Newly installed 50amp, 220V electric car charging plug for overnight charging. Please bring your own cables. Please set your car to 32 amps or less before plugging in. This is still plenty to charge your car overnight.

Whether you choose to spend days skiing at Bryce Resort, hiking in Shenandoah Valley, or watching a Dukes game at JMU, you are sure to have an unforgettable stay! Just a short drive to the JMU Mineral Museum featuring the World Renowned Peter Via Collection.

Maximum occupancy 10 people including all ages. (NOTE: this does not match the House Rules section but I do not know how to change that section)

Due to COVID we have changed our check in time to 5pm to accommodate the requirement of at least 30 hours in between guests, if no guests have been in the property during the prior day than check in can be 3pm.

Prior to your arrival, you will be reached out to by Dee to obtain check-in instructions, including rental agreement and guest list and other informative information.


We suggest getting rental damage insurance so as to have maximum protection against accidents.

Great views

Property was awesome. Great views of the mountain. Outside bins didn't get picked up and were full on arrival but host provided an adequate alternative.Place was clean.

Fantastic place!

We had an absolutely amazing time in the house. Location couldn’t be more perfect, the house was comfortable and well setup, and all the procedures to check in and leave were simple and well communicated. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful views

Very nice house with a great view of the valley. Very quiet street. Although technically not on a cul de sac there wasn’t a single car that went by for 4 days. Very well equipped.

Great mountain getaway

Loved the house! Lots of space, beautiful deck to hang out on overlooking Bryce and a brand new gas grill. Kids loved the jacuzzi tub. Owner was very responsive and allowed us to check in early.

Ski weekend

Great location close to Bryce Ski Resort with a view of all the slopes. We had a great time skiing and tubing with our teenagers all weekend and watched the fireworks display Saturday night from the comfort of the house.

Magnificent Views

We all had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The views are magnificent! of the ski slopes and resort. Perfect place to view the fireworks! Dee is the best to work with. Thank you for a great family gathering!

Fall weekend

My family had a wonderful time at Dee’s home! We came to visit the Shenandoah Valley which is about an hour from the house. The home was cozy and everything was as described. Dee was very responsive and everything was great.

The view lived up to its name

We rented majestic view for the Fourth ofJuly weekend. I can’t imagine a better place to watch fireworks or a nicer display of fireworks. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was set up nicely except that a sleeper sofa on the main floor would have come in handy since there’s no bedroom on that floor. We all enjoyed the games and game room and the upper and poser decks were definitely a plus. It was a good time.

Wonderful stay!

We had such a great weekend at this house. The house is literally overlooking the slopes at Bryce. You can sip some wine or coffee on the couch and look out onto the slopes/mountain. There is a jacuzzi, which is lovely after skiing. The house felt spacious yet cozy at the same time. Lots of TVs. Everything was clean and in good condition. Beds were comfortable. Be aware that the bedroom with two twin beds is in a loft overlooking the living room, which means it's not ideal for little kids or if you want privacy. But it worked out great for us. We hope to be back!!

Overall enjoyable stay, but expected better from description & previouse reviews.

Our Thanksgiving vacation get together at this house was a pleasant one. However, recommend owner works with her property manager/cleaning crew to ensure the property is better cleaned and maintained. During walk through the place was "relatively" clean, but definitely expected better from past reviews. We had to wipe down/sanitize the kitchen, refrigerator and bathrooms (including cleaning hair out of showers), & pass a vacuum to pick up dead bugs/debris. We contacted the owner about "towels" because we only found 12-regular sized towels. The owned replied "doubted she could get anyone to bring us more because of the holiday, but you're welcome to use the washer/dryer". Understandable for Thanksgiving, but she didn't do anything the remaining days, and we weren't happy w/that response. Didn't go on vacation to wash towels every day. Pros: Delightful views throughout the house; Beds were comfortable; easy in/out with keypad locks/security; great location in resort; kitchen adequately furnished, but could use more/better cooking utensils Cons: Was NOT "COVID" clean/sanitized; kitchen countertops, sink, microwave and stove all needed to be wiped down refrigerator was dirty and needed to be cleaned; 2-main bathrooms needed wiping down and hair removed from both showers; towels DEFINITELY not enough for the number of guests; rooms needed a vacuum passed (dead bugs, etc); master bedroom comforter had stains; only 3-bedrooms (2x Queen beds. 1 w/double-set of bunk beds). Other "bedroom" is a loft with 2-single beds and a sofa sleeper, and downstairs in the "play room/den" was another sofa sleeper that we feared using due to the looks of its age; trash bin/cage too small for amount of trash from 12 people after 4-days, and no idea on where to take the excess trash but in our vehicles; bathrooms in need of renovation. One bathroom can be used at a time or other will be without water pressure. Owner contacted us 3-days post checkout to ask about “scratches and burnt foil” in the bottom oven. I explained we only used the bottom oven to heat a pumpkin pie and did NOT use any foil in either oven. She replied with “My cleaners say it was not like that when you arrived...I can only equate this damage to something you all did.” I replied “we only used the ovens on Thanksgiving as previously mentioned. I went on to tell her about the cleaning we had to do (mentioned above) and that “…I'm wary of the cleaner's comments/attention to detail on this one

Golf at Bryce Resort

IT is what we expected, a few hiccups but nothing that would disrupt our stay. Because of our age one of our guy's slept on the couch which we thought was a futon because getting to a top bunk up and down in the middle of the night would not have worked. Overall we enjoyed our stay the weather did not cooperate but we managed to play double rounds on the nice days. Thanks Dee for letting us use your place. Cheers Bob

Nice summer getaway!

We spent a week at this house which was exactly as advertised, and the accommodations for our family were perfect. Our goal was to unwind and relax, which we able to accomplish. We did day trips to places around the area and lots of walking. Thanks for making our summer getaway enjoyable.

Spectacular Views and Location

Lovely home and location central to the lodge and activities. Property owner was prompt and responsive with questions and requests. House nicely stocked and had instructions on how to use (and not use) just about everything in the house. Will definately be back!

Beautiful Location

We were very happy with the property, it was beautiful, clean, and just as it was described in the listing. We could not have been happier! Small downfall, there were no washcloths, we had to leave in the middle of a snow storm to drive the 30 minutes for washcloths. I was ok with the fact that there were none but it would have been wonderful to know ahead of time and I would have brought them. We did "donate" a new pack for the next guest. We will definitely be returning.
