Awesome room. Very cozy, with plenty of amenities. Excellent location that was close to everything we needed but far enough out to relax. Would book again, and probably will!

This was a lovely place in the woods, which was very close to town. The cabin was very nice and clean and smell good. It was convenient for everything that we needed.The only thing I would say is that for anyone with bad knees or someone who is elderly, it would be difficult to go up the main steps. There are shorter steps, but you have to walk further. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

We were in town for a softball tournament and just needed an extra night and this place was perfect. So cute and comfortable. We were very pleased. Thank you for everything!

Visit with family

We stayed six days. It was nice to have a place to come back and relax. He stayed in December so no water rafting activities. Trevor was very nice and answered all of our questions and greeted us when we came in.

Great cabin!!!

Our 1st VRBO experience and we are very pleased with the overall experience. We enjoyed our stay and very happy with Bigfoot Cabin. The host was wonderful and made our stay enjoyable. He was prompt replying to our messages when we had questions. The cabin was great, clean and fresh. Will definitely be our go to cabin when in town on vacay. Thank you for making our stay an unforgettable one.

The unit was very nice and we loved the wood and the bear decor.

The towels did not smell fresh and my sheets (bunk bed bottom) did not seem fresh. The big bed was fine.

Peaceful

It was amazing to be able to have the place all to myself. I cannot speak for noise levels from the other units this trip. Was only in town for a short visit but will definitely be looking to book here again next month if there’s availability. I loved the easy access to town while still maintaining seclusion in the woods. The unit I stayed in seemed to be pretty well maintained as well. :)

Consistency is Key!

Chose to stay here again and I’m pleased to say all was as well as last time. Porch light was left on, AC on too which helped fight the mugginess. The cicadas were in full swing with their song and birds aplenty. If you’re coming in close or after dark, make use of a headlamp or cell flashlight with the walkway to the cabin. Would definitely come stay again next time we’re up this way ☺️

Clean

Super clean, plenty of towels, good coffee, internet was great (if he didn’t have internet my service would have been rough). Plan to return in the summer and maybe go white water rafting. Biggest downfall is the walls are thin. Only complaint

My company, Bigfoot Outfitters, hires seasoned whitewater raft guides to ensure we can provide the best possible rafting experience. We'd love to hear from you. Sorry, I know the walls in the lodge are definitely not soundproof. We spent about $4,000 a couple years ago adding additional spray foam in the interior walls to help reduce noise and that has helped some, but does not eliminate you from hearing guests in the next room sometimes. Excellent place to relax and enjoy some quiet outdoor experience. Room was real clean and property owner was great in reaching out for anything we needed. All in all it was a great experience and i highly recommend this rental.
