Welcome to the Waterfall Cabin, your peaceful and scenic mountain retreat located just 10 minutes away from Bass Lake, 5 minutes from downtown Oakhurst, and 20 minutes from Yosemite National Park. Our newly remodeled cabin offers stunning mountain views and a breathtaking waterfall visible from the property.

The cabin is a spacious and solar-powered space perfect for families, friends, and groups. You'll enjoy the cozy open living room with comfortable seating and a smart TV, while the bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, smart TVs, and plenty of storage. The multiple bathrooms feature all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Our cabin also offers kid-friendly amenities such as dinnerware, a high chair, booster seat, pack and play, baby bathtub, kids' books, and games. The game room is a large private space with a regulation size pool table, ping-pong table, bar, big-screen TV, and photo booth.

Step outside to the backyard patio and enjoy stunning mountain views while relaxing in the brand-new hot tub. The patio also features a gas-powered BBQ perfect for cooking up a delicious meal. The ample parking space makes it easy for you to arrive and depart with ease.

The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, with friendly neighbors and plenty of privacy. There are several small businesses and restaurants within a short drive of the cabin, including a grocery store, pharmacy, and post office. Yosemite National Park offers breathtaking natural wonders, including waterfalls, granite cliffs, and giant sequoia trees.

Please note that smoking, parties, and unregistered guests are not allowed. A daily housekeeping service is available for an additional fee. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at our property.

Great location and lots to do!

The Waterfall Cabin was perfectly located for everything we needed to prep for Yosmemite and the south entrance of the park itself. The hosts were very prompt at answering messages and the place was clean and had everything we needed and more!

The hosts were communicative and quick to respond, which we really appreciated. The house has a great location near Yosemite’s South Gate, and our kids loved spending time in the game room and backyard. That said, a few things made our stay less comfortable than we’d hoped. The couches were quite worn and sank in deeply, and the mattresses were very springy — none of us slept well during the trip. The automatic trash can lid didn’t work, and overall, the furniture could use a refresh.We were also surprised to find a long list of checkout tasks, including taking out all the trash and starting a load of laundry. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and haven’t seen such an extensive list before. With a few updates and a lighter checkout process, this place could be a much more relaxing stay.

Great stay!!

House was beautiful! Very clean, private, hot tub was great. We had issues with the grill not working. Some items that were listed in the welcome guide as being provided were not actually provided, or there was very limited quantity - like coffee and shampoo, conditioner, body wash.

the house is out of the way and is charmingly decorated. However, there were a few problems. The dishwasher racks were melted, bent and missing pieces and it was not in good condition. The game room had mouse feces on the books and shelves. Although the description reads 30 mins to Yosemite, although technically accurate, if you want to get to the hiking trails you are 1 1/2 hours away from the visitor center that gives you access to the trails. The pillows on the beds were flat and the beds were very hard. I was disappointed that what I had paid and hoped for to be a magical experience and stay was very disappointing. The hosts were very gracious in their communications, but I felt very misled and the mice droppings in the game room were all over the shelves and had not been cleaned any time recently.

Waterfall cabin is awesome

We loved this place. Very relaxing location. Close to Yosemite. Spacious and clean n comfy. Fun game room and plenty of places to sit, picnic and enjoy nature. Great communication with hosts. Will definitely come back when I come to town l loved the special touches like sound machine and bed that firms or softens.

Perfect cabin getaway

Location of the property is great. View was amazing, you are able to see the waterfall from the front porch. Plenty space to park, possible up to 3 cars. The game room was great! Ping pong table, pool table and board games are available. House was very spacious and clean. We loved our stay here. Alsp, great communication from the host since the beginninv all the way to the end of our stay.

We WILL be back!

There was not a thing we would change about our stay. Our 4 year old and our 15 year old loved the games room, the toys, and the big rooms. Plenty of space for a large group and our stay was just amazing. Fully stocked kitchen and great bedrooms. A beautiful home and we highly recommend if your visiting Bass Lake. Close to everything. We really will be back!

Prior to my vacation I reached out to the host to see if some of the negative reviews had any truth to them, or if those issues had been fixed. The host assured me everything was in working condition and they couldnt wait for us to come. When we arrived we found issues immediately and trust me I didnt want to as I was really wanting to focus on having fun with my family. I reached out to see if we could get them fixed and enjoy our trip. There was little to no response from the host and when they did respond it had nothing to do with my requests. To start almost all the gaming equipment was broken- pool sticks cracked, ping pong balls dented, karaoke machine didnt work at all. We actually bought new ping pong balls for the property. One of the pull out beds was broken and our family member had to sleep on a mattress, on the floor our whole stay. One of the rooms the bathroom door didnt close so you couldnt shut it for privacy. Cabinet knobs came right out when you tried to open them. A majority of the kitchen equipment is broken or rusted. The bathtub, which is being hidden in a picture by a shower curtain is awful and not something you would ever use to soak in. To top it off someone came into the property without our knowledge to fix a shampoo dispenser that was missing. This property is so poorly managed. It looks decent on the website but once you get there its a disappointment. I submitted pictures and videos to the hosts and requested a partial refund and was ignored.

Wish it was a better experience

I'll start with the positives: Location was great, private, and serene. AC worked wonderfully which we needed during the heat advisory. Game room was a nice bonus. Unfortunately, there were many negatives: Upon arrival we noticed the double queen bedroom's blinds wouldn't open or go up so I messaged the properly owner right away about a resolution. The next morning I got a templated message asking how our first night sleep was and to let them know if we need anything... YES how about a response to our first issue? By the next day we had noticed several other problems. The "fully equipped" kitchen was full of pans that were scratched/flaking non-stick residue, melted utensils, etc. The outside BBQ had an obvious fire before we got there and the grates would not stay in place (warped), so it was difficult to use and not safe. The property owner only told use we "probably" shouldn't use it, but we had no choice since we had food that needed to be BBQ'd that was planned ahead of time. We had 3 kids under 5 who needed to use the bath tub, but it was dirty, cracking, and not suitable for anyone wanting a bath. The floors were very dirty, and although we realize some of it was from us going in/out, it seemed like the floors had not seen a broom or mop in a long time. The property manager apologized for the issues but provided no solutions the ENTIRE 3-night stay. This place has a lot of potential but needs better property management/oversight.

Fabulous property

Waterfall Cabin was absolutely perfect. We were two families that shared the house for Thanksgiving. Everything was perfect. It's a delightful house, in a great location for launching to Yosemite, Bass Lake, and all of the surroundings, or just staying and playing in the game room.

Great stay

Our family had an enjoyable stay here. our favorite part was coming back to soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking at Yosemite Nat’l Park. The house was very roomy and clean. Definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect privacy

We loved this property and the privacy it offered. Morning coffee on the porch was the best - although family ping pong tournaments were a close second. Note that this is well water, so there is a smell with that. But the things within the owner's control are done well.

Great place for outdoor and indoor.

It was a nice quiet place if you wanted a getaway from the city. Our kids enjoyed the table tennis and pool table during our stay. And the hot tub is a plus for family members who can't do many outdoor activities. However, if you have disabled family members, I highly recommend communicating with the manager before booking to avoid any inconvenience during your stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great Cabin Getaway

Perfect family cabin with lots of amenities. Love the game room, jacuzzi and the 2 master suites. Would definitely consider staying there again with my family.
