New 3rd 5-room apartment in a beautiful, quiet location in Grindelwald, 2 bedrooms with double beds and a spacious bathroom with bath and shower. The heart of the apartment is the open kitchen and the cozy, bright living and dining area. The sofa bed can accommodate 1 additional person. The kitchen is fully equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a hairdryer. Furnished balcony with a beautiful view of the Eiger North Face. Internet, parking and ski storage are available free of charge.

Great stay in Grindenwald

Fantastic property, easy to communicate with host. We had everything we needed and used the bus, very easy to get around without a car. We loved our visit!

Best of Switzerland

Clean, modern, spacious property. Breath taking view of Eiger from rear balcony. Well equipped. Good location close to train, town and attractions. A bit of a steep walk to property, but once we figured out bus system( there’s a bus stop 5 minutes walk) that gets you to town or train in no time.

I stayed here for a week mid-September and enjoyed every minute. The property is situated on the hill across from downtown… away from the noise. The apartment was very clean and well appointed with everything anyone would need. The sound of the river helps one sleep well. The bus to/from the town and various transportation centers in Grindelwald can be found about 150 feet (50M) from the door. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location, perfect apartment

We stayed five nights at Hermann‘s beautiful and comfortable apartment. The back deck has a fantastic view of the Eiger North Face. The Grund train station and the Grindelwald Terminal are walking distance. The bus stops right behind the apartment. We had a car, but I think you could get by without one. It didn’t hurt that we had four days of beautiful weather.

Fantastic Views

Very clean and well kept. Right in the middle of the action in Grindelwald but just a mile away from downtown. Views were fantastic. You will need a car or bikes to reach the nearest grocery store in downtown. Beds were comfy but were missing the top sheet. Kitchen was well equipped as we made meals 3 out of 4 nights. A welcome book with some instructions on how to operate some things in the kitchen and what types of coffee pods to buy would have been nice. Coffee pods were provided but we ran out and couldn't find them at local grocery store. Overall, the place was great! Would stat again.

Perfekt für einen entspannten und erlebnisreichen Urlaub

Sehr schöne, großzügige, tip top saubere Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Der Ausblick auf den Eiger und über Grindelwald ist großartig. Die Lage ist hervorragend, um von Grindelwald aus das Jungfraugebiet zu entdecken. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und aufmerksam. Ankommen, wohlfühlen und einen schönen Urlaub haben. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Die Unterkunft war wirklich super! Alles sehr sauber und in einem top Zustand. Hermann war wirklich super nett und hat uns unsere ganzen Fragen beantwortet. Die Lage der Unterkunft war sehr schön, man konnte gut auf dem Balkon sitzen und die schöne Aussicht auf die Eigernordwand genießen und man hatte seine Ruhe. Immer wieder gerne und sehr zu empfehlen!

Hikeaholics!

Absolutely perfect! House is very comfortable with everything you need. Perfect view of the Eiger and the trail is right out your door. Great location for trains and cable car and places to eat! We did not have a car and got around just fine. Hermann was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this place!

Glorious Grindelwald Awesome Eiger

Over twenty five visits to the Bernese Oberland and this property is up there with the very best of them. Situated in a tranquil area of Grindelwald with extraordinary panoramic views, the awesome Eiger from the balcony, the twinkling lights of Grindelwald village from the rear bedroom. Honestly truly fabulous. A ten minute walk down to Grund Bahnhof for cogwheel trains to Interlaken, the main village, to Kleine Scheidegg and onwards to Jungfraujoch. Also Grindelwald Terminal for cableways to the Mannlichen and Eiger glacier(fast to Jungfraujoch). There’s a 2 minute walk to the superb hourly bus service to the village, and by car you’re 5 minutes to Grindelwald village centre and a couple of minutes from the nearest food shop. The accommodation is comfortable and has almost everything you need for a thoroughly enjoyable visit to this glorious part of the World. We had one query on arrival and this was answered quickly and efficiently by Hermann. We will return.. probably VERY soon!

Absolutely fantastic. A taste of paradise!!

A beautiful chalet perfectly located slightly out of the beautiful town centre of Grindelwald. An astonishing unspoilt view of the Eiger North Face and a top class standard of accommodation. We were a family of 3 who were able to take the bus from the top of the road easily and explore all that the area has to offer. Cannot recommend here highly and Hermann was very helpful with any questions.

Absolutely fabulous Swiss visit!

Our month in Europe included a six night stay in this gorgeous Swiss chalet, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay in the alps. The apartment looks over mount Eiger, beds are super comfortable, kitchen is so well equipped we even made our own fondu! Really appreciated Hermann’s helpfulness along the way. Highly recommend!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit guter Lage zum Skigebiet

Wir haben als Familie mit einer erwachsenen Tochter unseren Urlaub in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Wir fanden die Ferienwohnung in einem sehr guten und sehr sauberen Zustand vor. Alles wirkt sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet, sogar ein Raclettegerät und ein Käsefonduetopf sind vorhanden. Der Balkon ist nach Südwesten - hier wären ob des tollen Wetters Liegestühle super gewesen. Aber auch so haben wir nach dem Skifahren dort noch herrliche Zeiten verbracht. Der Check-in und der Check-out haben sehr gut geklappt. Hermann war sehr freundlich zu uns. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

schönes Haus zum Genießen

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Hermans Haus. Die Lage ist gut, der Bus zur Skipiste ist nur wenige Meter entfernt. Das Haus war sauber, geräumig und hatte einen schönen Südbalkon, auf dem man in der Sonne sitzen konnte. Der Ein- und Auszug ging dank des praktischen Schlüsselsafes schnell.

Eine traumhafter Winterurlaub in einer tollen Ferienwohnung

Wir haben uns sofort total wohl gefühlt in dieser super ausgestatteten und toll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Es ist wirklich an alles gedacht, sogar ein Raclette und ein Fondue sind vorhanden. Sehr genossen haben wir auch die Lage, da zwei Talabfahrten in unmittelbarer Nähe sind und ein Ski-out direkt möglich ist. Super netter und unkomplizierter Gastgeber!

Umwerfend

Der Blick aus der Wohnung auf die Eigernordwand ist zu jeder Tageszeit einfach umwerfend! Die Wohnung ist groß mit guten Betten und sehr guter Küchenzeile plus Ausstattung. Es ist alles vorhanden, auch scharfe Küchenmesser! Wir haben uns zu viert als Familie mit 2 erwachsenen Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne würden wir mal wieder kommen.

Mooi ruim appartement

Heerlijke soepele boxspring bedden. Brandschoon. Mooi uitzicht op de Eiger vanaf balkon op t zuiden. Voor brood halen 1km naar de Landi. Er is ruimte voor fietsen te stallen.

Perfect Apartment with Stunning Views

Such a great apartment. Easy to find in a location very close to public transport. Views of the mountains and across the valley are outstanding. The apartment itself has everything you need and was very clean and beautifully decorated. Beds are super comfortable, probably the best we’ve slept in on our travels. Hermann is easy to contact and very helpful. Highly recommend this apartment to couples or families. Would definitely stay here again.
