Pet friendly home in Oberaula-Hausen

The holiday home in Oberaula in Hesse is furnished in a cosy country house style and is both homely and practical. The single-storey house is particularly suitable for holidays with children. The rural surroundings are a wonderful place to switch off.



The AULATAL holiday park is nestled between forests and fields at the foot of the Eisenberg in the Knüllgebirge. The holiday park offers wonderful relaxation and recreation in the climatic health resort of Oberaula-Hausen. Here in "Little Red Riding Hood Land", the home of the Brothers Grimm, there are many interesting things to explore. The festival town of Bad Hersfeld with its spa gardens is particularly worth a visit. There are four great tours for motorbike riders, for which maps are available on site.



The surrounding area offers sporting activities to suit every taste, for example a direct connection to the Little Red Riding Hood Railway Cycle Path, which can be travelled by bike or e-bike. Hikers will find many signposted hiking trails and extensive maps. Guided hikes are also offered, for example to the Knüllhöpfen or the Eisenberg with its viewing tower.



The very attractive 18-hole golf course of the Kurhessen Golf Club is only 1,000 metres away. There is a discount on the green fee for guests staying at the holiday home. Training sessions are also available.



The outdoor pool in summer is 1.5 km away and the bathing lake in Seepark Kirchheim with water skiing facilities and restaurants is 5 km away. The indoor swimming pool with sauna in Bad Hersfeld AquaFit is open from September to April. Fishing is possible at various lakes. The Oberaula tennis club and football club are happy to offer their facilities to guests. Segway time in Rotkäppenland is available from May to September. Canoeing on the Fulda and play adventures in the Jahnpark are great experiences.



The Wasserkuppe, Hesse's highest mountain, which can be reached in around 1 hour, offers skiing opportunities with cross-country ski trails and a ski lift.



All shopping facilities, restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, a bakery and a butcher are approx. 2 km from the house.



The Knüll Wildlife Park, 30 km away, is home to wolves, bears and wild horses, and the information centre provides interesting information about the region. About an hour away are the Edersee and Waldeck Castle, Kassel with the Hercules World Heritage Site and the GrimmWelt, the Wasserkuppe and the Rhön-Höhenstraße, the Wartburg and the Hainich, the cathedral city of Fulda and about an hour and a half from the Main metropolis of Frankfurt.
