Beautiful Place

We had a Great Stay! The townhome was just as it was pictured with everything we needed for our stay. Barefoot Landing is directly across the street with lots of things to do. The pool amenities were beyond our expectations. We truly enjoyed everything and are looking forward to coming back.

The resort was amazing and staff was great. Loved the location and the house was nice. The place was not very clean...had lots of mold and mildew in the shower and carpets pretty dirty. We were there for our sons wedding so we did not cook much in the villa.if I had would be very frustrated. Not much to work with and the dishwasher did not work. Overall an awesome vacation and loved the resort.

Loved it here!!!!

House was beautiful, property was beautiful, and the beach and our time here was great! Only complaints that we had…several lights that didn’t work (even when plugging things in and having light switches turned proper ways), the master TV wouldn’t work and we didn’t have enough pool bands upon arrival. We reached out and we were told those two things would be fixed and they were not! Still would highly recommend and return!!!! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We apologize you didn't receive the assistance you needed, Ashleigh. Guests are provided with six pool bands and six pool cards; if any of those are missing, staff will assist you. The master bedroom cable line has been plugged back in, and all lights appear to be working at this time. Thank you!

Spring break

We absolutely loved this location. The neighborhood was nice to walk and bike. The pool and beach access at North Beach Towers was great. We also enjoyed the convenience to Barefoot Landing shops and restaurants. However we did have some issues with the property. There were painters working outside the entire time we were there. They were actually on our balcony and on ladders at our windows so we did not feel like we had the place to ourselves. The pool bands were missing, so I had to track those down from Vacasa. We could not get the tv to work in the main room. The carpet was yuck (needs replacing). I found myself wanting to wear shoes inside at all times. But aside from that, the space was nice. Beds are comfy. Good water pressure. We enjoyed the bikes and ping pong table.

Nice Location

We really liked the location of this home. We enjoyed the feel of being away from the busy areas, but still very close. The pools were beautiful and the beach was so close and convenient. The whole resort appeared to be very well maintained. In terms of the home, we were not very impressed. We didn't have enough pillows, dishes, or silverware for our family. The sheets didn't fit the bed and popped off every night. We called and they said they would bring us the things we needed, but they never did. The home was lacking a lot of basics, which are not indicated in the description. The house was not super clean. It looks like they do a quick wipe down, but never take the time to actually clean things, so there is a bit of a grimy feel (carpet, furniture, floors). Overall, we would stay at this resort again, but not this particular property.

Needs repairs and deep clean

Our stay started out rough when we arrived to find the property dirty and needing lots of repairs. No shower curtain or paper towels were left so I immediately had to go to the store. After calling the property management we were assured someone would be out to address the issues. No one ever came or called us back. This property is in need of a deep clean. The carpet is very dirty and there are dirty handprints on the doors and walls. Lots of dust and dirty floors. Several lights and ceiling fans did not work. Blinds are broken, horrible wi-fi, and a broken garage door were also issues we found. We have booked through VRBO several times and have always had great experiences. This property was a huge let down and not at all up to the standards it should have been. We were very disappointed with our stay.

Needs some love…

The location of this house and the community it is in are absolutely fabulous. It is definitely the nicest community and best location I have found in North Myrtle Beach so far. Unfortunately, this house needs quite a few repairs and a real good deep cleaning. The house was dirty when we arrived, with trash bags on the balcony, food debris on the floors, dirty surfaces not wiped and dishes put away dirty. The stairs look like they haven’t been vacuumed in months. Vacasa was informed right away, but nobody came to clean the house. I was refunded an insulting 50% of the cleaning fee since we spent the beginning of our brief vacation cleaning. As the days went on we found that many things were in need of repair. The dishwasher, refrigerator, hair dryer and garbage disposal need to be repaired or more likely replaced. Several lights throughout the home did not function. A smart TV or two would be a big improvement, but the TVs were functional. The beds were clean and comfortable. The master bath shower, while not particularly well cleaned, had great water pressure and felt fantastic. Enough detergent was provided for dishes and a couple loads of laundry. Enough trash bags, toilet paper and soap was provided to get us through the first couple days. I will return to this community, and would love to see this house repaired and rejuvenated, but I will never book with Vacasa again.

Terrible! Night and Day comparison from stay 2 months ago

So where do I begin? When we first checked in Friday (later than anticipated due to work) -9:30 pm, the place was filthy! Received an email that our rental would be clean and ready for check in at 4 PM. Walked in and there was popcorn, Cheetos, crushed up chips, stuff all over the floor throughout the house. The previous occupants dirty towels were strayed all over the bathrooms. There was hair all over the bathroom counters and sink handles. There was sticky substances on the bedside tables and all over the kitchen counter. There was a huge hole ripped out of the middle of the comforter on the master bed. The blinds were rolled up halfway through the windows and when you unroll them all the edges were all cracked off. The ceiling fan downstairs looked like someone had hung from it and the light no longer worked. The shower door in the master didn’t close properly. The dishwasher still does not work and did not work when we stayed two months ago to which I reported back then. It took me the first day and a half of my vacation with my family to get any assistance on trying to get this fixed. Hours on the phone and repeated promised return phone calls. After the fourth phone call to the property manager team Vacasa, I was able to get someone to come clean and they were there for all of 30 minutes. My husband and I took the initiative to clean it so that our family could participate in our spring break as planned comfortably. This was not at all what I anticipated this trip with my husband and children. The booking stated they offer expert cleaning on their booking website and that was a far stretch this time around. Another person - Derek reached out to check on how our stay was going about half way through the trip and had no idea what had even taken place. Vacasa did refund the cleaning fee- which I thought was a minimum and a bit of the booking fee. Just so disappointed this time around. Really love North Beach Plantation and stay there quite often but this time was a nightmare.

Lovely rental

Perfect condo for 2-4 people

The photos and description of this condo are spot on. The unit was clean, bright and airy, spacious for 2 people and had bikes, beach chairs and even a ping pong table! Very close to the local ice cream parlor and our favorite restaurant, Nacho Hippo. The on-site amenities are great; gym, multiple outdoor pools, and indoor lazy river and easy access to the beach. Very well maintained property!

I really did enjoy my stay here, everything was

We had a great experience, only thing missing were our bands for the pool and parking pass. But that did not stop the show. We enjoyed the house it was so clean!!! And very comfortable!!! I would definitely stay again. I especially love the bikes stored for access, we rode bikes all around.

Perfect for our family

We had a great time staying here. The accommodations were very clean and my kids loved the ping pong table. North Beach is a fantastic area to stay however the walk to the beach is probably around 15 minutes. The only thing we were disappointed in was the lack of towels and we didn't have any washcloths. Other than that we loved our stay.
