Great escape but not too far from the happenings of NWA. We stayed here and went to a show at the amp. Beautiful view, clean room, great sunrise viewing. Was a great quiet escape for the weekend.

Absolutely loved this space!!! The hosts are very very nice, the property is beautiful and peaceful. Far enough out to see the sky but close enough to drive in when wanting to. We will book here again for sure!

Lovely!

We enjoyed our stay at your place! The sunroom/patio was our favorite part! Such a beautiful view and a wonderful spot to have our provided morning coffee! The shower is also great!

Nice place!

The property is very nice and matches the description posted. The hosts are onsite for any issues (we didnt have any and only saw one if them 1 time). They are very open about the driveway and even having a custom vehicle it wasnt that bad. We would stay here again.

Most excellent! Where Blue Birds Fly was an amazing experience and I am forever grateful and delighted about the wonderful memories. Communication from the owner covered every detail and I smiled upon arrival seeing “the light on” to welcome me.Stunning view of the lake, gorgeous flowers outside door, surrounded by Nature galore in all its splendour trees, birds, deer, cutest squirrel, quiet, peaceful and on and on. Very comfy, clean, complimentary snacks, hot shower, etc.

Clean but very small

The bed/ bathroom was very clean and nice, however the bedroom is connected to the main part of the house so you can hear people and conversations in the kitchen/ living room so there isn't a lot of privacy. They do let you use their kayaks though, which was really nice!

Spectacular View!

This property is in the Ozark Mountains and has a spectacular view of Beaver Lake! It was very quiet and safe. We saw deer every morning! The only downside is the driveway, which the host is very clear about in the description. If you have an all-wheel drive vehicle it is no problem getting to the parking area close to the private entrance. The space is limited (the bathroom/shower is gorgeous), but the host indicated we could use common areas in their home. I do not like to intrude on someone's space, so we chose not to use those areas. The room was very clean and had everything we needed! The host was very kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area in the future!

Annivesary Getaway

we were looking for a quiet getaway. we live a very fast paced, hectic life with responsibilities for many. its hard to take time out just for yourselves and we needed this. the location and stay was absolutely perfect. we stayed for 6 days/5 nights. just as i got to know my way around the area it was time to come back. unlike MOST vacations where you go, go, go, go, we didn't. we unplugged and actually had time to rest, read, relax and reconnect. it was one of the best vacations we've had in years for that reason alone. the accomodations were exactly how they stated. we did hear them a couple of times in the kitchen making food, but other than that we were completely undisturbed. they offered to allow us to their kitchen if needed, but it wasn't. we spent time finding local (or semi-local) places to eat and just spent the days unwinding. this is a great place to go and we definitely would like to come back sooner than later.

Arkansas Family Trip

We had our 1 year old and my husband and myself with us to stay. Cons: We got in late and unfortunately were not set up to get into the rental per VRBO hiccup. Very difficult to get set up late after dark to find where you are to be staying. One thing I did not know was that the rental shares side walls with the owners. It also advertises washer and dryer but you do not have your own access to them. Also with staying in the owners house, you do not have your own thermostat to control the temperature. Temp was okay but for my daughter to slept in the Walk in closet- it was too warm for her. Just a few things I wish I would have known. The bed felt like a full size to us verses a queen. We are used to our king at home. It was very firm for us. Pros: great view, close to where our family lives, mini fridge nice and cold and they stock you with water and snacks. Plenty of space for your things and shower is nice and all very new feeling.

Lovely View

The apartment was clean and tidy, smaller than it looked in pictures, but did have a lovely view and was very quiet. The drive that was advertised as difficult was even more difficult than expected. A 4-wheel drive vehicle may have no trouble, but we could not get up to the apartment entry in my Kia Soul. So, it was hard getting our stuff up and down the hill where we had to park. The ladybug infestation was a little worrisome, but bugs don't bother us, so it was ok. The apartment is tight for two people who are not sleeping together, but putting roll-away on sunporch worked for me. I would not have wanted to stay more than two nights under those circumstances, however. The automatic door lock did not work when we first arrived and the host was not at home, but responded immediately to my phone call and managed to guide us into the apartment through the house. If you want to plug in a device and use it while lying in bed, you will need an extension cord (which we probably could have gotten from the host but didn't request). Also, there is one small trashcan in the bathroom, but we needed another trashcan next to the console where the coffeepot, etc. is located. We didn't use the TV, so can't comment. All of these comments are a bit picky! The apartment is comfortable, beautifully furnished, and provides a lovely view and perfect for a retreat from civilization. I hope to return for a solitary retreat in the future, and it would be perfect for a couple's retreat!

Peaceful, Gorgeous, Cute, and Clean!

Let's start with the location. It is up a hill that looks directly down on Beaver Lake. Even in winter, when all the plants were dead, it was such a gorgeous view! There are other houses in the area, but it feels so secluded, making it a really peaceful environment. Both of the mornings went left the house, there were deer trotting around in the backyard! I would suggest bringing an SUV or higher car because the driveway is a bit difficult to get up. You also have to walk up a hill and on somewhat difficult terrain for about 100 feet, so make sure you are able to do that. It is about 30 minutes from Rogers and 40 minutes from Bentonville, but with the gorgeous views through the whole drive, it feels like nothing. There are so many restaurants and activities in the city that it is a great winter stay as well. Next, the room: You will have a private sunroom with windows facing the lake. The sunroom opens up into the bedroom with a private bathroom. The bedroom was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The space has a TV with Roku, a microwave, laundry basket, mini fridge, and lots of extra towels/sheets. The bathroom has an amazing waterfall showerhead, and it is also very spacious and adorable. The only thing: I am unsure where they came from, but we found 2-3 lady bugs in the bathroom/sun room throughout our stay (not a big deal, but just if you are scared of bugs!!). I am a bit of a clean freak, and I thought everything was clean - it all smelled good and you could tell the space was well taken care of. Finally, the host: The hosts were so kind and informative. You are staying in their house, but there is a completely separate entrance to the guest area, and we never even saw the hosts. We heard them doing dishes once, but it was only because we did not have the TV going, so it was almost silent in our room haha. They were happy to fix things if we had any issues and they wanted us to have a wonderful stay. This was, overall, one of the best VRBOs that we have stayed at!!

A wonderful and peaceful place to rest and relax

This was a perfect place for me to get away for the weekend. The bed was amazing, second to only the view. The hosts had great communication and made locating the home and check-in super easy. The shower was incredible. Usually such things are unremarkable, but not this one! Enjoy!

Beautiful NW Arkansas

We came to tour U of A on a football weekend. This home was a peaceful and clean respite from the busyness on campus. And man, what a sunrise view in the morning!!

Beautiful View

Donna was great! Very friendly and easy to contact with any questions. The place is very clean and has a beautiful view of the lake. Nice relaxing place to enjoy nature! We had hummingbirds and deer visit every day!

The room was beautiful! Gorgeous top-floor view of the lake and surrounding woods. No expense spared in furnishings and finishings of this space. Donna (host) was friendly and helpful and waited up for our arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this remote spot.

Working it out

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. We had issues with VRBO overcharging us and Donna was really helpful in helping get the issue resolved. This property is a mother-in-law suite to Donna's house. You have access to a mini-fridge, microwave, hot-water kettle, sunroom, rainfall shower with led lights, and a beautiful view without having to leave your room/area. Donna and her family live in the main part of the house and they rent out the downstairs as well. If you do not mind asking, you can use their full kitchen, bbq grill, and patio. For an extra $15 they will haul their kayaks to a cove for you to kayak around. We did this and thought it was excellent. There is one restaurant that is super close called the War Eagle Mill (it closes at 4pm). Otherwise you need to drive 30-45 minutes into Rogers or Bentonville. We elected to ask for use of the kitchen and use their grill. This property is very close to the trails of Hobbs State Park. We enjoyed the Karst Trail Loop. Donna is a great host and I would highly recommend staying with her.

Beautiful, quiet, and comfortable!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The view is beautiful, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is amazing!! Donna is great and stocks the room with everything you might need.

Near Hobb's Conservation & all the trails

Lovely Chateau & lovely hosts! If you like the photos, it's even better than pictured. We hope to stay here again the next time we go hiking in the Rogers / Beaver Lake area. Oh, I really liked all the cubicles in the walk-in closet; it was so easy to unpack & everything had a place! And the in-room electric tea kettle was indispensable!
