The Cottage @ Georgetown Square was built in 1940 and since has been completely renovated. This cozy Cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway in the heart of the historical district of Old Town Georgetown. It's only a few blocks away from the most beautiful Town Square in Texas, where you will find bakeries, wineries, restaurants, shops, and bars. Enjoy a short walk to the San Gabriel Park or the Blue Hole. You can also go hiking and biking on trails along the San Gabriel River. And, you may enjoy watching a live performance at The Palace Theater or go to the Art Museum on the square.

Turn off A/C (or heater), fan, lights, TV and coffee maker. Close all blinds and lower all the way. Lock side and front doors as you exit.

Debra is one of the best hosts ever!!!! This is our second time staying at the Cottage at Georgetown. We took our first trip together and stayed here 3 years ago and came back for a special stay where we got engaged. The front porch was the perfect place for her to say "YES"! Debra was very accommodating and even met with us to give us the video of the proposal. We will definitely be returning in the future. Definitely try 600 Degrees. They make mystery pizza called "The Chef's Special" that is a must have and is in walking distance from the cottage. The downtown area is awesome to walk around and spend the weekend.

Location, location, location! The house was nicely furnished and well stocked. We did have heat issues but Debra was right on it and worked with us to get it resolved.We will definitely stay here again.

If I ever come back to Georgetown, I would absolutely want to stay at this amazing rental home. It was absolutely perfect and Debra was more than accommodating and kind. Debra added sweet details in each room that made it feel homey and cozy. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean. I was able to prepare meals with no problem because the kitchen had everything we needed. I wish we spent more time on the porch, but we were so busy.

Great fun in historic Georgetown

Property was excellent and easily served our needs. We came to visit famiy and we sure did! From a walk aroud the square with an ice cream cone in the dayight and a great glass of wine at night, the restaurants, shops and ambiience were first rate as was the house we stayed in. Charming, homey and well appointed, our trip was just terrific!

Quiet neighborhood

I enjoyed the property and the quiet and safe feeling neighborhood. It was very close to the downtown area with shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Debra checked in to guarantee that my stay was going well. I would stay again if in the area. I made a friend that hung out on the window screen!

Another Excellent Stay!

The Cottage in Georgetown has become a favorite for us! This was our third time to use it & our experience every time has been wonderful! Debra is a lovely host & goes above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. The location is in a good spot to wander to the square or to take a nice walk. The porch swing is definitely a favorite for us! It was wonderful to be back & would highly recommend it for a Georgetown stay!

Cute cottage in the perfect location!

We had a great stay at the Cottage @ Georgetown Square. The cottage was very clean and had every amenity you could think of. Debra thought of everything! There is a cute vintage-style coffee maker/toaster AND a Keurig (with coffee and creamers!). She really thought of everything, down to cotton balls, Q-tips, a magnifying mirror, shampoo/conditioner, blankets for the couch, etc. My husband and I enjoyed sitting outside on the porch with our morning coffee and afternoon drinks. We met a neighbor when we arrived who was super friendly but not intrusive at all. We walked to the river a few times and into the cute Georgetown center at least once a day, We felt completely safe in the neighborhood. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in the Georgetown area.

The house is in a beautiful neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the town square. The home itself was beautiful and comfortable. The host was helpful, polite and easy to communicate with. Will definitely rent again in the future.

Perfect location.

We enjoyed our experience in working with Debra; she was very attentive when we reached out. This was the perfect location to walk to the town square as well as to the San Gabriel River walkway (which was so nice). If able, we would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Cottage

My wife and I love the Christmas Stroll in Georgetown and this cottage. This is our second year staying here and the cottage is perfect for walking to the town square or spending time playing games after a long day shopping the various vendors. We know we will be back and this is the place to stay.

Perfect getaway

My wife and myself had a wonderful weekend In Georgetown. We fell in love with the town square restaurants and shops. Our host Debora’s charming cottage was the highlight of our stay, very comfortable and welcoming. We are looking forward to the next opportunity to return. Thank You again Debora.

Georgetown cottage

The hostess was outstanding. She made sure that our stay was excellent. This cozy cottage had everything you could need. Being close to the Georgetown square is essential to us. So this location was exceptional. I would highly recommend this property.

Excellent location

My wife & I have stayed here several times, because the host is wonderful, the location in a historic neighborhood of cute bungalows is only 3 walkable blocks to one of the best downtown squares in Texas. The house itself is small, but perfect for a couple or a couple with 1 child. The furnishings are quality, including luxury towels and linens. The central A/C works great and the shower has awesome pressure.

Another Excellent Stay!

The Cottage @ Georgetown Square never disappoints. This was our second time staying at the Cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The host, Debra, again took care of all the little details to ensure that our stay was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. She’s simply a wonderful host who knows how to take care of people. The cottage is located perfectly, just a few blocks from the Square within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops that downtown Georgetown has to offer. There is a multitude of things to do, from shopping, dining, enjoying a glass of wine at a winery, or a cocktail at a bar, or grab something sweet to eat at one of the bakeries. There is often live music on the square as well.
