Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet 707A is a 2 bedroom 2 bath renovated condominium located on the 7th floor. There is only 6 floor plans of this kind at Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet. The condo is a larger 2 bedroom 2 bath floor that boasts a huge south facing balcony. With approximately 915 square foot of living space the condo is very spacious and has open floor plan. The master bedroom and living area has balcony access. The master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedroom has a queen. The condo features renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, counter oven and built-ins. There is all new luxury vinyl flooring throughout and the entire condo has been updated. King, Queen, Sofa Sleeper. Sleeps 6.

Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet is a 9 story building at it's highest peak located 3.3 miles West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores with deeded beach access directly across the street and a private boardwalk to the beach. Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet has a lush landscaped lagoon side outdoor pool area, hot tub, pier, boat launch, tennis, shuffleboard and BBQ/picnic area. There is a 2 car limit. Parking passes must be purchased by guest at the Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet Front Desk On-site Office. 3 night minimum year round. 25 year age limit. Sleeps 6.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Great Visit

We had a wonderful visit at the Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet club! The rental was clean with small touches for the guest and the front office staff were SOOO friendly and nice with our questions! We were a bit hesitant when VRBO wasnā€™t able to answer all of our questions but when I called the Club directly they were so helpful.

Double water views

In spite of the mega concerts located on the beach two miles from us, getting around was not difficult. Very nice relaxing condo and great amenities. Love the pool area and private beach. Staff and neighbors were very nice to us.

This was without a doubt the nicest unit we had rented. We absolutely loved the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It gave a more comfortable feel to it. We are already trying to plan a date next summer hopefully able to get the same unit.

Enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was organized pretty good for cooking in. The balcony was nice to sit on in the evenings. The ocean was across the road, but we could see it. We had access to the ocean across the road. Weā€™ll be back.

Peaceful

Communication with the property manager was very good. They promptly answered any questions I had. The condo was very nice and clean and to add the icing on the cake, if you leave the patio door cracked, you can hear the waves of the gulf from the bedroom and living room. It was so peaceful and relaxing. My boys and I really enjoyed it. The only damper was I had to supply my own trash bags and tissue once what they initially provided (1 trash bag and 1 roll of tissue for both bathrooms) were gone. At most place the essential items are always provided. Other than that, I'd definitely stay again.

The facility was nice! Kids loved the pool and hottub, husband loved being able to walk right out to fish in Lagoon. Downside is, I don't think the dishwasher cleaned the dishes very well at all. When cooking, the dishes smelled very weird so we didn't cook at all. Floors werent super clean. We walked around with house shoes on to prevent our feet from being black. Other then that, it was great!

The kitchen definitely needs some cookware added as we had to go and buy a skillet as there was not one there, and there were very few utensils. However, I loved the office section setup in the living room area. The kitchen was small but they really took advantage of the space that was available for storage. Nice sized bathrooms and closets as well. Excellent balcony! I will say that we left a beach chair sitting by the front door to dry a bit before bringing it in and someone had stolen it by the next AM. -not the fault of anyone other than a dishonest guest. :( Overall, we were very pleased and will stay here again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were able to book this rental at the last minute. I was a little skeptical, but it exceeded my expectations. The view was amazing, and the condo had everything we needed--including a washer/dryer. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our teens. The property was clean except for the tub in the main bathroom. I am hoping it was just an oversight. I found cleaner under the sink in the kitchen and cleaned it, since we arrived late to the property and were ready to take showers. The property was well-maintained and I would be happy to stay here again. There was an incident where someone knocked on our window and door at 1:00 am. I wasn't sure who to call about that. I would recommend leaving a phone number for after hour problems or issues. We drove to the public beach most days, because it was larger and maintained. We used the property beach access in the evenings to look for sharks and dolphins. Gulf Shores Rentals, Inc. was pleasant to do business with and I could take care of everything online, which was very convenient and appreciated!

Worth the price

We loved this property! The beach view was great, and the rooms were clean with plenty of storage. Everything was as pictured. Other thoughts about our stay that are not under the owners' control but might help you -- we stayed in June 2022, and the central building elevators were still closed, so that made the side building elevator more crowded and take longer. Ample parking in the lot, beach erosion across the street lead to us using the 13th street public beach parking and access, 0.8 miles east of the property. Thank you again. Great home! We ever had fun messing with my daughter as the two bedroom closet lights are on the same circuit, so I could turn the 2nd bedroom closet light on and off by turning my closet light on and off. :)
