Large apartment for 10 people, with sauna, on the Kylltal bike path

The apartment Kylltal is located in the heart of the Eifel town of Birresborn, and offers cozy, spacious and comfortable leisure enjoyment for up to 10 people on its 210m². The apartment, which was completely renovated in 2017, is the ideal starting point for bike tours, hikes or fly fishing on the Kyll.
The apartment extends over two floors and offers a living room with a large living area and flat screen, a dining room with fireplace, a comfortably furnished kitchen incl. Dishwasher, 3 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with bunk beds, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. One of the bedrooms has a sofa bed that can be used as an additional bed for two people.
A special highlight is the sauna and relax area. On a total of 35m² you can relax and unwind after an eventful day.
You can store your bikes safely in a storage room.



Apartment in detail

The apartment, which was completely refurbished in 2017, offers space for up to 10 people on a living space of approx. 210 sqm.
The apartment has a total of 4-5 bedrooms.
Room 1:
 Space for 2-4 people. Equipped with a double bed and also with a sofa, which is available as a sofa bed for two children (or adults) if required.

Room 2 and room 3:
Each for 2 people. Equipped with a double bed

Room 4:
Preferably for two children. Equipped with a bunk bed. The beds measure 0.9mx2m and could also be used by adults.

Two bathrooms:
Each floor offers a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, and 1-2 wash basins.

Kitchen:
The modern fitted kitchen is equipped with an oven, 4 ceramic hob, fridge and dishwasher. In the cupboards you will find dishes for 10 people as well as the necessary kitchen tools. And of course we also provided a machine for a delicious cup of coffee. There is also an ironing board and iron.

Dining room:
 Right next to the kitchen is the dining room, with space for the whole group. On cool days, a fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere and invites you to linger. There is a high chair for small children.

Living room:
A large living area in the living room is certainly the central meeting point after an eventful day of vacation. The ideal place to relax, for pleasant conversations, games, or to watch TV on the 52 “flat screen TV. Various board games and a small book collection are available.

Sauna and relax area:
This includes a Finnish sauna (2mX2m), a shower, and a relaxation area with lying areas. You also have direct access to the inner courtyard, where you can cool off from the crowd.
The rest area could also be used as a fifth bedroom

Leisure:
For an excursion by bike we can provide you with two adult bikes and two children's bikes. If you need more, or the sizes don't fit, you can also rent bikes in the village for a fee.

Location and surroundings

Birresborn is located in the Vulkaneifel at about 350 m above sea level and is part of the Vulkaneifel nature and geopark. The Salmwald, of which large parts belong to Birresborn, is one of the core and quiet zones of the nature park.
Around 65% of the total area of 2,087 ha is forested and invites you to take long walks and hikes. The Kylltal cycle path leading through our town and the close connection to the Eifelsteig also delight guests and locals.
The paradise for fly fishermen should also be mentioned in particular: the Kyll. Known far beyond the borders of our region, fly fishing in Birresborn is very popular.

In the village there is a bakery, two restaurants with good cuisine, a vegetable shop and, in an emergency, a doctor and a bicycle dealer / factory town. Everything easy to reach on foot. The best shopping opportunities can be found in the larger neighboring town of Gerolstein, which is about a 10-minute drive away. The train station with direct connection to Cologne and Trier is only a few minutes' walk from the apartment.
