Le Tilleul de Vaour - VAOUR

Stop in Vaour, a small, quiet village overlooking the Grésigne forest and the Aveyron Gorges, in a comfortable cottage for two people. With a bit of luck, you might spot a doe in the garden or the neighboring field. This is where real holidays happen: plenty of rest and relaxation. Enjoy walks in the woods, swimming, canoeing, and fishing in the nearby Aveyron gorges. Vaour is ideally located, just 15 km from numerous villages to explore and a wealth of activities, and at the heart of the Albi-Toulouse-Rodez triangle. Discover the fortified towns (Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Castelnau-de-Montmiral, Penne and its fortress, Cordes-sur-Ciel). You can also enjoy walks in the Grésigne forest. In early August, the Vaour Summer Festival brings the village to life. This 80 m² cottage is located in a converted barn dating back to 1895, patiently renovated by Barbara and Jean-Pierre using local stone and wood. Adjoining the owners' house, with a courtyard at the front and a garden at the rear, it features a pleasant swing under the linden tree. It can accommodate two people: - A large living room or simply a relaxation area with a sofa and open-plan kitchen, - A bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. Wood-burning stove (wood provided free of charge). Bed linen and towels are available for rent, and end-of-stay cleaning is also available. Please note: a supplement of €10 will be charged for any occupancy exceeding the maximum occupancy. €/person/day will be charged.
