Cozy cabin one block from lake, private beach and close to hiking/ biking trails

Knotty pine walls and vaulted ceilings make our cabin the perfect place for a vacation with family and friends, or a quiet getaway. One block off beautiful Lake Ripley with a private beach that includes a slide and a playground. Lake Ripley has great fishing all year around and is perfect for water sports like water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, paddleboarding and boating. There is a public launch.

Our cabin comes completely furnished with bed linens, bathroom towels and washcloths, washer and dryer. All mattresses and pillows have allergy and bed bug covers on them.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, silverware, drip and Kuerig coffee makers, toaster, full refrigerator, gas stovetop and oven, and microwave.

The cabin is equipped with WiFi and 3 smart TVs for streaming. There is a radio/speaker that is Bluetooth enabled.

The three season porch has enough seating for 8 along with a TV. There is an outdoor area with a gas grill, a patio table and a fire ring. There are two decks.

A paddle board and two bicycles are available for your use.

Downtown Cambridge offers shopping and restaurants. Close to a grocery store, bars, bowling alley, and miles of trails in the local parks for hiking and biking. Camrock Parks single track mountain biking trails are known as some of the best in the area and visited frequently by biking enthusiasts.

It was a great cabin, lots of room for to spread out. My kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft so they could catch up! My dtr goes to UW so it was nice being close by but not directly in the city. Good amenities in the kitchen. Txs

Beautiful cabin/house at Lake Ripley. Plenty of amenities for inside as well as outside. The kitchen is totally stocked and you will also find lawn chairs, lake rafts and more for outdoors.I think our favorite part was trying to decide which of the comfortable rooms or porches to sit and just enjoy our time. Wonderful hosts, this was our second year and planning to return!

This property was everything promised and exactly as shown! I asked a lot of questions in prep for our stay and got quick answers to them all! Although there are quite a few other little cottages around this property, it was never a problem. It was welcoming, cozy and very clean! The linens were amazing!!! We will stay here again!

Cute and cozy

We had a great time at Lake Ripley and this beautiful home had everything we could possibly need! We loved using the paddle board and fire pit.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful family weekend. The house was clean and well maintained. The location couldn’t have been better with just a short walk to the playground and beach. The owners were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely recommend!

Cabin in a lakeside community

The house was lovely and well appointed. We particularly enjoyed the enclosed porch and fire pit area. We enjoyed the community's private beach on Lake Ripley and their park. We took advantage of local opportunities to hike and kayak on the Yahara River while staying there.

Cozy and comfortable

We had a very nice stay while visiting Wisconsin for a cyclocross race. The location was great and the house was wonderful. Very comfortable and with everything we needed. Communication with Donna was awesome and we really appreciated getting all the checkin information several days in advance of our stay. We hope to stay again!

Cozy Stay

We decided to try and book a last minute trip near home and we found the perfect place! Very clean place. Stocked with kitchen utensils. Comfy furniture. Quiet and beautiful location. Close to downtown and the lake.

Cambridge cabin

We enjoyed our time together at this cozy cabin. Appreciate having some games available. Wish we could have enjoyed the outside areas but it was too chilly for these southerners!

great value, nice people

We had a nice experience! used the fireplace inside and the firepit outside. Nicely decorated and very clean. Met the owner and he gave us some local ideas of things to do. The Community was very welcoming. I would stay again.

Perfect for a cozy family weekend

Thanksgiving at Lake Ripley

We traveled to the area to spend Thanksgiving with our daughter who is a student at the University of Wisconsin. The cabin was the perfect home away from home. The cabin was clean and cozy. We were able to prepare a complete Thanksgiving dinner with the well stocked kitchen(there even was a roasting pan!). We would definitely consider booking this cabin again.

Great spot for a family retreat

Everything was as advertised! The owner communicated well and was responsive to questions. We loved the screened porch and outdoor areas (deck, yard, firepit). It made the space seem so much larger. The cabin is only a couple of blocks from a small, private beach and playground. It had easy access to lots of hiking trails and all that Madison has to offer!

We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to have you stay again. Madison is just a short drive away with all the things it has to offer and with all the parks in and around Cambridge there is hiking and biking trails for all ages. We’re glad you got to take advantage of these things.
