Welcome to the “BLUE HERONPSJ.com” a brand new and impeccably furnished home with a goin’ coastal vibe.



This home has four bedrooms and three full baths which will accommodate nine guests comfortably. The supersized king master has an “office” area for those who choose to combine work and pleasure during their stay. The master also has a private bath with a double vanity, large shower and walk in closet. Three of the four spacious bedrooms are located upstairs while one of the bedrooms and full bath are located on the main level. This makes it possible for those who are unable to climb stairs to participate in all the family time activities. We are including a GOLF CART with our rental at check in with appropriate waivers and responsibilities form being signed off on. There are also bikes at the property for your use at no cost.



Two screened porches allow you to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise in privacy, if you get up that early. Then in the evening make your way to the front porch to enjoy your favorite beverage while sitting on the comfy couch on the front of the home. Taking in the peace and serenity of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. The home offers plenty of room for quiet spaces to watch tv and nap, or hang out together in the large open living room attached to the kitchen area. Speaking of kitchen area this new home has all brand new stainless steel appliances, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything even the most discriminating chefs would want to be able to prepare awesome meals at home. Everything has been thought of even a crockpot.



This home is located in a community called WindMark which is a five minute drive to downtown Port St Joe so you can enjoy shopping and dining. Door to shore is a leisurely five minute stroll on one of the charming boardwalks where you will find the squeaky powder white sand on this amazing pristine beach where shell hunting is awesome. There is wildlife everywhere including those Blue Herons. The community boasts an amazing community pool, miles of bike/walking paths which are blocked to cars, and a city center with restaurants, salon, gym, and sundry store.

Great Vacation!

The house was spacious and the community was great for our vacation. The golf cart made the bay and pool very accessible during the week and we loved having that as part of the rental! The amenities of the community were wonderful. The pool was a great size and having access to the restaurants on the property was so nice! It was a fabulous vacation and will definitely be on our list to revisit!!

The house had everything we wanted. A few of the bikes weren’t working when we arrived but David resolved the issue quickly. Stay here!

Wonderful house, wonderful owner!

Absolutely beautiful home in Windmark Beach. Has everything you need for your family beach trip. The golf cart is a major plus and one of the reasons we chose this house. Makes getting around WMB so quick and easy. David truly goes above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. I book beach houses regularly for work and for pleasure and David has by far been the best host I’ve encountered! I highly recommend the Blue Heron for your next rental!

Hidden Gem

We are a family of five from Nashville who headed down for Spring Break. This was our 2nd time staying in the Windmark Beach community and we're already thinking about our next trip down. The Blue Herron house was awesome - it was immaculately clean and had all the amenities we look for when we go on vacation. Having access to the golf cart was a huge added benefit. David (the owner) was a great host - in constant communication asking if we had everything we needed and giving us some hints about where to go and what to do while in the area and I can't recommend Blue Herron enough. Bruno's Pizza and Mercantile Market was open this time around and they are both great additions to the community (which include The View on Old 98 and the community pool). A part of me wants to hold back on all my praise for Windmark Beach and Blue Herron specifically to keep it our little secret :) But I know the word will get out anyway so I'm happy to leave a very positive review and can't wait to get back.

Spring Break Stay

We had 4 adults, 2 kids, and 1 baby for the week stay in WMB. The weather ranged from high 40s to high 70s. The photos don’t do the house Justice, it was a gorgeous property and had everything we needed. We did run into a little snafu regarding the pool as it was listed as an included amenity but we found it was closed due to repairs. I reached out to David who quickly responded and did some digging of his own. Apparently the community closed the pool & playground area due to repairs and didn’t notify the residents. This was a set back for us because sometimes it’s easier to take kids over to the pool vs the beach. However, we understand things happen and David brought over a gift card for the local pizza place…which we loved! We used the golf cart EVERY DAY. Besides the golf cart, the coffee maker and washer & dryer got the most attention so I was relieved to find they were great appliances and could withstand the use from our group. The area of Windmark Beach is really cute and we love downtown St. Joe. Everything you need is close by and even Apalachicola is only 30 min away. David was a great host and sent us local activities throughout our stay. I would highly recommend him as a host and his property. Thanks for a great week!

Weekend get away

This home is beautiful. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived til we left. The owners were only a phone call away if needed. Love the community it is positioned. Had a great time with family.

Not only did we buy a home that weekend, but we moved here 60 days later. We love WindMark, and wanted to have others enjoy this special going coastal place as we do. Less than two years after finding "someday" the BlueHeronPSJ.com flew into our lives, and it was totally unexpected. We hope you enjoy your stay at the BlueHeronPSJ.com and we strive to make certain that your experience is first rate. We live in the community, if there is anything we can do to make your stay the "best vacation ever" please reach out and we will give it our best shot.

The BlueHeronPSJ.com is about 400 steps door to shore, the miles of walking, biking, and golf cart riding trails are awesome. The house itself is comes with your starter set of dish soap, dishwasher soap, TP, make up remover wipes, and paper towels to get you going when you get in the house. We have tried to think of everything our guests might want; hair dryers, iron, full size washer/dryer, multiple coffee makers, crock pot, serving utensils platters, dishes, microwave, stove, large side by side fridge, BBQ/BBQ utensils, luxurious sheets, luxurious towels, TVs in every room, and more on the way. The WindMark downtown is walking distance, and the Port St Joe Downtown is 3.5 miles by car. Enjoy the goin' coastal cillaxin' vibe that the BlueHeronPSJ.com has to offer.....sea-u-soon!
