Family vacation apartment with private terrace, W-Lan, pet-friendly.

In the midst of the lovely Tauber valley between the spa town of Bad Mergentheim and Würzburg, not far from Stuttgart, Rothenburg, Wertheim, there are many wonderful destinations.

For hiking also invite the approximately 30 circular walks through forests and meadows in romantic and ancient places over around the Tauber Valley.

You can also use the apartment for one night (it is about five km from the A81).

There is also a Wi-Fi available.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with stove and oven, private washing machine, microwave, coffee maker and fridge freezer.

The bathroom with shower has a large window.

The house is beautifully situated on the southern slope, with lots of sun.
Children and pets are welcome.

Likewise, their children in the immediate vicinity of a beautiful playground is available.

Towels, as well as bed linen are available in the apartment.

The apartment has two bedrooms. One room has a 140 cm bed and the other room has two 90 cm beds next to each other. There is also a children's cot available and a height-adjustable baby chair.

For the physical well-being is located in the village a supermarket, two butchers and two bakeries. A pharmacy and some doctors practice in Grünefeld.

Lovey place!!!

It was so nice to be welcomed by Stephanie when we arrived. The pictures don't do this place justice. It's in a lovely village, close to the top of the hill. The rooms are spacious except the kitchen which is a little small but it had everything that we needed and for our family of 5 was very adequate. There are some lovely little touches left around the place and we felt that it was good value. We spent more on a hotel in Wurzburg where we didn't have half the amenities. This place was also very child friendly with some toys and books etc.

Home away from home

We were absolutely delighted to make this property our home base for our first ever visit to Germany. The flat was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, our host Stephanie was tremendously accommodating and helpful and the location was just perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed and Stephanie helped us when we needed to do laundry. There are two really huge bedrooms plus a clean and modern bathroom and kitchen. The sunshine and privacy were appreciated when we were at home. It is a lovely quiet location on top of a hill and the drive down each morning was glorious. We wanted to fully immerse ourselves in German culture and Grünsfeld was the ideal place to do just that. Grünsfeld is a little village that feels preserved through the ages. Our favorite thing to do was to walk down to the family owned Hemm bakery in the morning to buy the daily made-from-scratch baked goods. The bread and pastries were out of this world and the walk was lovely. We used the flat as our home base for the entire week and did day trips. Most were less than 2 hrs away. - Würzberg: 40 mins drive, Würzberg has been largely reconstructed after being extensively bombed in WW2. The village is gorgeous and there are plenty of things to do. My husband and son hired bikes and rode 60 km through little villages. I visited the Residenz - gorgeous - and we all walked up to the Marienburg Fortress. If you want GREAT food Hans Im Glock was a hit. - Frankfurt: 1.5 hours drive. We had to go there for an early morning meeting, but did not stay long. It is just another city and apart from the lovely town square (Römerberg) was not interesting to us. We drove from there to Heidelburg which we really enjoyed. The palace and Aldstadt there is worth touring. -Rothenburg ob der Tauber - this village is an absolute must see and was our highlight. Make sure you stay for the Nightwatchman's tour at night. Amazing medieval town - Black Forest - Triberg was fairly underwhelming. There was a pleasant walk to the waterfall, but nothing worth driving 2.5hrs for. We did eat Black Forest Cake and travel on to Baden Baden for a session at the Friedrichsbad. Not for the prudish!! - Nürnberg - We needed to plan our day better for this town. We visited the Stadtmuseum and should have done more of the historical stuff. - Munich - another beautiful city, about 2.5 hours away (driving fast!). We HIGHLY recommend this accommodation and would return happily.

Schöne Ferienwohnung

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Die ganze Zeit vorher hatte ich einen sehr netten Kontakt mit Frau Oechsner, die immer geduldig auf meine vielen Fragen reagiert hat :-). Die Ferienwohnung mit Zugang in den Garten ist wirklich schön. Sie ist sauber, modern, sehr gut ausgestattet und in einer schönen Gegend gelegen. Jeder Zeit gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind!

Mooi verblijf

Het is een prachtig appartement en een hele goede gastvrouw. Het ontbrak aan niets in het appartement. Er stond 1 relaxstoel en er werd direct een tweede bijbesteld. Super. Enig minpuntje, waar de verhuurster echt niets aan kan doen, waren de buurkinderen. Herrie van trampoline en zwembad en achterbaks gluren door de heg en uitlachen. Onopgevoede kinderen die niet werden gecorrigeerd.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sofort wohl gefühlt. Sie ist perfekt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Checkin und Kontakt im Vorfeld unserer Reise liefen unkompliziert und herzlich. Beim Einzug standen Getränke (Wasser, Saft, Bier und sogar Wein) für uns bereit. Überhaupt ist die Einrichtung überdurchschnittlich gut. Bügelbrett, Bügeleisen, Fön, Toilettenpapier, Spülmittel, Handseife, Gewürze, sogar Zahnbürste und Duschgel, um nur einige zu nennen, waren da.Wir haben uns in der sauberen und gepflegten Wohnung sofort wohl gefühlt. Und super geschlafen. Auch unsere beiden Hunde waren willkommen. Die freundlichen und sehr hilfsbereiten Vermieter wohnen im oberen Hausbereich, sind jedoch nicht zu hören. Den Außenbereich haben wir ebenfalls gern genutzt, man kann herrlich in der Ost- oder Südsonne ausspannen. Mit den Hunden waren wir in direkter Nähe spazieren und haben den schönen Ausblick genossen. Es ist ein ruhiges Wohngebiet, perfekt zum Erholen. Sehr zu empfehlen auch die wunderbaren Radwege entlang der Tauber im Lieblichen Taubertal. Wir bedanken uns bei Fam. Oechsner und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Kurzurlaub im Taubertal at it's best!

Bei Familie Oechsner war es sehr erholsam, nicht nur die hervorragende Wohnung mit Garten und schöner, sauberer Einrichtung, Handtücher und Bettwäsche,. Sondern auch die liebevolle Eigentümerin und die schöne Umgebung machen die Entscheidung leicht nochmal zu kommen. Herzlichen Dank auch FeWo direkt für die gute Organisation!

Beautiful countryside

Beautiful countryside with fantastic hosts and a wonderful home. Enough room for us and 2 small dogs, very difficult to find in Germany, and we can not say enough about the friendliness and generosity of the home owners and we would wish everyone to have this as we have it.

Lovely place to stay

It was our third visit to this apartment, and as always it was immaculate. The occasion was the a family funeral, so we were not there to enjoy ourselves. We love the area and Stephanie Oechsner is a great host.

Genieten van de rust in een super vakantiehuis

Zeer nette vakantiewoning tot in het kleinste detail voorzien. Zeer mooie streek waar je mooie wandelingen kan maken,wel grotendeels zelf uit te stippelen. Geen toeristisch gebied, ideaal om tot rust te komen. Heerlijke vakantie gehad.
