Take advantage of the location to have easy jaunts to Ali'i Drive where you can find shopping, dining, and a constant ocean view. Come home after a day at the beach to turn on the A/C unit which cools the entire house quietly and effortlessly. If you need to take a work call or just Zoom your friends or family, the free high-speed WiFi can more than accommodate you. Don't forget to take a day poolside which has plenty of loungers, shade when you need it, and a beautiful pool.
For the best oceanfront shopping and dining, head .5 miles down to Ali'i Drive. Shopping, you'll find anything you need from "slippahs" (flip-flops) to board shorts, to jewelry. Dining you can have a wide range of experiences from breakfast at Lava Java to a happy hour at Laverne's, Huggo's, or even mainland favorite Outback Steakhouse. Pick up an excursion boat or lounge on the sand at Kailua Harbor just .4 miles away. For a tour, alfresco dining, and fun for everyone, go see the newly remodeled Kona Brewery less than a mile away. Great Location
Some reviews claimed it was dated. The place isn’t bad at all. A fan in the bathroom would be my only comment. The rest of the place was great. You’re only a 8 minutes walk to the main stretch of restaurants, beaches, cafe etc
A ten minute drive from the airport. We’d loved our stay here.

Short stay on the Big Island
This property was adequate for our needs however there were several disappointing items. There were many stairs at this property and no elevator that was not clearly disclosed, difficult for people with mobility issues. The parking space was far from the unit. The condo was a little tired. The description claimed it had been recently updated but the only thing we saw was newer flooring in the bedroom and living room. The bath tub was dirty and stained. The A/C in the living room was not adequate to cool the entire unit, had the temperature been higher it would have been very uncomfortable. We would not rent this unit again.

Try someplace else
Close to downtown Kona. There was no hot tub as advertised, no hair dryer as advertised, smoke/CO2 alarm started chirping midway through our visit as battery was old so have we did not have protection, very little furniture, bed was way too high off the ground and shower did not have a safety grab bar which was needed and kitchen was minimally stocked, ie no pitcher for water. I would not return to this unit or recommend to anyone.

Central location, easy communication
Great communication from Vacasa! They were also quick to respond to any additional inquiries we had during our stay.
The place was on the second story, had keypad entry and a small patio. The property was lush and green.
The interior of our unit was clean upon arrival. A/C worked great. Fridge included ice trays (bring ziplock bags to fill if you may need ice for a picnic). Basic dry seasonings and olive oil were in the cupboards. Also included were plenty of pots and pans and plates and utensils. Fridge, ironing board, toaster, microwave, coffee pot (you will BYO your coffee and need your own large size filters). There were 2 beach towels and one styrofoam body board in the closet for use also. There is a community gas grill in the pool area. You will also want to BYO foil or Saran Wrap or baggies if you have any leftovers or plan to take sandwiches to the beach. Overall clean space, locally situated, and decent price!

Awesome spot
The location was perfect for walking the town. The condo was MUCH bigger than the photos presented, and really cozy. Fold out couch was perfect for the kiddo and the neighbors were friendly.
