This idyllic 3BR/2BA alpine retreat boasts high ceilings and lots of cheerful natural light. Tucked among the pine trees at Pitkin Creek Condominiums, your rental provides access to the shared heated pool and hot tub.

Enjoy a prime location just steps from the in-town bus route, hiking trails, and bike paths. Drive 8 minutes to Vail or 20 minutes to Beaver Creek.

LIVING AREAS

Curl up next to the wood-burning fireplace on a cozy sofa and armchair in the living room. A rocking chair provides additional seating, and the 40” TV is equipped with Roku, cable, a DVD player, and surround sound.

KITCHEN & DINING

Whip up hearty home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, boasting granite countertops and a full suite of stainless steel appliances.

Sip morning coffee at the breakfast bar with seating for three, or gather around the four-person dining table.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This home includes two bedrooms plus a loft that sleep seven total. Two full bathrooms are stocked with complimentary starter supplies of toiletries and bath amenities.

The well-appointed master bedroom features a warm color palette and a queen-size bed. The en-suite master bathroom provides a beautifully tiled walk-in shower.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and double closet. A loft bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and a twin-size bed.

The second bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Step out to the balcony and take in the stunning mountain vistas while grilling burgers on the gas grill.

EXTRA AMENITIES & DETAILS

Guest amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi and an in-unit washer/dryer. Parking is provided for two vehicles (one reserved space and one unassigned spot).

Pitkin Creek Condominiums amenities include a heated outdoor pool and hot tub.

Please note that access to this unit is via several flights of stairs (39 steps total), and therefore may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

THE LOCATION

This prime East Vail location puts you just steps from the in-town bus route. Within walking distance are a number of beautiful hiking and bike trails, including the Gore Valley Trail.

Stocking up for family dinner is easy, with a grocery store next door.

Vail Ski Resort, one of the largest alpine resorts in the world with more than 5,200 acres of developed ski and snowboard terrain and seven legendary Back Bowls, is a 7-minute drive away, and Beaver Creek is just 20 minutes by car.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice clean property, but a few considerations before you book
The property was very nice and clean and a great location near the market and bus stops. A few things though to consider before you book. There are about 50-60 steps and a long pathway to get from the parking lot to the unit so hauling our stuff up was absolutely exhausting. It was advertised as having stairs but just know it is a significant challenge for anyone who can’t handle a lot of stairs. Also it is advertised as 3 bedrooms but it is actually two bedrooms and a loft with two beds that is not separated off with a wall, so open to the living area. Whoever is in that room will hear the noise from the rest of the condo. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows on the beds were not good, cheap and very little stuffing, so none of us slept very well. Also it advertised there is a community hot tub and pool. The pool was full of green dirty water and the hot tub was barely luke warm like bath water. It was unusable as it was not warm and attached to the pool with filthy water. I was disappointed in this because I chose this condo over others because it said it had a useful community hot tub. The kitchen was stocked appropriately with pots, pans, etc so we cooked there but the kitchen layout is awkward and only one person can be working in the kitchen at a time. Otherwise the place was very clean and it was an ok place to stay for our family trip. I don’t think I’d stay there again because of the reasons listed above.

Solid Option But A Few Things to Know
We just got home from a great Vail ski vacation. First the pros. This condo was clean and well maintained. The photos provide an accurate representation. The kitchen was well-equipped with more supplies than most vacation homes. The family room / dining room was large enough for the 6 of us to eat comfortably, watch TV, and play board games at night (we used our own but many were also available on-site). The bathrooms were clean and nicely finished. Some other nice features which we didn't use were a wood-burning fireplace as well as a multi-device charging station. We had two disappointments. First, the listing advertises the unit as "just steps away" from the bus stop. This is a bit deceiving, as it is actually .2 miles away (per Google maps). For some that might not be far, but I felt it necessary to clarify this. Making the walk each day, in ski boots carrying our gear, on a road that for us at least was icy (especially the hill leading out of the complex), just wasn't what we were expecting. Second, most vacation homes these days have a "welcome kit", with guidance on the area. This unit did not. We had no idea how the transportation system worked, where the bus stop was, where the hot tub was, where to take the trash, etc. Some simple info here is needed. FYI - to get to Vail, use either the Pitkin Creek or Lupine stops, and take the East Vail bus to the Vail Transportation center (~15 minute ride). With better info we could have given 5 stars.

Comfortable top floor condo
We enjoyed this comfortable top floor condo. Great views of the area from the balcony and windows. Very nice furnishings, wood burning fireplace and firewood provided. Well stocked kitchen. We used the free Town of Vail bus to get to and from Vail Village, the bus came every 15 minutes which was very convenient. Great value to stay close to Vail. Would stay here again!

Good value, spacious living space, great kitchen
We like top floor condos so we don't have to hear anyone above us :-). This top floor condo is very spacious, great amount of room in the living room and dining area, nice breakfast bar counter with stools on the kitchen. Bedrooms are decent sized, plus an open Loft area was great for kids (adults could stay up there too). We were able to walk to the free Town of Bus stop to get to and from town, there's a market on site that is convenient. Nice wood fireplace, wood was provided, WiFi worked great. Would stay here again!
