Double Room

Hello and welcome to our little paradise in the heart of Transylvania. We have given our accommodation the name ESCAPE for good reason, because here you can really escape the everyday life and enjoy the peace and privacy. Our main concern is to offer all guests a warm and pleasant atmosphere. And since we like to travel a lot ourselves, we know what accommodation has to offer so that you can relax and feel good over several days. We have been living and working in the region for many years and therefore we know our way around here very well. We are happy to share our knowledge and experience about the country and its people and we are always happy to have cosmopolitan guests on our house. We have a particular preference for creative people. Michael is working as a musician, composer and producer for many years. He is happy to give a small concert for/with our guests in the evening with a glass of wine if the opportunity arises. We have free WIFI in the entire courtyard and you can grill on our covered terrace regardless of the weather.

Our spacious courtyard offers enough space for our guests with a spacious apartment, a double room, as well as two caravan sites and four tent sites. Our accommodations are clean & well equipped. They are especially perfect for couples or individuals. Both the apartment and the double room have their own bathroom with toilet and shower. The apartment also has a well-equipped kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator and coffee machine and is located in a separate part of the building (absolute privacy). For globetrotters and campers, as mentioned above, we offer two motorhome parking spaces on request. You can also camp safely and securely on our meadow in the courtyard. Camping equipment is available (please inquire beforehand). Our parking spaces are free of charge and, depending on availability, are either directly in our yard or front of the house (video-monitored). Our guests live in a central but quiet location, not far from the village center, where the village bar and the small village shop are also located. (2min walk). Reichesdorf (Richis) is the neighboring town of Biertan, known for the beautiful fortified church (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Our location is perfect for day trips in the surrounding area. By car you can reach: Schäßburg (40min), Medias (20min), Sibiu (50min), Transfagaras mountain road & Lake Balea (1h30min), Targu Mures (60min) - all on paved European and national roads. But there is also a lot to explore in the area on foot or by bike. Bicycles can also be rented from us. On the old vineyards and hills behind our house you can enjoy wonderful walks in untouched nature. And if the weather is right, you can even catch a gigantic view over the picturesque, Transylvanian hilly landscape to the snow-covered Fagaras mountain range.
