horseback riding trails in the forests, suitable for beginners and professionals alike, and accessible to children; treetop adventure courses in Eus; and canyoning, available in both summer and winter thanks to natural hot springs. And finally, just an hour from the ski slopes. Relaxation: Thanks to the thermal baths in Vernet-les-Bains and the hot spring pools accessible to all ages in Saint-Thomas-les-Bains. The Marjolaine gîte is a detached house with two bedrooms: one with a 160x200cm double bed and the other with two 90x200cm single beds. It also features a shower room, an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, hob, extractor hood), and an utility room with a washing machine. Enjoy mountain views. You will have a parking space, a private terrace and garden. You will have access to the 16x6 meter saltwater swimming pool. Thanks to the numerous streams, rivers and forests, it remains very pleasant here even in hot weather. The nights are wonderfully cool thanks to the proximity of the Canigou peak.
