Loved our stay

This property is beautifully appointed and equipped. We really enjoyed meeting Lesley and her family. We have stayed in many many vacation rentals and this rates in the top. We want to stay here again!

Great Stay!

This was a perfect place to stay. It was decorated so nicely, the beds were comfortable, the location perfect. I can't say enough good things about it. They were attentive to our needs and friendly. They took the time to give us ideas on places to eat. We had a wonderful visit and would stay there again!

Tasteful, serene, beautiful, ideal location

Lesley and her sister Shana , who is on the ground, curate the ideal upper Kitsilano Vrbo experience . You instantly feel like you’ve come home to a home that is charming, cozy, functional, and well provisioned . The furniture and amenities are excellent. It is bright , tastefully, decorated and warm. The neighborhood is ideal and it feels like it’s your home. I’ll be back !

Great Find!

We loved this cute cottage in Kitsilano! Lesley was a great host and provided excellent, timely instructions. The house had everything we needed and was larger than it appeared in the photos. We particularly appreciated the dedicated workspace as well as the comfy porch. (And we loved meeting the shy dog next door who would sometimes come out to visit!) The house is nestled in a quiet, leafy street just a few minutes walk to great restaurants and cafes. We highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit!

This is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. The location is easily accessible to many attractions, restaurants and shopping. The check in/check out process was easy. A very comfortable place to stay in a beautiful city.

The property was lovely, quaint and with a great location!

We had a wonderful stay! We spent a great deal of time getting to know Vancouver and staying here was a great way to do just that. As many have said, there are many nearby restaurants and places to explore. I would certainly recommend staying here, but it would help you to remember that while it's on a beautiful tree-lined street, the houses are pretty close together and you can pretty much hear your neighbors talk, think....(lol), as in sometimes, they are louder than you are - and not because they are rude or anything like that - it was just a matter of proximity. So trying to take a nap, for example, (or read) while they're sitting outside was not so easy. Best to keep a pair of earbuds with you. All in all, it was a great place. Very clean, neat, eclectic and wonderfully situated and decorated!

Very clean, comfortable plus everything you need!!

My husband and in-laws stayed Monday-Friday. Plenty of space, very clean and comfortable. We each had a very nice room with our own full baths. Wonderful neighbors and neighborhood. No complaints at all. Would consider staying there again if available.

Great house and location

This is in a great location; very walkable area with lots of activities and restaurants within a few blocks. Our daughter loved the park at Kits beach. Lesley (the host) was very responsive and the house has a lot of natural light and is on a quiet tree lined street. One note if you're traveling during the summer - as is typical with many houses in Vancouver, this house does not have air conditioning but the doors and windows have screens and you an get a great breeze. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

A Vancouver Gem

My family and I loved staying in this traditional Vancouver style home on a peaceful tree-lined street. Completely refurbished and redecorated, this home is functional as well as beautiful. There are wonderful style and artistic choices all around the home, that make it a pleasure to live in. Of course most of the time of the holiday we were out and about, but loved returning to our 'slice of heaven' accommodation. The beds and linen are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is top notch, and the lounge area is comfortable and relaxing. The central location is terrific - we made use of the proximity to walk or bus places, as well as a designated parking space. Being close to Burrard St, there is the usual traffic noise that can be expected of a central location that can be noticeable at night (i am pretty sensitive to noise though). The front bedroom has windows that are completely sound-proof, which is terrific. In the master bedroom the noise is minimal due to the position at the back of the house - and so was not at a disruptive level at all at night with the doors/windows open. We have already recommended the home to our friends if they have out of town visitors, and hope to have the opportunity to return one day as well. The property manager, Lesley, was efficient and accommodating. All in all, a 5 star stay. Thank you -

Lovely stay close to South Granville

The house was wonderful and the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Perfect location for shopping on South Granville, Granville Island Public Market and just generally being a tourist.

Great setting and location

Lovely Townhouse

The Modage was a great choice for our stay in Vancouver. There was plenty of space for us (two couples), it was very well appointed and in wonderful condition. The neighborhood itself was also lovely. We enjoyed using the gas fireplace for some really cool (low 40's) evenings. It was conveniently located to bus stops and it was very easy to get downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

A breath of fresh air - spacious and perfectly located

After being cramped in a standard hotel room up north for a few days, arriving in Vancouver to stay in this lovely home was a breath of fresh air for my family of 4. Perfectly located, nicely decorated, and very clean - and enough rooms (and bathrooms) that everyone had their own personal space. Being able to cook in the fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, and there were lots of restaurants, takeout options and grocery stores nearby. We stayed for a week and easily travelled everywhere in and around Vancouver, on foot , by transit, and by car (free street parking was always available). The owner was very responsive to any questions/requests we had, and made sure we had no worries and got to thoroughly enjoy our holiday. We would love to return to Vancouver one day to experience spring or summer there and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this house again. Highly recommend.

Great home in a great location

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay here. Wonderfully clean and spacious for our group of 3, and in a fantastic location for getting to everywhere we needed to go while in Vancouver. We won't consider staying anywhere else when returning to the city. Thanks so much for having us!

Lovely home, great location! Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, well laid out for our 2 adult, 2 child family and quiet. Walkable to Kits shops, groceries and restaurants. Parking was a breeze. Don't miss the tasty cafe for breakfast right around the corner!

Highly recommend

This was a great place for us! It's in a convenient location, and within walking distance of many restaurants. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were books about places to visit while in Vancouver that were helpful. The heated floors were wonderful!

Lovely, quiet home in convenient location

This is a lovely holiday rental, more a home from home. It's furnished with warm, homely touches and big enough to sleep four people comfortably (five would be a squeeze). It's well run, very well cared for and the neighbours are all friendly and welcoming. It's convenient for Kits (if a little off-pitch for the beach), Granville Island and downtown and in a leafy, quiet road away from the main hustle and bustle. We had a great time and will rent it again when we return to Vancouver.

We had a wonderful stay in Vancouver the house is well located and very clean. The host is so helpful and even added little tags on tv, washing machine, Internet etc with instructions. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed for the few meals we prepared at home. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. We will stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Great escape!!

Our stay in Kitsilano/Vancouver was perfect thanks to this wonderful house. It had a cozy fireplace which we really enjoyed and the master bedroom was huge. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was great, short drive into the city, to the airport and to all the great spots to visit around Vancouver. Lesley was always quick to answer emails. Loved it and would go back!

Modern, beautiful and comfortable!

This place is lovely! Definitely the most well-appointed, stylish VRBOs we've stayed in. The house is in a great location but very quiet (despite being one of three units in a single building, we heard almost no noise from the other units). Everything in the house is beautiful. I want whoever decorated it to come work on my house! And the extra den worked perfectly for an extra bedroom for our toddler.

This townhouse was not built as a vacation rental but as my home. In the middle of building I met my husband, and now live elsewhere. I devoted 100s of hours scouring shops to find just the right pieces. I hope you like it as much as I do!

The home is very centrally located on a beautiful quiet tree-lined street. It is just steps from major bus routes along Broadway, Fourth Avenue, Burrard and Granville Street where you can catch public transport to almost everywhere.

Trendy shopping areas of South Granville and Fourth Avenue are just a 5 minute walk, and Kits beach, Granville Island and Robson Street are less than 20 minutes by foot and a few minutes by car. Stanley Park is a 10 minute car ride. Some of the cities best restaurants are located within walking distance, as are a number of children's parks.
