This 3rd-floor corner condo in the modern beachfront complex of El Faro is spectacular! In a phenomenal location, it has a wrap-around terrace with incredible views of the Caribbean Sea! Lounge in your private plunge pool on the terrace as you sip a beverage and listen to live music across the way at Zenzi Beach Bar. There's a spacious, modern kitchen and inviting dining room that seats 8; with ocean views from every angle. 10-ft ceilings throughout. Also with ocean views, the Master Bedroom is gorgeously decorated and has a turquoise feature wall. It features a Queen bed, terrace access with jacuzzi, and full bathtub and rain shower in ensuite. The guest bedroom has 2 full beds, and an adjoining bathroom with rain shower. Washer and dryer are tucked away in 3rd bathroom.

This luxurious vacation rental is near the Cozumel island ferry and 5th-Avenue for shopping, world-class dining, and entertainment. This is the ideal location for a family retreat of fun, adventure, and relaxation on Caribbean shores! Underground parking (Extra Parking Fee - 15 USD per night).

**NOTE: This vibrant location offers lively clubs, restaurants and shopping in the area, contributing to an energetic atmosphere. While we strive to provide a memorable experience, some noise may be present at the terrace. Regrettably, we are unable to offer refunds for any inconvenience caused by noise. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy your stay! Beginning May 15 through early July, painting of the facades of the condominium will start. We will be using hanging scaffolding and ladders, and the staff will be working from 9 am to 5 pm Mon- Fri., and 9-12pm on Saturdays.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

- Your booking automatically includes a damage protection policy. Should any minor accidental damages occur during your stay, we will cover you up to $1,000. We understand accidents happen, so we've got your back! However, if we determine damage was willful or negligent, we will charge an additional cost based on the damage itself.
- We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved.
-The deck in the front of the El Faro complex is currently under construction. The beach condition changes everyday, weather and hurricanes tend to affect how wide the sand area is in our photos and sometimes the water reaches up to the deck.

- Exciting News! This condo is currently on the market for sale. Don't worry, you won't be bothered with potential buyers during your stay. We hope you enjoy the unique experience of staying in a property that could become your dream home or investment.

Great Location. -1/2 block from 5th Fabulous wraparound deck with lounger chairs - great views! -3 Bathrooms -Nice kitchen, good amenities for condo -"feels safe" 24Hr security -It has a very nice pool, -be nice if open later than 10pm Although beach not private, it effectively is a private space... not many non guests hang out here. -Internet -CircleK right downstairs for little necessities. (10pm curfew for liquor) and pharmacy across street Grocery with in a couple blocks and Walmart if needed. Location and view were great. It has a very nice pool and attendant gets you umbrella as soon as you get there. Great amenities for a condo. The sargassum was pretty bad but that is not the property’s fault. Please note that there is not much of a beach in this area. The people we dealt with at check in and also through email were amazing. I will definitely stay here again

Great Stay Overall
So overall value of this stay was very high. Two full 3rd floor balcony views of the Ocean would cost you $500 a night at any hotel. Its a condo , that apparently is currently for sale; so I'd guess owners are upside down and are looking to re-cover money anyway possible. Pros... -Location. -1/2 block from 5th -Views. Wrap around Deck is saweet! -3 Bathrooms -Nice kitchen -"feels safe" 24Hr security -It is a very nice pool, -be nice if open later than 10pm Although beach not private, it effectively is a private space... not many non guests hang out here. -Master suite has ocean balcony -Internet -Price After smoke clears... its $220-$250/NIGHT! -CircleK right downstairs for little necessities. (10pm curfew for liquor) Cons: -Stove is junk. Buttons so worn out you cant even read them. We didn't use, so no big deal to me..... -Things are needing a little TLC. Handyman could have place whipped back into shape in a week, if owners would just do it. Just little things.... paint, patching, loose tiles. -Only 2 guests allowed .....(although after 9, front desk folks are nowhere to be found; so not sure how they'd police that) -There's a bar next door that rocks pretty good on weekends... until midnight. then things settle down. -if you're a night owl.... that wouldn't matter, but if you go to bed at 8..... might be an issue. -Furniture a bit worn out. Indoor and outdoor. Trip to Ikea would do wonders. -Some Excusions in the area dont "recognize" Residences El Faro

Wonderful Property and Staff
We stayed in PDC for a few days before moving onto Akumal. This place was a perfect start to our trip. The unit was clean and all the staff were very helpful, from the garage security, to the front desk (Carina was great to work with) to cleaning and maintenance. Very impressed. We will return to this location. Thanks again!

What a view!
El Faro Surf 309 has to have one the best views in Plays Del Carmen. The moment you walk in the door you are surrounded by water. Jeffery with 5 Star is awesome. Great communication and easily switched our date of stay to accommodate our travel itinerary. Everything was great except the beds in our room. We definitely expected better. We actually slept on the couch a few nights because the beds in the condo were that bad. Which meant we had to listen to the very loud music from across the street. The noise isn’t terrible in the bedrooms but the living room is very noisy until around 4 am when the DJ stops playing. With That said, we would stay at El Faro again, but probably in a different unit.
