Cozy pine log cabin

This cabin sits on 31 acres of woods. It is the only structure on the property so things should really stay quiet and peaceful .
The Buffalo River is located 3 miles to the east of the cabin, and the Tennessee River is 8 miles to the west with many marinas and canoe rentals, hiking trails and bluffs on the river all around.
We are only an hour from Nashville TN and around 35 minutes to Loretta Lynn's ranch in Waverly TN.
We welcome you to come and check our area out. We like it, and we believe that you will too .
We have lived here all our lives and would be happy to answer any questions you have, things to do and places to go etc.
So bring your family and friends if you like ,we will do our best to help you enjoy this area of Tennessee.
We hand built this home/cabin with huge, hand carved pine logs, straight out of our wonderful wooded Tennessee hills. We did most of the work and designing on this and we're able to really put a personal touch to the work inside and out . We would like to invite you to come and share a bit of our enjoyment and peaceful way of life.
Relax in a comfortable cedar rocker on the covered wrap around porch and if you're quiet you might glimpse deer ,or any other of the many kinds of wildlife.

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful trip. The cabin is exactly as listed. Cozy, inviting and very clean. It’s very secluded so a bit difficult to find in the dark but the directions given were very helpful. A great family getaway.

Wish I could have stayed longer

The property was meticulously well maintained. The cabin was perfect! Josh and Cassia were gracious hosts and even suggested things to do in the area. My only complaint was that I wasn’t smart enough to book the cabin longer. Next time we’ll definitely stay for a full five days.

Definitely would stay again!

It's a great place to stay and we didn't have any trouble with communicating with the hosts. The cabin overall was very comfortable and the beds were comfortable as well. You can tell that they are making changes in the cabin for the better. The only problem that stands out is how close to the road the cabin was. I assumed it would be farther but there is a tree line between the road and cabin. There also were no blinds or curtains in the living room so you could see the road in the gaps of the trees.

Cozy getaway

Overall the cabin was wonderful. We did see the occasional water bug, ants and so on but that is to be expected. The king bed was really nice. The double beds were harder to get in and out of due to the design. Josh and Cassia were extremely wonderful hosts! Many businesses near to the cabin had friendly service.

Mouse cabin

The cabin is beautiful. Walls were dusty though. My wife is a cancer patient and Nashville was a bucket list item for her. The shower rod fell off and hit her in the head. There needs to be a handrail going up the steps. The address dies not take you to the property but to a house a quarter of a mile away from the cabin. The worst thing is the mouse infestation. We couldn't leave out any snacks. We woke up to hearing mice running around and even in our bed. This was the most uncomfortable stay because of this. Unsanitary because of this. Beautiful home just needs attention. I wish there was a refund possible because it was not worth the price due to the mouse problem

Great custom cabin

Loved the cabin, it was exactly what we needed. Hosts were very responsive and helped out with the few issues that popped up. We hope to stay again next year!

Perfect unwind.

Everything was excellent. We needed a trip to unwind and reset. We enjoyed getting away from the city lights and being able to see the stars again. The cabin was clean and very welcoming. The host were amazing! They were able to answer questions we had about the area.

Long Adventure Motorcycling weekend

Used this cabin as base to explore Western Tennessee back roads. It was a great cabin and the Host's were very responsive and helpful.

It was a beautiful place.

I did not notice that a TV was not listed on the site. My mother was planning on staying in the house all day and watching TV while the family went exploring so we had to leave early to make mom happy. Josh was understanding and helpful.

Great place to stay. It has everything you would need while staying there. Very clean, and very quite. We spent every evening on the front porch watching the fire flies.

Girls Weekend

The house was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. We didn't miss the dishwasher, but families might. They do need to put a railing on the stairs inside and out. GPS didn't have a clue where this house was, but we made it. Telling us that on the front end, would have helped.
