Welcome to Beachy Keen, a spacious 7-bedroom OCEANFRONT ½ duplex with over 2,200 square feet of living space—ideal for family getaways or a refreshing work-from-home retreat. Wake up to the sound of waves and panoramic views of the emerald waters and sugar-white sand.

Inside Your Beachfront Escape:
Main (3rd) Level – Open-concept living and dining areas with stunning ocean views. The fully equipped kitchenboasts granite countertops & stainless steel appliances. Two bedrooms (each with queen-size beds) are also on this level.

2nd Floor – The oceanfront master suite features a king bed, ensuite bath, and private deck. Two additional bedrooms share a full bath—one with a queen-size bed, the other with two twin beds.

1st Floor – Another oceanfront master suite with a king bed & ensuite bath, plus a seventh bedroom with two twin beds.

Entertainment & Comfort – WiFi and ROKU-enabled TVs in the main living area and six of the seven bedrooms.

Family Vacation

The property perfectly meet our needs. Our multigenerational family needed something on the beach and convenient to meet up with other families staying close by. It was accurately described and well appointed. We would definitely stay at this house again.

This was the perfect stay for my family. The house was gorgeous, spacious, and super convenient to everything. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to feed all our folks. Justin was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place, quiet, and has everything you need

Seven of us who all work together so enjoyed this home! Especially sitting out on the back deck just listening to the ocean. It was very clean, the beds slept great, we literally wanted for nothing except wishing we could have stayed longer!

Excellent stay in a perfect location

We had a fantastic stay. The house was clean and accurately described. Owners communication was great, fast to answer any questions we had. The house is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood and being beach front was such a plus with young kids. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for families!

We had a great stay at Beachy Keen! The neighborhood was pretty and very convenient to Publix and the other shops. The third floor living area allowed for beautiful views both inside and outside. The bedroom/bathroom floor plan works really well for multiple families or multiple generations. It was a lovely trip!

Beautiful, cozy, perfect

This was one of the best stays I've had. This property is beautiful. Justin is extremely welcoming and made sure we all felt at home and comfortable during our stay. We had one baby, 1 toddler, and 8 adults with room to spare.

Relaxing vacation!

The house was exactly as described on VRBO. Close, private access to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet. Short walk to the pool for those who don't enjoy the beach. Justin was very accomodating and responded quickly when an issue occurred.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This beautiful, super clean, spacious ocean front property was perfect for our annual family retreat. We loved watching the sunrise from the upper deck each morning, and having both elderly and young children in our party, the private boardwalk to the beach made for such easy access for snacks, restroom breaks, etc. Justin kept tabs to make sure we were enjoying our stay and was a pleasure to book with. Can’t recommend Beachy Keen enough!

Beachy Keen "Bliss"

For my lifelong friends and I, we try to attend an annual trip, 35 yrs strong now. This year we chose Emerald Isle and I found Beachy Keen while searching VRBO last year. This home is beautiful, well maintained and a slice of paradise that you shouldn't miss. The owner is very communicative, helpful, kind and the oceanfront views are outstanding! Lovely beachfront duplex

We stayed here many years ago under a different name. It’s clear the current owners have done a lot of re-furnishing as well as adding an additional bedroom which made it perfect for our gang. Only the Wi-fi and internet connection was disappointing. We’ll probably go again next year!

Wonderful home, great host!

This home was everything we could have asked for...oceanfront in a great location, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and a host who was very easy to work with. Having the pool right across the street was so convenient for our little ones. Kitchen supplies were plentiful, and having an extra fridge in the garage was a lifesaver. Key code access is a real plus as well. Justin and his family have thought of everything for their guests, and we would definitely stay here again!

GREAT vrbo rental! My favorite so far.

Great experience here. Beautiful home. Sufficient towels, linens and blankets. Could use more kitchen towels. I made some suggestions to the owner and he was very kind and receptive. The beach view is amazing. I LOVE the beach access. Decorations are nice and the openness of the floor plan is another thing i LOVE. I hope to come back to this rental. Its my favorite 😍. Tracy

Ocean front deck was wonderful!

There were 7 of us ladies and we loved having our own room. It’s hard to find a 7 bedroom house! The house was great! We loved the nice oceanfront deck. Since it was very windy we thoroughly enjoyed the view!

Short Holiday

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property and home. It is exactly as described with easy access to the beach and beautiful deck views. The bedrooms and living spaces are well appointed, the communications were easy, and Justin made sure we had everything we needed. We would love to return!

My wife Missy and I love the ocean and owning a beach house has long been a dream of ours - we are excited to share that dream with you and your families. We love sitting on one of the many decks, grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the late afternoon while watching the dolphins as they make their way up the coast. This is our home away from home and we look forward to many days on the beach with our children.

On our first visit to Emerald Isle we fell in love - with the beaches, the people, and the family-friendly atmosphere. Emerald Isle is a south facing beach, offering views of beautiful sunrises in the morning and sunsets in the evening. It is a gorgeous place to be year round and was voted the best beach in North Carolina by USA Today in 2018.

This property is a duplex and has a private deck and a private walkway to the beach, not shared with the other half of the duplex. If you are looking for a place right on the beach that is comfortable and family oriented, you have found it!
