The Kauai Marriott is a beautiful place to stay. The room was very nice and comfortable and although there is no kitchen there is a mini refrigerator and coffee maker. The ocean view was fabulous. The staff there is exceptional and friendly. There is shopping and great restaurants nearby. They also provide a free airport shuttle service. I highly recommend this place.

Really great

Could have used a kitchen. Was not allowed to request 1 day shorter even though owner had not seen or signed the paperwork yet. Nervous that the owner took time to review and accept our booking. Made it difficult for last minute travel plans abd booking flights. But liked our stay overall. The beach , after much investigation was actually our favorite on the island besides hanalei bay. If I had to do it over I’d have booked one hotel up by princeville for half the vacation for hanalei bay access. And the rest here. Mind you it does take like 1.5 hours to get to Waimea canyon or something like that. Surprised we found this deal, seems like this hotel the royal sonesta is actually way more expensive usually. We didn’t eat at the resort. Too expensive. Which is why we would have preferred a kitchen.
