Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway in the gated Ventana Vista community. Love to hike? We’ve got you covered. Sabino Canyon Recreational Area is right outside the complex. A short drive and you are at Ventana Canyon. Close to town but far enough to feel the vacation vibe. Beautifully appointed 3 bedroom 2 bath on the first floor with private patio and outdoor space. Split floor plan offers privacy for all. Condo has two dedicated work spaces with high speed WiFi. Enjoy a sparkling swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, pickleball, and gym. Pet upon approval. Easy check-in and out. No chores except removing food/food trash due to critters. Car charging station for use on property based on availability. You won’t be disappointed! (A 21415316). Northeast Tucson (Sabino Canyon)

The property was exactly as described - no surprises - and is very well appointed. The property owners obviously take very good care of their condo, and want guests to be comfortable and happy. Plenty of utensils for cooking/eating, beds were excellent, and the check-in/check-out processes were painless. Extremely enjoyable stay, and would definitely rent this condo again!

Hiking Heaven!

This beautiful home is located less than a mile from the Sabino Canyon Recreation area in a safe and secure gated complex. The home is very nicely appointed with comfortable furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, lots of high quality towels and bedding, and delightful decor throughout. We enjoyed morning coffee sitting in the office/den while watching the sunrise illuminate the nearby mountains as well as watching the sunset paint the private cactus garden while sitting on the covered patio at the end of a magical day of adventure at Sabino. Our hosts were wonderful. Great communication and superb attention to detail to insure that all aspects of our stay were exceptional.

Wonderful experience

Susan and Anthony showed their love of this place from the start with polite and careful screening of us and our small dog. We've been to this complex 3 times now because of its proximity to Sabino Canyon, its pool, tennis, pickleball and gym--and friendly neighbors. Their home has everything you could ever need and amply provided all the things some owners oddly skimp on--coffee, toilet paper, spices, soap, etc. They even had 4 tennis racquets and games and corn hole. And their patio is very private. Highly, highly recommend! Thanks, S&A!

Perfect Condo with Great Location

After having a very disappointing accommodation at another Tucson property we found Susan and Garth’s little slice of heaven. It’s located in a quiet and friendly gated community right in the heart of everything we wanted. Great supermarket (Basha’s), many good restaurants, outdoor opportunities for hiking, golfing (4 courses within 20 minutes), a community heated pool and hot tub, clubhouse with pool and ping pong tables, pickle ball and tennis courts. The condo was the best stocked of anywhere we’ve been with basic condiments, paper goods and laundry supplies. Awesome beds, fabulous towels (I got online and ordered a set for our own home!) multiple tv’s and games. Thanks for helping us have a great vacation and accommodating us at the last minute! We hope to be back next year.!

Sabina canyon condo

The condo came with a parking sport directly in front of the condo which was great. We were her first guests and I could tell the owners put a lot of thought into making sure guests have everything they could want/need. They have tvs in every room with Netflix which was a nice setup. The condo is fully stocked with kitchen items, towels, and even toys for small children. My only two concerns during our stay were: -that there were security cameras pointing inside the unit from the back door and front door. We kept the back blind shut most of the time for this reason. -there is a very large and not well trained dog that lives in the unit directly in front of the Vrbo unit. The owner was aware that I had small children and did a great job at keeping the dog away from my small children.

Elizabeth and her family were excellent guests! The security cameras covering exterior doors are pointed at the doors only and turned off when guests are in the building which we wish we could have explained to ease any concerns.

Fabulous Condo

We have never stayed in a rental vacation place that is as thoroughly and thoughtfully appointed as this Sabino Canyon home. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. Plush bathrobes, a comfy king size zero gravity bed, four smart tvs, more than ample supplies of tissues and soaps, beach towels, and my favorite--a spice rack with a large array of spices for cooking. The condo is spacious, has plenty of hot water, and there's a sweet little patio out the back that looks out on native plantings that are great for bird watching. The pool is heated and there is a nice fitness room at the clubhouse, along with tennis and pickleball (and there's equipment in the house to use). We rented this place having no idea of where things are in Tucson, and we were so happy with the location. You will be in walking distance of the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area with miles of hiking trails. You are also next door to a very fun pub with music on the weekends. Short distance to grocery stores and restaurants (like five minutes). Susan and Tony were marvelous hosts. They responded to every inquiry promptly, and the few minor problems that arose (we were there for the entire month of February) were fixed quickly for us. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Attractive online, even better in person

Property description is certainly accurate, but doesn't do it justice once we experienced it in person. The layout worked very well for us, with a comfortable, accommodating common area, with the bedrooms separated from each other for maximum privacy. The kitchen was well appointed and generously stocked with items such as coffee and spices. There are not expansive vistas from the property, but the outdoor areas are very nice and peaceful. Enjoyed morning coffee while listening to the birds on the patio. The common areas-clubhouse, pool, tennis/pickleball- were great. The clubhouse had a small library and game selection from which we borrowed. Also, a pleasant tv, table tennis, billiards room. The pool temp was perfect, and while the tennis/pickleball court didn't seem to get a lot of use, Susan was able to reserve some times for us, which made scheduling our days much easier. Along that line, communication with the hosts was exemplary: quick responses to all questions/requests (which we hope weren't too many!) With regard to location, we enjoy hiking, and this property is about a mile from a Sabino canyon recreation area trailhead. Beautiful hikes! Obviously, we enjoyed our stay immensely, and look forward to returning.

Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Absolutely wonderful accommodations. My wife and I along with two neighbor friends who traveled with us could not have been happier with the condo. The owners are close and responded quickly to a couple questions. Our next trip to Tucson will include calling Susan and Tony first and hope that it’s available.

This is just a great launching spot to hike Sabino and Ventana Canyons, take a day trip up to Mount Lemmon, golf at any of the many courses, shop, and experience why Tucson was named a city of gastronomy. The sunsets in Tucson can not be beat and the weather is exceptional.

The security of the gated community and the exceptional amenities such as the sparkling pool, tennis/pickleball, basketball, spa and exercise facility made this the development we wanted to call our second home. The adjacency of the mountains and the hiking opportunities made this the perfect place! Catalina foothills boasts some of the best eateries in Tucson which is definitely a huge bonus!
