Overall the house was very cute, very clean, and very well maintained. It was night time when we are trying to find the cottage and since it wasn't viewable from the street it was a bit hard to find amongst the collection of other small cottages. This very cute cottage’s proximity to the beach was excellent. It had all the necessary amenities and very easy access at check in. The owner Jason was extremely gracious with all our requests. Would highly recommend this cottage.

It was a cute cozy house, very clean, small but perfect for my needs… just a couple of things… the info says that there is a pool. Not the case, and the person I spoke to said his view of the property shows no pool but the VRBO description said a private fenced in pool… also the cleaning fee is steep for the size of the building… otherwise it was a great place for one to two people….

Stayed for 9 nights at the East Chop cottage at The Moorings on Pine Point. We live in Portland and have vacationed on Pine Point several times, and the location of these cottages can't be beat, across the street from the path to beautiful, wide Pine Point Beach and a short walk to Bayley's Bait Shed and Lobster Pound, our favorite place to dine or get takeout in the area. The cottage is charming and updated and has everything needed for your stay, but it is small, so just don't plan on doing calisthenics inside and it's all good. We had no problem parking in the 3-car lot on the property all week and the overflow lot just across the street was convenient when we had guests visit for a barbecue. Thanks, Jason!

Perfect getaway!

Very nice !! Such a great location. Good restaurants in walking distance. Beach is a very short distance down the path. The cottage is beautifully decorated. Perfect for 2 people. And is was quiet too. I would definitely recommend this lodging! Wish we could have stayed longer. Oh, and communication with Jason could not have been better.

Mini vacation

I’ve been coming to Pine Point for almost 30 years with my family and decided to take my husband here for our ‘baby moon’ as one last get away. I’ve always dreamed of staying in these cottages and so happy it worked out. My husband is now just as in love with the area as I am. Jason’s cottage was the perfect spot for the two of us. Being 8 months pregnant, I was able to conveniently take morning walks around the point, walk to and from the gorgeous beach multiple times a day and to some restaurants. Location was perfect, we had a blast. The cottage was nicely cleaned upon arrival, and had all the necessary amenities. We didn’t cook in, but the kitchen would’ve still worked perfectly if we decided to do so. Everything was nicely upgraded, and very coastal New England. The bed was comfortable and the AC easily cooled the entire place down. It was still close enough to the water and cool at night to be able to leave the windows open and hear the waves too. Very relaxing atmosphere. Jason was in frequent contact checking in with us despite traveling himself so we knew we could reach out if needed, although we had no concerns. We really enjoyed this cottage and can’t wait to be back!

Perfect Pine Point Cottage

This rental was perfect for a few day stay in Pine Point. Great location, loved the outdoor table for meals, and host has everything you need for a fun day at the beach. We will definitely rent again!

Perfectly sweet!

This tiny, perfectly located property has everything you need. I would suggest packing light since the bedroom is too small to leave a suitcase open. It is super clean, bright and sunny!!

Perfect for Two, Excellent location

Lovely, cozy , immaculate cottage equipped with everything necessary and just a two-minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Jason is a wonderful host and replied immediately to my inquiries which was much appreciated . This was our first visit to Pine Point Beach, and we look forward to visiting again!

We got married there!

Thank you for the perfect place to have a small and impromptu wedding. We were originally going to get married on the beach but it rained the entire day! The place was beautiful and cozy.

L’emplacement est parfaite, près de la plage et des restos . La maison est très jolie et coquette. Par contre, nous l’avons trouvé petite pour 2 adultes. Et à l’extérieur,il n’y a aucune intimité ,c’est un peu décevant.et pas de terrain qu’une petite table patio . Mais en général,tout est bien.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

This was our second time staying at "The Moorings". Super squeaky clean, and well curated decor in every room. Cozy and intimate. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, everything seemed brand new. We love the short walk to the beach and local seafood restaurants. We were lucky to have sunrise and low tide coincide to enjoy an early morning walk to the exposed point. We'll be back!

Quaint cottage (lors of bees!)

Overall, we enjoyed the proximity to the ocean and the cottage. We wouldn't pick this cottage again. One of us is deathly allergic to bee stings and there was no mention of a bush with a swarm of bees next to the front door. It made it stressful. menti
