Beautiful cabin and grounds!

Our family really enjoyed staying in this cabin! The creek/babbling brook and outdoor fireplace were both so relaxing! Bob and Tracy were very friendly and full of knowledge when it comes to the area. Our WY vacation was definitely a success!

What a perfect place to stay while enjoying the beauty of the Bighorn Mountains! Bob and Tracy are the nicest people, and we look forward to seeing them again! The cabin is spacious, well-appointed, and the perfect setting to hear the flowing creek and see the mountains from the deck. (Yes, just like the picture!) We loved having the fireplace on the patio. We had a wonderful stay! Thanks, Bob, Tracy, and Posie!

Fantastic Getaway in Sheridan

Historic cabin at the base of the Big Horn mountains. It was well maintained and had several recent upgrades to make for a very comfortable stay. The hosts were very gracious and welcoming. The outdoor fireplace was awesome (and used every night) and the sound of the creek was very calming. We had a fantastic time.

Wonderful log cabin

What a great place. Sitting by Big Goose creek, listening to the rushing water while having an evening cocktail is guaranteed to release stress. Host and hostess are the best

Incredible Family Experience

We had an incredible time as a family staying at the Boyle’s cabin. They’ve gone above and beyond on having everything needed, comfortable beds, fun outdoor spaces. The location is the perfect combination of getting away from everything while being close enough to Sheridan to go in for activities. We will definitely be back.

Perfect cabin in a beautiful setting/location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Owners were fantastic and provided lots of information about activities and dining options in the Sheridan area. I can't say enough about the setting for this cabin. Quiet and serene location on a small creek with views of the Bighorns yet only 20 minutes from Sheridan. It was only my husband and I, but the home has lots of space and 4 bedrooms with one of them being a great bedroom for children. Will definitely stay here next time we're in the Sheridan area.

Great location just outside of town

We enjoyed the cabin very much. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The owners are very kind and accommodating. They do their barn chores nearby so you can see them everyday if you have questions. Their sweet dog likes to come visit at the front door. Great views of the mountains in the distance. A true Wyoming experience!

Amazing

Our family took a weekend getaway up to Sheridan recently and had the pleasure of staying at Bob and Tracy’s cabin. Everything about the trip was amazing. The relaxing sounds of the creek, the views, deck and fire pit were just some of the highlights. We have younger kids and they had a blast. But best of all was the kind and generous hospitality that the Boyle family offered. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful spot!

We had a wonderful stay, three adults and two dogs. Gorgeous cabin in an idyllic setting. The pictures don’t do it justice! Cabin is well appointed - comfy beds and linens, plenty of seating in the great room, several different table options for eating. We cooked all of our meals at the house and found the kitchen to have all the utensils, pots and pans we needed. Cabin is airy and bright and clean. Surrounding grounds are lovely with plenty of space for long walks. Deck has loungers and more cozy seating. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous home surrounded by cows grazing in the nearby pasture, horses in the field, chickens and turkeys wandering the yard. Five stars!

This place is amazing!

Our stay at the cabin was amazing! We had excellent communications pre-trip with Bob, our host, great instructions to get to the cabin, and spoke with the Hosts daily. The cabin is situated right on the creek and surrounded by trees and meadows and beautiful horses. We loved the family dog who was so incredibly friendly to us and our dog. With all the craziness of a wedding, the cabin was a fantastic place to come back to for some rest. This was the complete package; great Hosts, an amazing cabin placed in a wonderful setting. Our hope is next time were in Sheridan, the cabin is available.

Best property to stay at. Coffee on the deck, next to the creek, was one of the most relaxing parts of our stay. Meeting us and giving us a tour of the cabin made it easy to settle in. Everything was clean and nicely laid out. We could not of asked for a better host. We can't wait to come back! They were there for us if we ever needed them (which we did not due to everything being so great). They had animals that were so kind, gentle and well trained. They added bonus points to the property forsure.

The perfect weekend getaway

4 of us (all adults) came to Sheridan over rodeo weekend. The cabin is perfectly situated along Big Goose Creek about 15 minutes outside of Sheridan. Being able to leave town at the end of each day and retreat to the solitude of the cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin is both beautiful and historic. It is perfectly equipped with everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. There nothing I would change. Truly perfect! Owners are on the property and Bob greeted us when we arrived. The place just has a really great feel and we all would happily return.

Great place!

This was an awesome place. It was just my brother & I taking our 1st vacation together since we were 14 & 15 yrs old. What a cabin. It has everything you need. An awesome deck right at Big Goose Creek, and you never get tired of the sound. But its the only sound you hear as it is incredibly quiet. And it was so nice to smell clean air, pine trees, sage brush. We were visited by a flock wild turkeys the first morning, and there are deer around. Beds were very comfortable and I had forgotten how well you can sleep out West. Great place to stay, Bob & Tracey were great hosts. I already sent their info to a friend who was also interested in staying there. I love Wyoming!

South Dakota Family of Four

Bob and Tracy were there when we arrived and did a great job welcoming us to their cabin. Bob showed us around and let us know they were available if we needed anything. The cabin was much larger than I thought and the outdoor space was great! Plenty of outdoor seating to choose from on the deck or in front of the fireplace. They have everything you need, including a W/D combo and clothesline for larger items that needed more time to dry. We stayed for 3 nights and had a fire outside each night. Boys enjoyed the Wi-Fi so they could stream YouTube, however they had outdoor activities available, like ping pong and basketball. Great place and highly recommend!

Sheridan / Bighorn

Wonderful stay. Ideal location and the cabin & hosts were great. Nice & quiet with nothing but the sound of the creek, animals and "nature". The kitchen had everything we needed and the fireplace kept the evening temperatures perfect. Definitely a place we are hoping to stay again!

Perfect Vacation

Bob was a great host meeting us upon arrival and showing us around. The cabin was clean and the photos can't come close to seeing it in person! Both my husband and I fell in love with it. The acreage around the cabin was as wonderful as the inside. The creek behind the cabin provided a relaxing sound for us to sit outside and listen to. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Next time we will!

A True Slice of Heaven

We believe it was serendipity that we found this slice of heaven along the Big Goose Creek. We were in Bighorn for an art event, which was spectacular, but the highlight of our 3 nights was the time spent at Bob & Tracy's amazing property! Being nature lovers, this was just the perfect place to spend our weekend, along with our Golden Retriever who thought she was in doggie heaven too! The property is quiet & relaxing, and the deck...oh my goodness, I could have slept out there! Very well equipped with plenty of room for two+ couples or a family! It was just my husband and I so we didn't use all the rooms but our bedroom, bathrooms, the kitchen, living room/dining room...so prefect for our needs. And did I mention the deck? The outside was the kicker. Horses, chickens, deer abounding, wild turkeys, birds, and their wonderful Bernese Mountain Dog "Posie", and the views! I miss it already. Best of all, Bob & Tracy and the most wonderful, down to earth hosts and we hope our paths cross again. Can't wait to go back.
