Large cozy log cabin in Wisconsin, Close to miles of ATV/ UTV trails

This beautiful updated 3600 sq ft log home nestled in the north woods of Wisconsin on the Knapp river and only 1.5 hours from the Twin Cities. This area is known for its towering white pines and people like former President Calvin Coolidge even stayed in the old lodge just down the driveway. Three large bedrooms and a bunk room in the basement allow for a large group to stay and enjoy each others company without tripping over each other. The Kitchen is stocked with everything you'd need to make a great meal or do a little baking. If that isn't your style, just snuggle up to the large gas fireplace in the living room and read a book or take a nap. This cabin is very spacious and flows very well. Large T.V room/ game room in the basement. Bring your "A" game and challenge your family or friends to a game of table shuffleboard, darts or "A hole" a wisconsin favorite along with many other board games and puzzles to choose from. The Knapp river runs thru the property and sitting down by there is a great place to take a nap listening to the water flowing over the rocks, keep an eye out for trout in the river or the deer that come down to get a drink on a warm day. Great place to have family and friends to get away and enjoy a campfire in the north woods over looking the river . Bring your snowmobiles /side by side (wheelers) and enjoy 100's of miles of trails right out your door. Lots of lakes, restaurants, winery's, parks, trails and other attractions in the area. Do yourself a favor and get away to the great outdoors of Wisconsin!
JFI ...We also do a country Christmas theme every year from the weekend after Thanksgiving till the end of January. Bring the family and presents and Stay in by the fire or go out and play in the snow..we take care of all the Christmas decorating.

This cabin was beautiful! The views were beautiful. The rooms were spacious and plenty of bathrooms (cause 4 adult males IYKYK). The rooms were spaced out enough where we didn't feel like we were on top of eachother. Nice common & game rooms We played darts and shuffle board for hours! Kitchen was well equipped to feed 8 people. We weren't required to do a lot for clean-up. This was a birthday getaway for our closest friends and the cabin just made it perfect. Already planning another trip. This was a weekend trip so we didn't have alot of time to explore but there seems like there was a lot of outdoors to take advantage of. Lance was was receptive and quick to respond. It was a smooth weekend. The only negative was that there were some soft spots on the deck and the railing was a bit precarious but sounds like it was to be addressed soon. *the melaleuca cleaners were just an added bonus to the trip.

This home is beautiful and well laid out. Great views of Godā€™s country. Plenty of space for our group of 10 women for our annual girlā€™s weekend. 3 bathrooms were very welcome! The second morning we were there, the smoke detector battery was chirping. Owner was notified and within 20 minutes, someone was there to fix it. Overall, the experience in this home was amazing. There are a few things that we want to note but please know that NONE of these things would keep us from returning in the future.The homeowner did advise us prior to our arrival that the railings around the deck are unsafe - we found that to be true and needed to cautious. Also, the green egg grill was not usable and not removed or replaced. It would be nice to have an additional refrigerator and cupboard space for our food/snacks, and some folding chairs that could be used around the kitchen table when needed.We did discover that one of the beds sheets had not been changed but we assumed that a past renter made the bed, and cleaner wasnā€™t aware it needed to be changed. On the morning of leaving, there were mouse droppings in the kitchen. Although a normal thing in the fall, still not something we want to see. Again - none of these things would keep us from returning in the future.

This is a beautiful home, very clean. There was nothing lacking. The beds and linens were very comfortable. It was a little hard to find but that was because the street signs were absent or confusing. It would be fun to come back and use the lower level activities with my family.Thank you Lance for your hospitality.

Went UTVing during the day. Cabin was perfect for breakfast and a great place to return to at the end of a day, prepare a meal and spend time together as a family. Cabin was clean, comfortable and accommodating. Enjoyed by all!

This house is beautiful! Inside was as shown and very clean. The beds are all very comfortable. Spent 3 nights for our annual sister weekend. We got lost trying to find the house but the owner was very helpful and easy to reach to assist us. Once there, we enjoyed the quiet and seclusion.

Check in was easy! Home is beautiful and well stocked. The grills were dangerous and in bad shape. Owner did warn us. Unfortunately, the owner had mislabeled the set-up of the home. There is only 2 king bedsā€¦ not 3. There is 3 queen beds and one futon. We were disappointed in that as we specifically picked this home by the bedroom setup. Mosquitoes were horrible! Unable to enjoy the beautiful sceneryā€¦ thatā€™s no oneā€™s fault! If looking for sxs trailsā€¦ I would recommend staying closer to Danbury.

Wedding weekend

Hiking the dice Age Trail

We are a group of women hiking the Ice Age Trail. The location of this cabin made it possible for us to be in close proximity of the trails. After hiking it was nice to come back to this cabin and relax.

Amazing Cabin Vibes!

Beautiful cabin in the woods! Was perfect for my bachelorette weekend! Very warm and cozy, lots of games and shuffleboard! The bathrooms are all very nice, as well as the bedrooms. The beds were very comfy, we all liked those! Cute cookware, and plenty of kitchen items/utensils! Plenty of cleaning supplies/garbage bags. Had issues finding the place, but once you're there it was excellent!

Snowy cabin getaway

The stay was seamless! From the communication prior to check to the few questions we had along the way. We stayed at this cabin last year which was the reason we wanted to stay again this year. The pictures and description were spot on!

Gorgeous location, comfy stay!

Comfortable beds are the #1 thing I look for . . . and every single bed was incredibly comfy. We had 6 adults at the property for 5 nights in -22 degree weather and we were so comfy and happy the entire time. The location was great. Surrounded by trees. Expansive and beautiful building. Had the amenities we wanted. We all agreed that it was our best retreat yet. The owner is very responsive.

Ladyā€™s fall retreat

This beautiful, spacious, serene rental was perfect for our retreat. Seven (mostly retired) girlfriends who worked for a large food service distributor, we love to cook, eat, drink, shop, and gab. The kitchen was great, the large dining room table wonderful for our elegant dinner. Easy access, plenty of beds, three and a half bathrooms! Very comfy living room furniture and cozy gas fireplace. The owner was a gem to work with, responded quickly to our questions, and made our stay stress free. Highly recommended this property.

Amazing place

The property was great, had everything we needed and then some. Very spacious and comfortable, clean and well stocked. Amazing views lots to do and perfect for a large group. Thanks to Lance the owner for providing us with a great place, we are planning to make it a yearly event.
