Welcome to The Kaweah Gem Suite in beautiful Three Rivers, California!

We are located at the entrance of Sequoia National Park. We are pleased to offer our two private, new riverfront suites. If you want one of the best riverfront experiences, this is it!

With a series of private waterfalls and pools on the Main Fork of the Kaweah River - the scenery is unmatched!

Hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy all that nature has to offer in an exclusive riverfront suite.

The Kaweah Gem Suite is one of two separate private suites and is immaculate.

Each has unique decor and includes special amenities such as fresh fruit, gourmet coffee, organic toiletries, and much more.

Spend the evening gazing at the star-studded sky on your private patio overlooking the Kaweah River. This is truly a glorious spot with the sounds of the river as background music for your stay.

We strive to make your stay a relaxing, secluded, elegant experience.

The private Kaweah Gem suite offers a large double headed shower for two, a luxurious Cal king bed, kitchenette, BBQ, games, small library, satellite TV and music.

The private Kaweah Gem suite offers spectacular, riverfront lodging in a private, peaceful setting.

Enjoy one of the best and most private swimming spots in the area. Historians know this spot as "Livingston's Swimming Hole".
Step out your door to a private river paradise that includes a waterfall and 'the lagoon'.

For your enjoyment, there are lounge chairs and a hammock on the bank of the river as well as an outdoor BBQ and fire pit. Relax as the sounds and sights of nature surround you. We also provide bicycles for your use.

Hiking, river rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding and boating are among the activities that are available close by. Many come to The River Jewel and just relax, nap, stargaze and enjoy nature.

******Now available: Our newly built sister property VRBO# 3830722. This is a high end studio. The newly appointed ANNEX SUiTE by Sequoia Park is amazing. Conveniently located off of Sierra Drive, ANNEX SUITE at the top of our six acre driveway and is connected to a stand alone garage. The luxurious interior of the 700 sq. ft. suite has 9 ft. high ceilings, granite countertops, stained concrete flooring, a huge wall mounted television, seating area , kitchenette, Cal King size bed and large glass enclosed shower with body sprays. The exterior has a private patio with a propane BBQ and a hammock for napping.

Staying here was an almost instant shedding of several layers of stress. We absolutely loved sitting outside by the river and exploring the little town down the road. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the house had everything we could ever need (and then some). We would love to be back one day to explore more hiking trails.

Excellent! Fabulous views! Comfortable bed. Clean accommodations. Right on the river - magnificent. We saw deer each day and even a bear one night as we were sitting outside eating dinner. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful location, amazing accommodations! We’ve made three annual trips over the last three years and plan to continue indefinitely. Location right on the River; incredible privacy. Close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park; although we’ve come here without going to Sequoia; it’s a destination in and if itself. Additionally we arrange massages on the patio overlooking the River. May is the perfect month to visit with wonderful weather & high water levels.

The Kaweah Gem is an absolutely stunning property! So many beautiful sitting areas along the river and the best river swimming hole I’ve ever seen! Too bad the river was just a bit too high for swimming while we were there. The outdoor kitchen is a complete kitchen with a fire pit, pond with water feature and umbrellas to keep off the hot sun while you dine. The suite itself is well appointed, comfortable and clean. We found the hosts to be very welcoming, warm and informative. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. Highly recommended.

Lovely riverfront retreat

We had a wonderful time at the Kaweah Gem. The suite had everything we needed to chill out and enjoy the river. The swimming hole was exceptional. Beautiful landscaping outside and updated, cozy and clean interior. Owners were very responsive and helpful.

Location location location…

This is an amazing property. It was wonderful to be able to sit and drink good coffee while watching and listening to the river flow. We enjoyed swimming in the cool water on a hot day. And we just soaked in all of the peacefulness. It was beautiful and comfortable, and it was nice to see wild quail and turkey on the road.

Beautiful property right on the river!

This suite was perfect for my husband and myself! The property was beautiful and right on the river. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of exploring the Sequoia National Park. I couldn't imagine a more peaceful setting, I highly recommend!

So enjoyable with River song

The accommodations were great. It has only one sink but everything else was great. If you rent make sure your neighbors don’t have kiddos cause you can hear them upstairs. Overall once the kids checked out it was perfect. We would stay here again!!!!! Loved the area and all the nature around the rental.

So Incredibly Beautiful!

The shower is absolutely incredible! Bed is nice and comfortable, and everything was decorated so beautifully. We loved the extra little snacks provided and the attention to detail. The walk to the river outside was gorgeous and we spent our New Years Eve by the fire pit listening to the river.

A Jewel Indeed

The River Jewel is more than a short-term rental, It’s an idyllic place that’ll make you go mental. In a setting that John Muir would’ve admired, it’ll make you wish you were retired, to be able to return next season, to enjoy this place, and for any reason!

Magical Spot

Magical is the only way to describe this spot! We rented because of it's proximity to Sequoia Nat'l Park but I would have been just as happy staying at the property all day. Every detail from the quality linens to the top notch appliances in the outdoor kitchen to the thoughtfully placed hammock by the river made this one of the nicest rentals I have ever stayed.

Perfect anniversary

Having been married in Sequoia 50 years ago we chose The River Jewel for our anniversary getaway and were not disappointed. Our room, Kaweah Gem, was the perfect spot! Diana has thought of everything, from a refrigerator for your wine to a coffee maker for the next morning. And what a view of the river from the spacious shower. Highly recommended!

Can't recommend highly enough!

It has all been said - setting is spectacular, suite is fantastic, bed extremely comfortable, owners couldn't be more helpful .... pictures just can't capture how nice the unit is and the beauty of the surroundings. Add to that the fact that Three Rivers is the perfect base to visit Sequoia National Park. We will be back I'm sure!

Stay Here - You Won't Regret The Decision

We stayed 3 nights at the River Jewel. It is located just outside the entrance to Sequoia National Park. The accommodations were wonderful and opening the windows to hear the river rushing by was a treat. If you are a couple looking for a great place near the park, stop looking and rent this one. The hosts live on the property but their house is several hundred feet and many trees away. Riverview Restaurant (dinner), Sierra Subs (lunch), and Gateway Restaurant (breakfast) were all good for the meals indicated. Get gas in Visalia if you want to pay a reasonable (for California) price. No Verizon cell service in Three Rivers but once you are at the River Jewel, you can connect to WiFi and make calls. I would also recommend that in addition to the park, check out Dry Creek Drive. Drive West on 198 from the River Jewel. After going around Lake Kaweah, turn right on 216 in Citro. Cross the creek and then turn right onto Dry Creek Drive. This is a fantastic drive with beautiful scenery, lots of bird watching and photo opportunities. Dry Creek will take you to 245 and a right turn will take you to Kings Canyon Park. Early morning is the best time for this drive. We had a great time and the three days went by much too quickly.

Our stay at the Kaweah Gem Suite in Three Rivers was truly a slice of heaven away from LA’s hustle and bustle. The peaceful setting, the beauty of the river, and the quiet serenity made it all the more enjoyable. Being surrounded by nature nourishes your soul and deepens your appreciation for everything around you.
