Cute, basement rental

I rented the entire house. The basement unit was super cute with a full kitchen, dining room, living area, bedroom, and exercise area. I hope to stay again.

Basement Apartment

The neighborhood was quiet and the apartment was clean. But this is a house converted into two apartments. The basement view was filled with spider webs and a few spiders in the apartment. The thermostat was pre set to 78 degrees I constantly had to adjust it lower so we wouldn’t burn up. The blanket on the bed was made for deep winter so we burned up all night anyways, shampoo/conditioner they supplied looked like it had been there for a while and the people upstairs were noisy. Last but not least this might be normal but they charged a cleaning fee but when we left we where expected to leave the laundry in the laundry room and take the trash out to the curb. Would not choose to stay here again.

We genuinely wish we had known about the heat adjustment issue, as we could have promptly helped you find the optimal temperature settings since we have both central heat and air conditioning. Additionally, had we been aware of your preference for a thinner blanket, we could have directed you to where we have alternative bedding options to ensure your comfort. You may not have noticed that we openly disclose that our property is an apartment in our listing title, also in the description, and explain that each rental is completely private as well. While we enforce quiet hours at night, it's inevitable that living in close proximity to another unit may lead to occasional noise disturbances. We're delighted to hear that most guests enjoy the amenities we offer, including the gym and garage parking. We sincerely apologize if the provided toiletries did not meet your expectations; we continuously strive to provide a wide range of amenities to enhance our guests' experience. We are encouraged by the companies we host through to provide clear checkout guidance for our guests. We understand that every rental has its own set of expectations, and we aim to ensure a seamless and respectful departure process. Placing used towels in the laundry room and taking out the trash are common practices in short-term rentals, but we appreciate your feedback and will review our procedures to ensure clarity for future guests. We haven’t had problems with lots of spiders before because we have an organic pest control come in regularly. It could be because it’s the time of year that they start waking up, but we’ll let our pest control know to re-treat right away. We also will have the window wells cleaned out asap. Thanks for letting us know. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts with us. We wish you the very best!
