Relax with the whole family/friends at this peaceful place to stay on Melton Hill Lake. Ideal for Family getaways, Graduations-celebrationss, private relaxing time, base camp for exploring east Tennessee (Windsock Off Road Park is 15 minutes away, Smoky Mountain National Park is 45 minutes away), and work trips. Conveniently located within 5 minutes of Oakridge, 10 minutes to Farragut, and 20 minutes to Downtown Knoxville and the Airport.

This Basement Ranch has 3 Bedrooms and 2 Full Baths, the Master Bedroom and other 2 Bedrooms have queen beds. There is also a living room, Dining Room-Office, Kitchen, and a Large Family room that has a queen sleeper and 2 sleeper (twin size) chairs that fold out into beds. The Kitchen is well equipped with cookware, mixer, electric hot water kettle, cookie sheets, pyrex dishes, toaster and of course mugs, cups, plates, bowls and utensils. Additionally, we have a Keurig coffee bar with complementary fixings. We strive to ensure you to have everything you would need to fix any meal.

On the exterior, there is a front balcony style porch that is partially covered. The back of the house features Upper and Lower deck/ porches. We added a hot tub, March 2022. It sits in the covered patio at 101 degrees. The house is right on the water so it is excellent for Kayaking, canoeing, SUP (Stand Up Paddle board), water sports, and fishing. We offer 6 kayaks, 2 SUPs, all the paddles and lifevests and 2 Mountain Bikes for our guests use. Some of the best fishing in Tennessee is right in this lake! You can also enjoy a campfire at the fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis with a pet fee. There is a fenced in are about 50' X 70' with 2 gates for access to the pet. To access it, you will go outside the Sunroom door (opposite of the deck) and walk about 15 feet to the gate. Please keep your pet leashed until inside of the fenced in area.

We supply a starter set Coffee, Dish Soap, Laundry Soap and Hand Soap in addition to TP, Paper towels and a complete set of towels and linens for your whole stay.

You have access to the whole 1 acre of property, the lake, front house and the Sunroom. There is a back in-law quarters that is not accessible at this time, it is the owner’s area. We do not typically stay in the house while there are guests, however, if we have a contractor or a delivery coming in (like the hot tub added in March 2022), we do stay, but will give notice to the guest as soon as we find out.

For the security of our home and the safety of our guests, there are 5 total cameras for surveillance. There is a Ring doorbell and 4 other cameras for security.

We are not intrusive and want you to enjoy your stay, we've positioned the cameras away from the interior of the home. Unfortunately, security these days are a necessity and we have to protect our home. Thank you for understanding.
