One of the highest holiday apartment in Berchtesgadener Land. Healing climatic altitude of 1050m. Especially suitable for asthmatics. It is uniquely beautiful on a mountainside off the main road and the noise.
A viewpoint that can be counted among the most beautiful in Berchtesgadener Land. Free view of the valley and the Berchtesgaden mountain chain. Starting point for numerous hiking and mountain tours to the Obersalzberg, Kehlstein and Jenner areas. High tours to the high Göll and high board.
Due to the altitude of our house we have the advantage that over 1050m bright sunshine prevails, while the fog in the valley does not dissolve.

Our cozy, ground-floor apartment "Hochkalter" features its own private entrance and is situated in an extraordinary high-altitude location surrounded by pure nature. Designed with simplicity and love, it provides everything you need for a comfortable stay for 2 guests.
• Sleeping Comfort: The apartment consists of a combined living/sleeping area with a high-quality box-spring double bed, as well as an additional separate bedroom with a single bed. Enjoy the flexibility of two rooms – ideal for guests who prefer separate sleeping arrangements.
• Amenities: A nice bathroom with shower/WC and a fully equipped 2.70m kitchenette that leaves nothing to be desired for a self-catering holiday.
• The Highlight: A private terrace with a magnificent panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden mountain range and the valley below.

Wonderful!

The property is perfectly situated for hiking, visiting local attractions (Eagle’s Nest, Königssee), and enjoying quiet simple dinners on the terrace while watching the sun set behind the mountains. It was simply wonderful-clean and simple-and the hosts were kind and helpful. Very clean too.

Ideal für Ruhesuchende und Wanderer

'Auf Augenhöhe mit den Bergen': Die Website der Gastgebern verspricht nicht zu viel. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub an diesem schönen, ruhigen Ort. Die großen Attraktionen wie die Jennerbahn und der Königssee sind gleich um die Ecke, aber vom Chalet aus kann man auch direkt auf die Wanderwege in der Umgebung gehen. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgebern.

Herrliche Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick

Die kleine Ferienwohnung war wie beschrieben, sie war sehr sauber und ordentlich und das Nötigste ist in der Küche vorhanden. Wunderschöne Lage mit Blick auf den Watzmann und das Tal. Herrliche Wanderwege in alle Richtungen. Ich kann die Ferienwohnung mit Terasse sehr empfehlen. Superfreundliche Vermieter:)

Mooi appartement met prachtig uitzicht

Het appartement is mooi, schoon en van alle benodigdheden voorzien. Vanaf het terras heb je het mooiste uitzicht van de omgeving. Er zijn talloze wandel mogelijkheden. Je kunt hier echt tot rust komen.

Ein besonderer Urlaub mitten in den Bergen

Dieses Objekt ist besonders geeignet für Naturliebhaber und für Menschen, die die Ruhe suchen. Das Haus ist zwar abgeschieden, aber doch zentral für Ausflüge. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die viele Empfehlungen für Ausflugsziele geben können und die Bergwelt kennen. Ich habe mich dort von der 1. Minute sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ruhe und Erholung am Berg

Trotz Corona-Einschränkungen und anfänglich schlechtem Wetter hatten wir eine tolle Woche bei Claus. Wunderschöne Gegend, absolut tolle Lage mit Blick auf den Watzmann, gute Gasthöfe it leckerem Essen fußläufiger zu erreichen und sehr nette Gastgeber.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist fantastisch. Die Aussicht die sich einem bietet ist unvergleichlich. Die Bergkulisse zeigte sich jeden Tag in einem neuen Licht. Die Ferienwohnung ist klein, aber fein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und nichts vermisst. Die Vermieter sind super nett und sehr herzlich. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Herrliche Lage, tolle Aussicht, Unterkunft einfach aber ordentlich!

Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, die Wohnung war klein aber gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir bräuchten. kein Luxus, aber würde auch nicht versprochen. Auch Kochen ist gut möglich. Ausreichend Platz für Utensilien für die Selbstversorgung. Internet reichte für Streaming. Die Aussicht auf den Watzmann ist gigantisch schön. Insbesondere bei Sonnenaufgang. Perfekte Lage für Fotos ! Viele Wanderwege sind zu Fuß erreichbar, weitere vom Königssee. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Aufstieg auf den Grünstein. Auch im Mai schon möglich. Da es Recht frisch war hätten wir uns eine Badewanne gewünscht, aber das ist ja schon Luxus. Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, werden wieder buchen. :-)

Kleine Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung war für 2 Personen ausreichend ausgestattet. Wir hatten sehr schönes Wetter und konnten viel Zeit draußen verbringen. Der Blick ins Tal und auf die Berge von der Terrasse und aus dem Fenster ist einmalig schön. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und mit Rat und Ausflugsempfehlungen gerne behilflich. Wlan war zwar vorhanden, jedoch mit vielen Unterbrechungen und Ausfällen.

Sommerurlaub August 2018

Das Feriendomizil hat eine absolut tolle Lage. Von hier kann man sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit dem Auto viele Ziele erreichen. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und haben uns mit ihrer Liebe zur Natur begeistert. Für 2 Personen ist die Ferienwohnung ausreichend, mit 3 Personen wird es etwas eng.

Beautiful place with a lovely apartment hosted by very special people. We enjoyed every day there.

This is a special place perched above Berchtesgarden with spectacular views. Claus and Saadia were wonderful hosts. The apartment was very nice and clean with everything we needed. Amazing views of the tall peaks and the towns in the valley below. There are many great trails out our door. We took some wonderful hikes right from the house. There is lots to do in the area which Saadia helped us with. We would definitely recommend this place. We will seriously consider returning. Doug and Gretchen Boulder, CO

A comfortable mountain home right in the heart of nature

This place is a rare gem indeed! We loved this secluded spot only max. 45 minutes from Salzburg airport, to share with other quiet nature lovers set in fresh alpine meadows with great snowy peaks all around and friendly hosts whom we felt at home with. Definitely my favourite place on earth! Perfect for our romantic honeymoon. And so many nearby places to visit: a nearby restaurant serving a great variety of German specialities, Konigsee, the lake to take a guided boat ride on then a 20 minute walk to a hidden smaller lake and an opportunity from this other lake to visit the highest waterfall in Germany, a royal residence, a salt mine, bakeries/Konditorei to enjoy coffee and cake, small shops and boutiques. But all you really want to do is to sit and relax on your private terrace soaking up the view and the peace of the mountains, meadows and forest and to explore the many paths, some of which start from your front door or from a 5-minute drive away. We would love to go back again as soon as possible!

Traumhafter Ausblick

Jeden Tag haben wir diesen traumhaften Ausblick genossen. Was uns auf der Internetseite an Fotos gezeigt wurde, wird von der Wirklichkeit bei weitem übertroffen. Jeden Tag zeigt sich das Bergpanorama in einem neuen Licht und wir mussten entscheiden, wieviele Fotos wir machen und ob wir die geplante Unternehmung nicht ausfallen lassen und lieber die Terrasse genießen. Die Gastgeber lieben diesen Ort von Herzen und strahlen dies in ihrem Willkommen aus. Sie sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der kleinen, feinen Wohnung hat man alles, was man braucht und wenn die Gardinen offen sind, immer wieder diese fantastische Aussicht. Fußläufig gibt es bereits mehr als genug Ziele; selbst den Königsee haben wir so erreicht. Es ist beinahe wie im Himmel. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
