Our spacious vacation rental is located in the heart of the Allgäu region, offering stunning views of the mountains and lake, between the cities of Kempten and Immenstadt, 1.5 km from “Niedersonthofener See.” A circular hiking trail about ten km long runs along its shore.<br>The apartment is located in the heart of the countryside (car required) in a quiet setting surrounded by stunning natural beauty; at the same time, however, you can reach the center of Kempten in just 10 minutes by car if you’re looking for more variety.<br><br>Our beautiful attic apartment consists of:<br>- 2 separate bedrooms: <br> 1st bedroom: 1 double bed <br> 2nd bedroom: 1 double bed and 1 single bed <br>- a large living room (satellite TV, radio/CD player, DVD player, a small selection of books and games) <br>- a spacious, fully equipped kitchen (filter coffee maker, Senseo pod machine, electric kettle, microwave, stove, dishwasher, small freezer compartment, refrigerator)<br>- a large bathroom with a built-in toilet, shower, bathtub, and 2 sinks<br>- 1 outdoor parking space for 1 car<br><br>Our complimentary welcome package for you includes:<br>complete bedding, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per person,, hair dryer, soap, dish soap, dish towel, 1 roll of toilet paper, 2 dishwasher tablets <br><br>A small covered outdoor seating area is available for all guests of the house (2 vacation apartments) for smoking, barbecuing, and socializing. There is also a small outdoor seating area for those who want to enjoy the sun a bit. <br><br>Numerous excursion destinations are easily accessible by car from here: Kempten (the oldest documented city in Germany), Neuschwanstein Castle in Füssen and Hohenschwangau; Oberstdorf with its ski jump and the Nebelhorn; Lake Constance with the well-known towns of Lindau and Konstanz; and Munich.<br>There’s plenty to do for our youngest guests as well: Ravensburger Spieleland, Skylinepark, Legoland Günzburg <br><br>In the summer, there are plenty of lakes for swimming (it’s no coincidence that our Allgäu region has been dubbed the “Land of Lakes”); wonderful hiking and mountain trails invite you to hike, exercise, or simply relax at a leisurely pace. <br><br>In winter, there are numerous ski resorts to choose from, such as Nebelhorn, Fellhorn, Jungholz, Eschach, etc. The larger ski resorts toward Oberstdorf are easily accessible in 40 minutes by car, while smaller resorts like Eschach are just 20 minutes away. <br><br>Locally, you can get fresh cow’s milk from the farmer’s cows, which are still allowed to graze daily in the pastures during the summer.<br><br>Please note:<br>- Wi-Fi is available but subject to a fee; laundry service (available through the landlord) is available for a fee.
