What a wonderful stat we had!! The kitchen appliances and full refrigerator was so helpful. The resort had barbecues outside for all to use. ( they were cleaned every night & provided all the tools!) The resort was relaxing and the Ko olina lagoons and beach walks were so nice! Best sunsets are here!! Family friendly place and our one bedroom plus extra room was plenty of space for 5 of us!! This was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Weā€™ll be back!!

Great Place to Stay with Family

Our room(s) provided most of the amenities of home. The full kitchen helps with not having to eat out for every meal. The pools and private beach are amazing! The pools have features for kids (and adults) of all ages with hidden hot tubs, I don't think we found all of them while we were there! The private beach was never overly crowded during our stay. We would definitely stay here again, no question. The only possible downsides are the resorts distance from "public" shopping and entertainment areas; depending on traffic it could be 30-60+ minutes of driving to Waikiki. And this resort is a timeshare property, don't get sucked into the "presentation" unless you're interested in "owning" a timeshare. Marriott does have a lot to offer in this regard, multiple resorts in multiple countries.

Always love staying in Ko Olina. The Marriott Vacation club is beautiful and the staff are always great. Love the beach and the feel here, amazing Island Vibes. The kids love the pool/hut tubs, the food and access to all the fun activities. The rooms themselves are nice, and have a nice island feel. This is about my 10th time staying here and love the location. About 45 mins from Waikiki Beach and nothing is too far away. Will definitely be back.

Good luck trying to get ahold of the property management company. Weā€™ve stayed at VRBOā€™s all over the world and the communication with this management company was 1 star at best!

Beautiful resort & time share property

We had a lovely stay at the Koā€™Olina beach club resort! We ended up with an ocean/resort view room instead of Mountain View. We enjoyed the various fitness classes offered, such as yoga, water aerobics, boot camp, and more. There were several large pools for lounging or swimming, including one with a water slide. It was a bit of a challenge to find a lounge chair around the pools and/or umbrella at times, but we eventually managed. There are plenty of lounge chairs at the beach, but be aware that sun umbrellas and beach tents (even for infants) are not allowed. There were covered lounge chairs that could be rented for approx 100/day. Thereā€™s also a small store with some medications and snacks, along with tourist merchandise. We found the staff throughout the resort very attentive, helpful, and kind. We had a full kitchen, including a full sized fridge with ice maker. Thereā€™s also a filtered water station in the lobby as well. Be aware that grocery shopping in Hawaii in general is very costly, but there were several grocery stores, restaurants, movie theater, etc within 15min drive. Koā€™Olina is centrally located along the west side, making day trips off the resort to either the north shore or the south shore very doable. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property!

Awesome vacation location!

The resort is beautiful. We had the best time lounging at the lagoons, the pool, and attending the activities. We saw so many fish snorkeling in the lagoons. The sunsets are phenomenal. The rooms are clean and spacious. We used the grills and watched the staff clean them thoroughly every morning. They work very hard at keeping up the cleanliness and beauty of the property. Longboards is a great place to grab a bite to eat. The fries there are the BEST! Also, grab you a lava guava from the bar. We had a wonderful experience. Would love to go back.

Big resort but didnā€™t seem crowded

Loved relaxing on the beach, swimming in the lagoons, getting meals on site. Condo had nice rooms and beds and baths. loved the pools w my kids. Did not want a time share info session at the welcomedesk and as able to decline. Loved the area but did take a day trip to Waikiki beach which is a totally different more international energetic vibe. fireworks and do on new yearā€™s eve were a pleasant surprise.

View description inaccurate

The property was perfect for our family of five. The pool was beautiful as was the beach access and tide pools. The description in the listing said Mountain View and we had a view of the parking lot on the other side of the building. No mountain in sight from our unit, although partial ocean view over the parking lot but the view was definitely a disappointment. restaurants were priced as expected at a resort but food was disappointing. Overall we would go back. Unit was clean, great location, and very comfortable .

Beautiful Resort Perfect Location for Families with Kids

We loved our stay at the Marriott beach resort at Koā€™olina. The kids enjoyed all the pools at the resort, walking down to the beach and playing in the sand and ocean. The beaches were perfect for my 7 yo and 9 month old because the waves were calm, beach was sandy (not too many rocks) and there isnā€™t a steep drop off in the ocean.My in-laws were with us and they enjoyed morning walks on a walking trail down the coves and past the other resorts. We went to the FIA FIA luau at the resort and the whole family really enjoyed it! The food was great, entertainment was amazing & funny and the location. Being right there at the resort and outside with the sun setting right on the ocean. Would definitely recommend this location and for families and a relaxing Hawaii vacation.

Amazing Family Vacation

I cannot say enough about this property and the location, it is beautiful, clean and walking distance to great food. The bay was perfect for the kids as well as all the pool options. The water slide was so much fun! They have great entertainment in th evenings. We will definitely be back!

Family vacation

We were absolutely thrilled with the resort and the accommodations. We have a son and his family that live on Oahu and we were able to have our other son and his family come with us for this vacation. First time in a couple years to have everyone together. This place helped make that a wonderful experience.
