Indoor pool. On the Lake and a mile from Granite Peak Ski Hill!! This lovely Lake Wausau home is situated on 1.66 acre lot with over 173 feet of water frontage for your to enjoy! Your morning view of the lake from the owner's suite will be breathtaking, no matter what time of year it is. You will enjoy spending time in the updated kitchen with granite counters, plenty of cabinet space and high-end appliances, all overlooking the lake. Family room with wet bar and fireplace is a great entertainment area! There is a gas fireplace in the formal dining room with large windows overlooking the water. This 5-bedroom home has over 3200 sq feet and a wonderful layout with two bedrooms each having an attached bath. Heated floor, hardwood floors, lighthouse style sky light, vaulted ceilings and an indoor swimming pool!! You can swim in the lake in the summer and pool in the winter! Water toys are provided! Bring your boat, kayak, jet skis, fishing pole or whatever you enjoy and play all day!!

During winter, bring your skis, as Granite Peak is about a mile away!!

Our whole family of 15 (ages 3-70!) enjoyed our "second annual" fabulous stay at this beautiful home! Everything about it was perfect, and we all thoroughly enjoyed every aspect that this property offers! Also, the owners are very responsive and extremely accommodating, which adds so much to the enjoyment of our family vacation. The memories made here are blessings that will never be forgotten!!

Wonderful Stay in Wausau

Perfect weekend getaway for a larger group of people with kids! Plenty of space to spread out and a wonderful heated indoor pool! Comfy beds with a TV in almost every room and very kid friendly. Host was incredibly communicative.

Great place to stay with a large group

Stayed here with 15 friends for a ski trip. Only a 10 minute drive to Granite Peak. Jennifer was very responsive and made our stay very easy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it!

Creating memories!

Our entire family of 16 (ranging in ages from 2 to 69) spent 5 days at this wonderful Lake House! It could not have been more perfect! The owners are very communicative, accommodating, and helpful. We all loved every minute of it!

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The process to access the property was very easy and the pool was warm and enjoyable as we arrived. The owners were easy to get ahold of. If we needed anything they answered back within 10 minutes or less. We loved everything that this property had to offer. The house was clean and ready to go. Plenty of extra pantry staples, huge refrigerator, lots of towels, pots, pans, extra games, toys for the kids, this house had it all. We would recommend this place to our friends and family and look forward to coming back.

Beautiful lake house and great for big groups

We booked this rental for a bachelorette party and it was the perfect place to have our event. So much to do between the pool and lake and all the outdoor fun! Jennifer was very communicative and made sure we had what we needed for the weekend. She even allowed us to check in early to set up/decorate our party which was so nice! There were no clean towels when we got there and the beds were mostly full size instead of queens but Jennifer was very accommodating and apologetic with the few small things that we noticed within the house. All together we truly enjoyed our stay and would come again. The property is beautiful and we all had a blast!

Fantastic ski vrbo

The home is just beautiful with an indoor pool and room for our 5 teenagers. Granite peak is just about 5 minutes away. And wish restaurant is about 10 minutes. The home has ample thermostats to keep the different zones at just the right temperature. The 3.5 baths are more than enough and the kitchen layout allowed for family dinners and baking as well. When we arrived the lake was frozen solid and then when we left only the shoreline was frozen. The last day we got about 4 inches fo show which Provided a Hall mark goodbye. Starbucks and Walmart are only about 3 minutes away. The house is on a isolated road and we never heard any traffic. Just a great home.

Let down

This was a splurge that didn't live up to the expectations. The pool was not clean, there was algae on the sides. Some rooms advertised queens were double/Full and my husband and I ended up sleeping in separate rooms to be comfortable. There was trash in some of the cans when we arrived, and used chewing gum on a closet shelf. The front door knob was tricky and we were informed that we could not lock the door when we left the premises. Also, not a big deal, but Granite Peak is not a mile away. It is still a nice house overall and if it was not price gouging we would consider it.

We truly want to apologize for your experience. We wish you had contacted us during your stay so we could have made this right and had the cleaning company come back over. Great time!

We had a wonderful time and the owners were so very nice. We felt comfortable and used every single spot in the house. Was perfect for different ages to have their own places to hang out but yet great gathering areas to all be together. Beautiful master bedroom and great front deck! The kids loved the pool! Big yard for activities - they provided bags, bikes, and basketball and we brought a badminton set. And we had lots of fun times at the lake front! It was beautiful! The owners were very accommodating and sharing with fun things to do and use. We hung out there a lot! This didn’t stop us from a great time but it is noisy with interstate, airport and town nearby. We all came from very quiet areas. And the hot tub was not usable but didn’t miss or need it! There was no ice but lots of room to buy some and put in the freezer. There were two refrigerators which was very nice but neither ice maker worked. Rib Mountain and the trails were fabulous and near by. We also went to Pinewood Supper Club which was so very nice. And golf courses near by were enjoyed ,too! We had a great time.

TFWF 2023

Evaluation for TFWF House July 2023 The weekend at the Leske’s was exciting and adventurous made possible by the beautiful river setting, the decks and interior decorative surroundings. There was adequate kitchen equipment for us to prepare meals for 20 people. The living/social area furnishings were sufficient. The ensuite was done exceptionally well especially because of the river view. The pool was a wonderful asset. We were surprised at the amount and variety of the water “toys” available for use. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor “toys” to use as well. The kids bedroom was too crowded. We suggest it have no more than two twin bunk beds. The same for bedroom one with two queen beds. One queen or king would be more comfortable. The two rooms on the lowest level were not supplied with air conditioning. On the hot nights they were uncomfortable so windows had to be opened for ventilation. Jennifer and Kevin responded quickly to our many inquiries to help make our stay as pleasant as possible. All in all, our family enjoyed the time with each other and made do with the facility.

Great place to hang!

Plenty of space and things to do. Proximity to Lake was awesome, and the indoor pool was a nice bonus to keep the fun going when mosquitos got bad. AC was on the fritz but Owners got a repair technician out there as fast as possible and communicated to me well. All in all a really great experience and I would definitely book this place again.

A wonderful lake house

I can't recommend this place enough. There's tons to do indoors and outdoors, so you're good to go no matter the weather. We had an amazing stay.
