Beautiful vacation home with private pool, located directly on the promenade of Terracina, a historic and popular seaside resort in the Lazio region. The fully fenced property is surrounded by a beautiful garden and high hedges provided privacy. From the large, slightly elevated terrace in front of the house you have a magnificent view of the Gulf to the picturesque promontory of Circeo. Thanks to the furnished and seaside terrace and the large barbecue, guests can enjoy their meals outdoors and accompanied by the sound of the crashing waves. The house consists of two internally unconnected units. The interiors and furnishings are designed to provide every comfort: large living areas with three fireplaces, bedrooms (all but one) with direct access to the garden, two large kitchens, air conditioning. This vacation home can satisfy many preferences: from the pleasure of simply relaxing by the pool or just cross the street and lie on the beach to the opportunity to take a ferry / jet from the port in Terracina to visit the beautiful Pontine islands of Ponza and Ventotene, or even to go sightseeing tours to Rome (100 km) or Naples (163 km). Parking space on the property. A bike path runs directly in front of the house and along the entire waterfront, nearby there is the possibility of renting bicycles. The climate here is particularly mild thanks to the protection of the Monti Ausoni, which are located directly behind the city and thus protect it from cold air currents, so that even in the off-season sunny days can be spent by the sea, on the beach or generally outside. Crossing the street one is directly at the sandy beach, at the fish restaurants and the bars of the promenade and with only a short walk one reaches the beautiful old town with many restaurants, bars and stores of all kinds. Homer tells in his Odyssey about Odysseus, who on his odyssey stops also in Terracina, home of the sorceress Kirke, to observe the sea from the mountain, and then sails again to Ithaca. In addition to visiting the historical center, dating back to Roman times, you should also visit the famous temple of Giove Anxur, an imposing building overlooking the beach.
