One-of-a-kind home in Ankeny on 1.8 acres with a pond. You will truly feel like you are on a resort but will be able to have this piece of paradise all for yourself.

Guests will be asked to leave the property immediately for the following reasons (any unused rental monies will not be refunded):
* Must be 25 years of age to rent the property-- no exceptions.
* Exceeding maximum occupancy (12 is the maximum occupancy, including visitors)
* Disruptive behavior
* Bringing any type of pet into the home
* Smoking/vaping in or around the home
* Any type of drug use
* Violating any of the house rules as defined in the rental agreement

This A-Frame Home features an open concept space-- perfect for those desiring more family time. Enjoy sitting on the deck & listening to all that nature has to offer. Enjoy our newly added large patio next to the pond where you can relax and hang out with friends and family next to the fire. Located 5 minutes from Saylorville Lake, 8 minutes to Prairie Trail District, and 20 minutes to downtown Des Moines.

This is a lovely house- clean- and great location. Messaged with property manager a couple of times prior to stay and they were quick to respond- much appreciated the fast response. I was in town for a wedding and the house was so beautiful we had the bride get ready at the house. Was hopeful she would have taken some photos there but we ran out of time. Thank you for a great stay

Used as a company retreat. It is a beautiful property that I'd use again. Very private. Sleeps 7 is true, but only 4 bedrooms (it looked like more in pics - more of a VRBO issue). Hosts were great and clear about expectations. Comfortable accommodations. It was a great space.

Carefree Weekend Away

House was scrupulously clean and well appointed. All the information we needed was easy to find. Lovely setting and plenty of space for our mid-sized group to spread out throughout the day.

Great property for our family

The entire property (house, outside, pond) was very clean and exactly as listed. It was a great place for our short family getaway and if we need to stay in the area again, I will check to see if this property is available. Thank you for the great stay!

Beautiful home! It is exactly as described. The host was verybquick to respond to a question we had. The pond was a big highlight! We enjoyed our evenings on the deck. I highly recommend this place!

Great Family Time

The property is gorgeous and has just the right amount of space for kids to run and explore safely. At the same time, there are plenty of spots with gorgeous views to relax with a cold drink or cup of coffee and take in the beauty of nature and kids playing about. Beds were comfortable and house/kitchen is well furnished! Highly recommend!

Amazing! This property is spacious, clean and well equipped. Well decorated and very comfy!

I was meeting with four friends who did not know one another so we needed spaces to just sit and visit as well as eat. This home was just the spot with indoor and outdoor spaces to sit comfortably and visit. All of us had plenty of space in our bedrooms, and the living spaces were fantastic. Very comfortable and conducive to conversation. I could not be happier with the stay we had.

Lake Getaway

Stayed at this property for two nights over the Summer. We had two families (4 adults, 4 kids) and the house was a perfect fit! Kids loved fishing each morning and evening in the pond! Short distance to Saylorville Lake where we rented a boat for the day. Highly recommend this property!

Family thanksgiving and sister 60th SURPRISE~

The house and property were immaculate and beautiful. The manager was somewhat short with me when I reached out regarding sending the code to enter the property which I felt was unnecessary, especially considering the premium price we paid for the house. We did enjoy our stay and appreciate being close to the venue we had planned for our family get togethers.

Lovely Property

This was a well appointed place for our quarterly board meeting with ample table space for working. Kitchen was well equipped. The grounds are lovely. However, no hair dryers! Five women and no hair dryer…not good!

Beautiful Property!

The property was very well maintained on a beautiful manicured lot. Plenty of seating for our group of 8. The kitchen was well stocked with many kitchen utensils to prepare a meal. We do have a few suggestions: When we arrived there was only 1/4 of a paper towel roll. Please have an extra roll on hard. There were no storage bags, plastic wrap or tin foil. If you have foil it will save on the wear and tear of your pans. You also did not have any Pyrex type storage containers. With a big house and grill I am sure your guests eat in. Finally, there were hardly any hand towels & was cloths (not very sanitary with one bath on the main floor). Finally, not many bath towels & quality of the towels did not match the house. These are a few suggestions that would have helped may our brief stay more enjoyable when preparing meals. Thank you very much! Over all you have beautiful property and great for families or multiple couples! :-)
