Located just moments from the Highway 169 & 394. Conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and 20 minutes from the airport.

The house is completely remodeled and thoughtfully set with comfort and luxury in mind! Enjoy features such as KING Beds, a dedicated workspace for Remote Working, Smart T.V.'s in the Bedrooms & Living Room, Washer & Dryer and much more!

The space
Completely remodeled home located on 3/4 of an acre lot full of trees and privacy. Each bedroom has a King Bed with a 55" TV to relax in. One room is dedicated to an office space with a large desk and sofa bed to accommodate working from home. Daybed for the kids to sleep. Game space for family game night. 70" Tv in the living room for movies and your favorite sports team.

This is a terrific house--very comfortable, clean, and convenient. The kitchen always ends up being the center of our family gatherings and this kitchen space was just perfect for preparing meals, sitting and chatting, and dining.

Just right

We needed a place on the west side of the Twin Cities. Close enough to downtown and some western suburbs to spent time w friends. This was perfect. Great location, comfortable and clean.

Great stay

The house was as described, clean, great location to everything we needed including business, restaurants , shopping, lake Minnetonka, downtown Minneapolis. The checkin was very easy and the host was very responsive.

Great for our family

This property was great for our needs! We were in town visiting family and this property was about a 10 minute drive from them. It was well suited for all ages! We had kids from 1 to 14 with us. Everything was clean, plenty of sleeping space and room to hangout. The kids enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys throughout our stay as well. Will stay again for sure!

Clean, comfortable house, nice patio, great location

The house is well furnished with very comfy king beds and a well stocked kitchen. The patio with grill is in a great green space with mature trees, pleasant for summer dinners. The location allows for easy access to visit family all over the area. Highly recommended.

Perfect house

This was the perfect house for our week long stay (wife and daughter) in the Minneapolis area. The house was beautifully renovated and it had all the necessities. The location was awesome! Quiet neighborhood but was super convenient in getting all over the suburbs and city. I would definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Great location and host

Our family has a wonderful time staying at this house for a week. The location is incredible and the host was easy to communicate with. The cleanliness of the house could have been a little better but otherwise it’s the perfect place to stay.

Everything expected and more!

If we could give this property 10 stars we would. We hosted a small Team meeting, this property offered a great space for a very comfortable and productive meeting - the huge TV made a great computer screen! We were able to bake up a lasagna and eat on the back deck and set up a small studio in the basement for Team photos and headshots. And overnight stay for a few "way" out of the area Team members. The way the world works has changed so much, for this "office" from home Team, this was a beyond perfect alternative to a Board room for our Annual Planning Day... it was everything we needed it to be for an exceptionally productive, bonding and inspiring day!! You have been the perfect hosts....when we plan for next years meeting, I am guessing this option will be on the top of the Teams list. The basement suite far exceeded expectations! Three King size beds, plus more... and the two bathrooms were impeccably clean! A few more coffee mugs would be very helpful, there were only 3. Thank you again!! It was great to get up and go in the morning not worrying about garbage or linens too! Truly a wonderful stay!!

Awesome stay!

This property was great for our smaller sized group! Enough room to stay for everyone, furnished perfectly, and we had little need to leave for anything at all. Communication was also great from the host. Would stay again and recommend to anyone!

Right at home!

Our group had the best time staying here. There was plenty of space for us to hang out together or go retreat for some alone time. The house was well stocked with the essentials, which was great for the 9 of us. Also noteworthy, was the cleanliness. All in all we would recommend this vacation rental.

Comfortable and clean.

Beds were comfortable and home was clean. The back yard would have been fun to use in the summer or fall. The listing did not mention the stairs which were a problem for my elderly mother. After we reserved the verbo, the host did tell us about the stairs. We would definitely stay again if my mom were not going to be there.

Great home for a group

We stayed here for a family Christmas. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house is adorably decorated and had everything we needed (dishes, pans, silverware, even a pack n play!). The host was extremely responsive, even on Christmas Day!

Thanksgiving stay

Perfect home for our Thanksgiving trip visiting family. With two little kids, the house was perfectly laid out to keep kids within eye range and safe from stairs. Home was very clean, kitchen fully stocked with everything we needed, very comfortable beds. Hosts highly responsive. Would stay again!

Beautiful, modern with lots of space

We absolutely loved staying in this charming and beautifully decorated home. The layout worked really well for gathering as a family and the beds were super comfy which is hard to find in a rental.

Perfect getaway!

We loved staying at this property for our four day trip to Minneapolis! We were lucky to find this house that is located near so many great things Minneapolis has to offer, but also tucked away in a quiet neighborhood! And as everyone else has commented, yes, the beds are actually that comfortable! We loved having a fire in the backyard, being able to cook and eat a meal in a functioning kitchen was a gift! Plenty of room for a family of four, will definitely stay again when we make it back to the area!

Summer girls get away

The home is beautiful and spacious with a cute deck. Only reason everything wasn’t 5 stars is due to the AC being off during one of the hottest weeks so it took the whole weekend to get the house below 80

Location, location, location!

Great host, very responsive! Tonka House was perfect for our group of 5. It was pretty windy and cool so we weren’t able to enjoy the beautiful deck and yard. It had all the amenities you could want or need. We will definitely go back when the need arises.

Family Friendly Beautiful Home

We were in Minneapolis for a family wedding and my grandkids and adult children needed a house that had enough room for everyone and a big, well-equiped kitchen to feed them. This house was perfect. Beautiful and roomy as pictured. Deck and outdoor grill for outside meals. When you have a toddler and 3 year old grandkids, having enough room for them to play and nap was essential. Our host, Cecilia responded almost immediately to our questions and request. The best host I've experienced, and I've stayed at VRBO's not only in the US, but in other countries too.

Relaxing Girls Weekend

5 of us girls stayed here for the weekend. We could not have been more happy with the property. It was beautifully decorated, our sleeping arrangements were SO comfortable, we loved the big and private backyard. We truly loved our stay! Old home with a facelift

My large family party stayed in this property from the west coast for our cousins wedding. Check in was super easy. The location and neighborhood was perfect since it was just right off the highway. Walking into the home, everything looked clean and accurate to the pictures provided. Very quickly we were reminded that this was an old home that was just renovated. The floors are VERY squeaky. In the middle of the night we could be woken up anytime someone was walking to the bathroom. The room doors are also loud when having to open or close them. Part of the kitchen island table was also lifting. Shower water pressure is low. We didn’t utilize the backyard, but it is large and spacious. Sometimes we would have a view of visiting turkeys, which was fun for our little one to see. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. I will say the beds, although large, were rock hard. The best mattresses were the downstairs couch with pull out bed. Check out was also fairly easy and manageable. All in all, it was a good stay. It was a large clean place to stay that fit us all. We just had to deal with the extremely loud squeaky floor boards.

Family Visit for Baptism

This was the best VRBO experience we have had. Great communication from owner with very clear direction on how to check in and out and workings of house, good location (quiet neighborhood, but close to highway to get to Minneapolis and one stop from Wayzata), house is totally renovated and very well-appointed (quintessential Magnolia style), beds were super comfortable, large backyard and nice deck. We were there in mid-June. AC worked well. So did washer and dryer. Just a great experience all around.

Perfect Spot and a Beautiful Home

Our family of 4 stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay! The kitchen is beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. It is near the highway so it was a quick 20-25 min drive anywhere we wanted to go. The host is a pleasure to work with. We will be back!
